? it's not only immigrants leaving. I was born and raised here and eventhough it was great growing up, I will miss what this country was. There are far more affordable places to live with much better quality of life. I feel sorry for future generations who will never know what it will be like to live debt free.

There are essentially two major problems when discussing this issue. First and foremost, it is VERY difficult for anyone to even attempt to bring up an intelligent argument because they are instantly branded a racist, so many people just keep quiet, which is not healthy in a democracy. Secondly, when examining the world as it is today, the inescapable fact is that the nations with a high standard of living and a truly democratic system simply cannot sustain the rest of the globe!! It's simply a numbers game, if we gradually permit the rest of the world to bring it's problems here, the outcome is predictable. I absolutely loved it, I think part of the problem is everyone wants to go to YYZ or YVR, but I found the outer suburbs of Montreal, and rural quebec to be even just a little lower than an average US city. Food I guess depends where you go. The situation in the US is only a little better.....Hopefully things get better quickly.....

Not sure how you falled in love with Toronto. Not much to offer compared to Paris, London, New York, Amsterdam, Berlin, Edinburgh, Tokyo. Sorry but it doesn't deserve all that attention and that crazy cost of living. 3 museums, a cn tower, a lake, that's about it. Even Chicago is a lot better in term of public transport, cleaner too. Montreal has more charme as well.

I’m sorry, but that is really disgusting. We do not need more immigrants. Our infrastructure and medical system is already burdened. Not to mention the government often pays for everything for them for the first year so they think they’ve got it good and suddenly when they can’t get a job, because Canada may not recognize their degrees, then they are struggling again. And sadly, if they are Muslim, sometimes they just don’t want to integrate they just want to live their own ways here, but have a better life in our country, and that’s not fair to us. That’s just my big overview and don’t get me wrong in every day life, I have some friends who are Muslim.

Living in Toronto is the worst part of my life. It has made me extremely negative - I just hate being there and constantly\nComplain.
