Why aren't we helping them out to make their own country a better place to live? I would rather buy goods made in a South American country than China. Their our neighbors. Their not communist.

If they fight just as hard to regain control of their own country as they do trying to get into the the United States.......Do better people.

How can anyone not feel bad when you see those desperate faces. And those two women at the end man.. yes we have to take care of our own but we are the greatest country on earth we can walk and chew gum at the same time. Yet the GOP consider these people to be subhuman and call it an invasion. They wouldn’t last a minute in these peoples shoes and goes to show how strong they are and the bravery an determination for a better life

Something needs to be seriously address on why the people from these country feel the seriousness of leaving their countries. What is going on over there ?\nCalifornia is overcrowded. The last 20-30 years California has been flooded with people running from Mexico and other countries connected searching for better lives. I know what I’m talking about I worked for the county and sat and cried hearing stories.

Why don't these people stand and fight to make their country better. Running away from their own country does not help.

I dont understand.... all i hear is how great immigrants built this country, how much better and hard working they are and so on. But yet it seems to be impossible to build up their countries. I just cannot seem to wrap my mind around why they cannot seem to get it together.

I do feel bad for their situation, especially since their government is corrupt and allows gangs/cartels to flourish. But it's not our problem. We have homeless veterans and even our lower class families struggle to keep their benefits. No one who is illegally living in our country should be given better treatment then our own struggling people. And sending money back to those countries does hurt our economy, it's supposed to be spent here than aboard.

Imagine if all these people actually had this passion for making their country better.

Americans need the jobs ,as well as everything else ,All they will do is use the visa money work in our Country send money back to Mexico then Leave to only Go back buy Land and live better than Us there ,,need to be micro chipped too when caught if they make it in .

Century ago.. a Canada country..where thousands of indigenious children tourture and found there remains in premises of Church school.. don't know about there parents may be already dead.. how can anyone find better life there?

This is happening EVERYWHERE in Western countries. They want to break our communities. You can’t blame the men and women leaving Venezuela or other countries looking for a better, safer life. We’ve got to stop hating one another. If the governments in all countries did their jobs properly and looked after their people, they’d not want to leave. Denying people the right to not live in such horrible conditions is just wrong. What would you do if you were them? You would do anything for a better life wouldn't you? Screw the laws... history says enough about the illegal immigrants that created this country. Basic human decency says this is wrong. Let them all come here. Then they'll be nothing and America can expand. Just saying there's a lot of good that could come from expansion.

Over 300,000 homeless veterans wander the streets searching for food and shelter currently. Dying at an estimated rate of 22 a day due to self inflicted harm….the system in place to take care of them and provide comprehensive medical care is crippled and broken….every SINGLE ONE of these men and women has a head full of bad memories and experiences from defending their country in war (some missing limbs)….can’t hold a job and have trouble finding a job….NOONE is making substantial and reinforced efforts to care for these brave men and women. Yet, if you cross that border illegally you’re given shelter (free stay at 5star hotels in NYC sound nice)…comprehensive medical care…food stamps and even job placement for some. And in some cases, we’re providing that help to individuals who are simply making a pit stop between Mexico and Canada because it’s better for them there according to some. Frankly, we have enough issues that are swallowing us whole and need to focus on building up and caring for our own citizens and force stop mass migration, strongly enforce deportation as well as employing more case workers to help with legal immigration process. We spend all this money sending to Ukraine and yet here we are, cutting our own throats to save someone else’s hand. I have no issue with legal immigration and asylum but you need to go through the process like those before you. I know this is asking a lot but it IS possibly to make it work

Americans can’t find jobs and homes, these migrants need to put that same energy and resilience in bettering their own country

We have the same problem not with mexicans, but we have so many people that live on the streets any are English, I wish the Government would get their shit together, there are so many large homes that are empty and shops, I'm sure if they gave homeless paint and materials to fix the properties that they would be happy to make properties liveable, it's not just 10 or 20 i have seen 48 in the past month and must be in every area, I feel so sorry for these people they just want a better life, there's 10000s that come into our country illegally, probably because they tried many times to come here but refused,I wish I had the answer, I also wish I could post what I know to be true, but I can't,?

If developed countries fail to address the disparity between wealthy and developing countries it will be commonplace for economic refugees attempting to enter countries by forceful means. \nYou can't really blame them. \nIt used to be people wanting a better life, it will become a matter of survival for them in the future.

You know what, I’m an immigrant too. I came to America in 1988 from a communist country to have a better life and have religious freedom. But it took us more than 5 years, if not more, to get approved and jump every hurdle, every flaming hoop, and else they asked us to do, BUT, WE DID IT! Why do people think it’s ok to be able to come here illegally when others have to Jump through hoops to get here? And the stupid fucks who think they should be allowed to do that shit, should be made to put em up in THEIR HOMES AND NOT ON THE TAXPAYERS DOLLAR! Period point blank!!!! A country without rules will fall into anarchy. So many people do shit the right way, why do others think it’s ok to say fuck it and became a burden on the economy? Everywhere around the world, there are borders in place, and they’re there for a reason, to keep order, and to prevent illegal entry. Nobody’s saying not to come here, or that you’re not welcome or wanted here. But you have to do it the right way. Millions of people had to do it like that, by the books, the right way, you don’t get a free pass to come here illegally cause it’s hard, or it takes a long time. You’re not the first person to go through this hardship.

They just want a better life for themselves and their children.. their country is in shambles, people starving, can't find jobs. They need to fight for leadership change unfortunately in that country they shoot you if you try to go against the government. With everyone struggling there's not much chance of overthrowing the government so they run to other countries where they think we can provide a better life. As a Veteran I say this: ALL THOSE who hate our country (regardless of citizenship status) who live here, abuse our resources WITHOUT putting anything back into them, and those who leech off Welfare when they can work but are too lazy to do so, should be exiled With citizenship REVOKED! ALL THOSE who want to come live better lives, AND CONTRIBUTE to our great nation, should be allowed to come and live here. THAT is the American Dream. THAT is American.

I get wanting a better life. But American people need to come first. Veterans need to come first. We deserve to have happy lives more than others just bombarding into our country. America can’t even take care of it’s own people first and that’s embarrassing. Every country has a strict way to be able to get in/get citizenship. Yet, when it’s America, everyone yells racist, classism, etc. WE are more important and I will forever say that people who aren’t from here do not belong until they do it the right way.

My parents came illegally but became citizens thru the amnesty from Bill Epstein i mean Clinton, i was born here in California, even though i love my Mexican heritage i still think this is wrong, we need more border control but we also need to be able to make it easier for the good people to come here legally. Donald trump was not racist he was speaking the truth alot of these immigrants are bringing drugs over alot of them are bad people who will cause alot of problems over here for us thats why we need a screening process but a better one than we have now because the one we have now is very expensive and takes way too long, we could use the extra labor from people who want to come and actually work. There’s also more Chinese immigrants than mexican so we need to get a hold of that too , but these Central Americans trying to come in the country alot of them are gang members and most of them are poor and have no resources so when they get here they will become gang members and cause problems because they have no structure and thats all they know. Then you should fight to make it a better place. Black people in America have endured what no other nation has ever experienced. But they stayed and fought for human and civil rights and also built America from the ground up. And made it necessary with the 14th amendment to make it possible for non white immigrants to migrate to America. “Make your own country better “

Their countries are probably better off than our country. People stay where you are/were. Things are not good here. You'll be living on the streets. Begging for food. Many Americans are dealing with this. This is not living, it's barely existing. So so sad.

Hell there ain't nowhere to live I just going to be homeless once I get here. I'll be sleeping with her cousins foot in their mouth every night.
