I don’t understand what is the connection with white people going junkies and immigrants successfully settling there. Mostly those junkies complaining about immigrants because they need some kind of target to blame for their failures . Also Canada’s immigration policy to be blamed for this. They left loopholes for non skilled uneducated people , criminals who are eloping from authorities and terrorists to migrate and they are showing their true self there once they feel comfortable. Canadian multiculturalism has changed. It used to be you came here and became a Canadian... While still bringing in bits from where you came from. Canada is not taking advantage of population increase. See in another perspective, if Canada improves their high speed trains and buses, more people will visit more places, dying mining cities will revive etc. If you can reach within one to two hours from far cities, people working in Toronto will look for far places to live. Regarding Brampton, our councillors don't know what is needed for this City. Go and check Kennedy Road from Queen Street to Steel. There is no development. No university in Brampton. Unless it has changed. \n\nAlso, it’s IMPOSSIBLE to get permanent residency before graduation because you need Canadian experience (full time) for at least 1 year in specialized areas. \n\nOnly if you successfully complete your program you get the full time work visa per 3y. In this time it’s going to be possible TO APPLY for permanent residence. \n\nBut not only that. Canadian experience give you extra points in the immigration program, but also a Bachelor’s degree, or a master degree, work experience in your back country, English level, and age. \n\nI don’t know for certain countries if the rules are different, but as long as I know, it’s the same for everybody. \n\nWhen I came as an international student, I had to prove the college was paid, also show I had enough money to support myself for 1y without work. Also, the program at college that costs $4000/semester for a Canadian student, it costs $8-10.000 for an international student. \n\nMy work visa (during college) allowed me 20h per week working only. \n\nTo get my study visa approved I had to show intermediate English, money, work experience, Bachelor’s degree (I have also a master’s), and explain why I wanted to study in Canada and why that program was related to my current career. \n\nTalking about jobs; I have worked as a housekeeper in a hospital (on weekends). Other nationalities that worked with the East Indians complained constantly about working at Amazon with them. I saw Indians pooping on beaches in PEI and NB this summer and throwing garbage everywhere. Now they are protesting to stay when their visa's have expired. They complain about school and housing, but at the same time, exploit food banks and take up entire neighbors up degrading land value with their crime and trash. Then whenever you interact with them, they are rude, speak quickly and do not learn to adapt to our way of life. Instead we get more protests and violence. Indians abroad are responsible for billions in fraud and mismanagement across many sectors, and Indian government openly hamulated Canada on several occasions. On the count of immigration to Canada, more then 2/3 are coming from India and many are unvetted. Indians are not global people, they are not friendly or adaptable. Taking advantage of our hospitality and complaining when they stop getting that treatment pretending it's not their fault. Indians should go back to India and fix whats going on there. Get better schools, and have better manners. You have generations of youth who are very rude and dirty. I wish everything I said wasn't true, but with many personal experiences and others sharing, we have found the same is true about all of this many times over, in a span of 10 to 15 years. As an Indian myself, i highly respect the decision taken by the Canadian government since sooner or later this decision was gonna be made just like in Australia. These borders are opened to study further, and eligble people only should be considered to get permanent residency who would contribute the foreign land with good skills like Doctors, Engineers, and so forth, not just for menial jobs. For the sake of an easy citizenship, there is a huge trend to go Canada for Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis. They are not ready to upgrade their skills while studying abroad, and return home to contribute to thier own nations, while they just want to live there, yet still complain we face unemployment. Some of my nation students, unfortunately, don't even know how to speak English properly and pay a huge amount to their agents to go abroad. This is a good decision for them, but a sad decision for those who genuinely want to study in some good courses and wanna get into white-collered jobs.

Canadians are homeless, jobless and struggling to survive. Years of overpopulation by our currant government has resulted in Canadians becoming second class citizens in their own country. Stop ALL temporary visas, be it for students, workers, etc until Canadians can once again stand on their own two feet. I dont care where all these temporary people come from but it needs to stop. Already universities are complaining of losing business but who cares. Where are universities when Canadians are sleeping in boxes on the ground. Stop it all for a period of 2-5 years. Our homes which should be used by young couples to raise children and build communities are being occupied by up to 10 at least young international students and the communities are being eroded.

Im moving out of germany, one of the main reasons are, besides taxes and language, etc that people complain about:\n\n1. Worst food in the world, if you don’t eat fast food you will starve, I need to cook my own meals every single day because there is absolutely nothing decent to eat. Only things I can eat here are schnizel and sushi. \n\n2. Unless you come from a rich white country (USA, Australia, Canada, Japan…) you are not allowed to drive unless you do the test etc again even though as a tourist you can drive. This is just a plain racist law. Uber also sucks in Germany because they over-regulated it. So you cannot get around if you don’t live INSIDE a big urban center.

What this video doesnt address is why arn't german young people getting skilled for these in demand jobs? Aging population cannot be the only factor. I have my own personal experience with living in germany, and feel the video tries to diminish the severity of the issues. I can relate to all the comments: xenophobia, neighbors literally spying on you and complaining to the authorities, unnecessarily complicated paperwork, the great free medical care? waiting times for care are months and months long! You will never be integrated even if you speak the language, you will always be a foreigner and not accepted. Similarly, i left for the netherlands - it was like night and day and have been here for the past 10 years. There are challenges here as well - eg. housing crisis, but the people and environment is a lot more positive.

I agree, if you don't like it here, you should leave. However, the challenges we face in Canada are not unique to our country. It's easy to believe the grass is greener elsewhere, but I'm willing to accept both the good and the bad, and I haven't lost hope that we can fix Canada from within. Of course, this requires believing that change is possible and being willing to contribute in any way you can. Frankly, I find your attitude defeatist. You're happy to enjoy the good times, but as soon as things get rough, you're ready to leave. Most of the problems listed do exist in several countries.\nIf you are an immigrant in a country for work focus just on that and try to move out when you are done. (Due to declining population Germany isn't prioritizing such people)\nIf you are an immigrant and planning to settle in the country for good then you need to invest and learn their system, culture etc..\nIts not easy or pleasant at first but you need to go through that for your future in that country.\nStop complaining and make the best out of it.

I am a returning German, after 36 years abroad, and the greatest impact on me is how little friendly most people are, limited sense of humor, rigid closed mindset, and so much complaining. It’s even more frustrating when it’s your own country. I don’t know if it was always like that, but then I was a teenager. Of course, there are great people but what I mean is the general air specifically when you just arrived. The low wages and high taxes of course do not help, but I don’t think that’s the full story.

They are talking like they are not immigrants themselves , 99% of all the people come from somewhere else and are not indigenous so have no right to complain.
