I've been living in Toronto my whole life and for me personally I wouldn't live anywhere else in Canada! I've been to Quebec a bunch of times but that's about it. Our Country tries to promote for Canadians to travel and explore our own country but it's stupid expensive. Why would I pay for a flight to BC when for the same price and time spent on an airplane just go to Europe! I go to Europe every year because it offers a million more things to explore. The other thing that sucks about Canada (though it's beautiful) it doesn't have a lot of major cities and the ones we do have are very scarcely separated. I love living here but if I had to recommend this country to a tourist, I'd say meh just go see the US because it has the same and more.

Some things about Nova Scotia I think should be mentioned: \n\nJust Halifax and the south shore has mild weather. Anywhere north of Halifax and it is very snowy due to the Frozen Northumberland Strait, Bay of Fundy and the Cape Breton highlands. We are EXTREMELY HUMID. We might not (usually) hit 40 degrees like other provinces, but our humidex temperature can sometimes go above 38 several times a WEEK.\n\nOur wages need to catch up and our healthcare sucks. Our population is EXPLODING. This video is already outdated. When it was released on the 3rd of October is had 982,000. It already has 1,003,000 as of this comment!!!! This is causing house prices to absolutely explode. Which is ticking off locals on top of a super deadly shooting in 2020 and covid, we are a little worn out and cranky I've noticed lately. But we are usually the nicest people ever! \n\nNova Scotia is so beautiful and wonderful.

I came to Canada as a student in January 2020.. Just 3 months in and the pandemic broke out.. I think the Government forgot about the fact that they have international students residing here… we go no socialisation, no friends to hang out with and as a very social person it really hit me hard… Idk it kinda sucks that I had to be completely isolated for 2 years and it’s still the same…

I am preparing to run away from Canada mainly because of hidden crime rate that is disastrously high (government targeting of innocent citizens), theft, racism and discrimination. Also Canadian companies do not like forigners to take their jobs and keep everything secret at work place. So new comers will be doing very low-brain kind of job. I was able to jump to very high levels in my profession and was training engineers and managers on electronic industry - even though they still dont want me to learn everything. So going back main homeland I can be more expert than them all. To me, Canada realy sucks.

I was raised in Brampton Ontario and when my family moved there from ?Nova Scotia there were a total of 20.000thousand people there and when I left there after my mother died I went west my brother stayed my father stayed for 10 more years then went back to NS and I went from BC to Edmonton To Prince Albert it would seem I go to every shit hole in Canada but when I left Brampton there were 3.8 million and when I went back to visit my father in N.S. and my brother in Brampton it was 6.8million and Pictou was the nicest Brampton sucked as the crime rate was crazy .When we were in EDENPARK DRIVE we were there first and the first Pakistani's moved in with the whole color scream hooked shoes with bells on the toes and robes we never seen be for and then finding out there child is named Happy that was different but when my father got a gas BBQ and he was cooking his first roast beef they were all out there cursing my father for cooking there sacred animal and he said dam right it is sacred that my f-ckin dinner.

I’ve lived in Canada my whole life, I’ve gone through a year of culinary school and passed high school with decent grades. Yet still improving my quality of life is an uphill battle. Bus prices and efficiency is awful, if you don’t have a car good luck cause you’ll spend much of your wage on bus fare and still have to walk through poor sidewalk systems to get to your destination. Schooling really didn’t teach me anything about taxes, or getting a job. But let me tell you I sure as heck know how to lease a car.... can’t wait to get a job so I can do that. My year of culinary training, under 4 red seal chefs has gotten me not one job. No matter how perfect you are for the role is you will ALWAYS get an entry level position first. (In my experience at least) and they are completely right, references are 100% key. I have a first shift tomorrow (wish me luck) that I only got because my chiropractor gave the pancakes house owner his reference. Very weird but I’ll take it. On top of all this winter just sucks, politics have gone nowhere in years, and if you don’t live in the major cities of Quebec, BC, or Ontario it’s going to be even harder. Plus living in Manitoba is odd cause people always call it “friendly Manitoba” but everyone (including me) is always frustrated. Needless to say I’m in the process of researching new place to move to, most likely in Europe cause America has all the same problems. (But worse)

This video only need to be two seconds here’s how I’m going to conclude it Canada has better health care the us have a really bad health care system USA has more crime more expensive if Education and overall Canada is a better place to live and the us sucks even if I wasn’t Canadian I would probably say that Canada Is better

WELL AT LEAST SHE CNTRIBUTED BY PAYING TAXEX.HAS ANY LOWYER OFFERED TO HELP HER PRO BONO LIKE IT WAS IN THE CASE OF THE SO CALLED ROYAL FAMILY? Of COURSE NOT SHE IS NOT RICH OR ROYAL.THE SYSTEM SUCKS BIG TIME. SHE EVEN GOT HER OWN CLEANING BUSINESS IN HERE THE ROYALS HAVE NOTHING IN THIS COUNTRY YET OUR GOVERNMENT IS GOING OUT OF ITS WAY TO HELP THEM BECOME CANADIAN CITYZENS BUT HARD WORKING PEOPLE THAT HAS CONTRIBUTED TO THIS COUNTRY DOES NOT DESERVE A SECOND CHANCE.I HOPE SHE STAYS.

I have no remorse for these ppl. I had to suck it up, work hard and fulfil my physical presence requirement to become a citizen. If you don’t want to live here, renounce your PR and go back to your country. Unfair to those who wants to be here.

