As a European having lived in both Canada and the United States for prolonged times, my view is this: Canadians are basically the same as Americans but with Health Care. Within two weeks I was in surgery where they took out everything they needed to and I was told that I have good margins. I then had six weeks of radiation. Five days a week for six weeks.\n\nSo about nine months after that and that healing, I had a referral to a plastic surgeon. She reduced my other breast so that I was even. That was about eight months ago.