THX let them go...so Canada can pay to ship them home, where they can work on their own county not sucking of others! ?

leave it to the CBC to put out this video that we all know is lies. We can go directly to the government websites and see for ourselves how much these illegals get. We also know that they are being put up into hotels at taxpayers expense while our own Canadian citizens get kicked out onto the street so they can be treated like princes and princesses on Canadian taxpayers dime. Suck a crock that you promote these lies to try to convince us taxpayers aren't on the hook for all this stuff.

Sucks that I go inside an Indian store with my family and people stare and the nerve to ask if my Guyanese husband is the father of my children. I am light skinned Hispanic and my kids took after me with skin colour . Just mind your own business. He ignorance of some people. Peterborough is better .

I feel bad for his innocent children to have to go through this. You want to live in another country, you need to follow the law like every else. You learn the language, get the same I.D. We all have to have , and be treated the same as if any American were to illegally cross boarders! What we have to go through just to have identification here should be no different for anyone else! You can’t just live off our tax dollars and government ins., food stamps etc.. While we pay for you to live here!! I don’t reap those benefits, yet I’m paying yours!! I can’t feel bad! When I go to a dr. Or dentist and an immigrant or a lazy able bodied parent gets everything done free and I’m struggling to pay with full ins.. I literally walk out so pissed off! These are straight facts!! He had fifteen years to make it right. Instead he took a shot doing it his way to reap the American benefits and the feel bad for me card!If they ever let him come back and he collected any kind of help in those last fifteen years, “if” , he should have to get proper I.D., citizenship, and pay back anything he was given! It’s only fair! He was able to save all that money tax free, hmmm must be nice! I don’t feel bad he had to spend it. That’s real life!I’m tired of watching my citizens no matter race or color, work hard paying taxes and giving their hard earned money away!!If we just let anyone walk right through our boarder than what’s the point of any American needing any I.D.??? The problem with these people is Most of them get involved in Politics they abuse the system by saying the father was deported so they can suck benefits from the tax payer and state when in fact the father is working and with the family another thing is that they run from communist socialist corrupt Nations and come to our countries to vote for the same policies they ran from .I feel for these people i really do but why didn't he go threw protocol and what about the people who been waiting for years doing it the right way .

What no FREE money, housing, education, vehicles, licensing, food, healthcare, free get out of jail cards, cellphones? Damn this country sucks! Going back to USA ASAP!!!!

I'll lay it out for you: Me: typical middle of the road liberal oriented Canadian. Non white, immigrant (I wasnt born here) I worked in a Refugee housing for over 4 years in Ontario. Most were not war areas refugees (Yes I know there are other types of refugees). I only encountered few refugees from war areas. ONLY 1 person from Iraq, about 2 families were from Afghanistan, 1 couple from Pakistan(I doubt they were real refugees they spoke fluent English, maybe political refugee), and a most from African countries. Its too far for real refugees to get here. Its Easier for them to go to other countries nearby or Europe. MOST SEEM TO BE ECONOMIC REFUGEES. Most were coming from Africa. Some are coming from Latin America, which shouldn't be happening. Once they showed up at our doorstep and we processed them into the system, they were immediately in the same class as a Canadian resident homeless person if they were making a refugee claim. We get money to house and feed them (from the government), and they are given a stipend for basics from the government processed through the Social Assistance/ Welfare system (they get less than a resident/citizen I think.). They then have to get their case processed by the refugee board, and most seem to get in. I've only heard of few getting sent back. One person I know at our facility, was given a subsided social housing apartment after a year in our facility. So they went straight from a shelter to a government/city owned subsidized apartment. (Didn't seem like it was a issue for the housing worker...they didn't report it (if they were not the ones that helped the person to get it), they were white, the housed person was Latin. This refugee claimant, and then month or two new Canadian resident person was given an apartment in a prime area of the city, instead of the 1000's of Canadians, those who came before them, and born Canadian citizens on an extremely long waiting list. How this was allowed to happen I don't know. The person was probably sucking on someone's straw. I'm just trying to think the barriers these people have to go through to get a job here. We are far removed from the time of the 80's and 90's., and housing and jobs are so hard to get. Lol the "Canadian government asks them to repay the traveling cost to Canada if they are sent back"....I wonder how much the government recoups?.....more like 0 probably. What a bunch of crap. How do you demand someone to repay their flight cost when they get back to their country?

Oh great. This was posted on my birthday. Listen: i've lived here for nearly 15 years. \nFirst thing I noticed when I came here was the diner. Menu was pages and pages and pages. A plate could feed a family of four. \nGet a job with healthcare. It's not so difficult. Come on now. Obamacare has to go! \nCoworkers of mine can't afford it. \nYou are still far too liberal/socialist.\nOh, and right... i couldn't dare live without my Amazon Prime. \nHealthcare SUCKS in Canada. In the US it is GREAT.

8:20 I know it's because they're racially profiling them and that's bad, of course. BUT I wish employees from Best Buy would offer to help me that fast. Every time I go, either I bug someone to help me, OR I have to figure it out for myself. Best Buy just seems to suck in the customer service department.

Isn't Shahreeyah a foreign nation's constitution? Either that foreign nation is so horrible and they had to leave because their man made Shariah law sucks, or they're on a crusade and favor it over the Canadian constitution. Must have lied from behind the mask when they gave the oath of citizenship. Other than that I guess they're okay as people, because they're humans too, but if they want Shahreeyah, they can go back to the hellhole they came from.

What a subtle way by the CBC of saying your restaurant isn't closing down because of your skin color, its because your food is too overpriced and the service sucks. The Chinese restaurant across the street is still going strong.\nStop pulling out the race card for everything.\n\nI'm not saying saying racism doesn't exist in Canada but saying your business is failing because you're black even though other minorities in the area aren't being discriminated against? Maybe you should reevaluate your service, pricing, and quality of the product instead.
