Trudeau has messed up our wonderful country. \n\nBrampton, unfortunately, is not the only city that is affected. I have lived in Milton for 15 years, and it used to be very multicultural . I used to love stepping outside my door, going to my church, walink around the town, going to shop and seeing all different races and nationalities. In the past four years, the demographics have drastically changed, and now they are taking over Milton. I don't see multiculturalism in Milton anymore. Makes me feel like an outsider in my now country, where I was born and raised.

Immigrants going to the western countries. What do they do next…\nMake settlements… Make big ethnic colonies… make money… send back to their countries.. sees lot of issues like drug addicts, mafias… tries to take the things in their control… become the majority…. Change the culture… Form the government and take full control of the western land from the westerners and make them feel like immigrants.\n\nWait!! Have we seen these sort of things with much more intensity and utter cruelty in the past!!!! Hmmmm!!!! \n\nLet me tell a brief story!\n\n«  « Part 1: My king we need to increase our wealth and improve the economic condition. The king asks the council, ‘so what can we do’. The councilman suggests to explore other parts of the world, make settlements & establishments, steel the wealth, enslave the people, so that we can be lazy and enjoy our lives. The king says, ‘It sounds fun and interesting, let’s enforce it’.\n\nPart 2: Many ships sail all across the world, and found many lands for their quest. Upon reaching the shores, they started saying ‘Hey dude! We were passing by and thought we could rest here for a while.’ The natives are very welcoming and treat their guests with utmost respect, gave place to stay, put food on their plates, shared the roof so that they can be comfortable. After few days, ‘Hey dude! We think we could trade and do business’. The natives as usual, without knowing the real intention, agreed to them with goodwill and great heart. A few more days later, ‘hey dude! You guys or not competent enough to govern your self. So we will take the charge moving forward’. The natives were astounded with these actions. \n\nWhat happened next was the darkest periods in the history.\n\nPart 3: My king!! Mission success!! There you go with ships full of different form of wealth, materials, valuables, spices, and most importantly hard working men as slaves & women for our ***** needs. Those who turn against are imprisoned, beaten, tortured and killed for fun as they can never become the wealth. \n« « \n\nThis went on for centuries until the colonizers extracted till the last drop of the wealth. And, guess what, they didn’t want the natives to live in peace. So they made sure to land mine enough troubles to ensure that the natives live in hell for the rest of their generations and always be a third world nation.\n\nWhat else they did… \nWhich religion do you practice you brown rubbish… ‘we follow …. ‘ no no no, you are going to follow this *** moving forward.\nWhich language do you speak… ‘we speak ….’ No no no, moving forward you will speak E****, S*****, P*****, F*****. And for every other things.\n\nUnfortunately, what the colonizers didn’t foresee is that someday, the same natives would overcome all the hurdles with their hard work and determination to overshadow the colonial past, and to succeed past the so called colonizers.\n\nIf the Brits hadn’t colonized India, probably Indians wouldn’t be immigrating to Western English speaking nations. Most likely they wouldn’t have learned English. Oh wait, if they haven’t colonized any part of the world, we wouldn’t have seen these English speaking western countries and have no problem with the immigration issues. \n\nCan we change the past??? Unfortunately, nope! But karma always kicks back in. What was done in the past, comes back 10 folds in the future.\n\nLast thing I want to say is that I no way means to support the bad things. I believe that we are all humans, not that being white is a privilege and being black as underprivileged, undermined,………It was funny to see in the video that people still differentiate and being proud for being white. Being a brown person is in fact a good thing medically. \n\nWe all need to find means to live in harmony and not create nuisance or bother others, be it an immigrant, outsider, natives, local, westerners…..\n\nLet’s make the world a better place to live in peace and harmony. After all we are all the children’s of Mother Earth✌️ \n\nOne World, One Earth, One Nation, One Homo Sapiens. ??

About study visa, 45:01 how does it event make a difference , to submit it 2 days before entering Canada ,both ways waiting for the approval within Canada or outside Canada it makes no difference..they can reject as well as they can approve it, I dont see the benefits to that

So basically the differences are minor. No wonder many foreigners think of Canada as US 2.0. Because if you need to differentiate Italy from Austria, the difference is obvious: different language, different culture, different architecture, different traditions. You won’t see that in US and Canada. And no one cares what forms of government these countries have. That’s not what makes you a distinct nation. No one thinks of Italy as Italy because of its government, lol.

I'm from P.E.I and when i was growing up, Charlottetown looked totally different than now.. you could walk around all day and see 0 homeless/druggies and perhaps 6 poc besides natives..

I have nothing against different cultures coming to Canada, but lately all I see Indian employees in all stores

There is a difference of imigrants coming to Canada and adopting Canadian values. From what I am seeing now as imigrants bringing their old hate. Supplanting Canadian values and laws.

To all those people saying the Indians took your jobs. You’re full of crap. Tons of work in this country to do. You are just too lazy to look for the right one. As much as I dislike seeing some of them making a bad name for the rest of Indians. The ones I know are very well educated people who come here to work. I’ve never seen a homeless Indian or one walking downtown drugged out of their faces. Every crack head and homeless person I see in any city in this country is straight up white, including the ones in your video. Go figure. Also, what you feel now is what the natives felt when you white folks came over, only difference is that nobody is rapping or killing your kids and separating families. God bless you all.

I'm born in the UK to Serbian parents, but grown up in Norway so I've seen three different cultures in my life all at once. I always liked Canada for being diverse because then I wouldn't have to switch between being English, Serbian or Norwegian, I could be more me because I am basically multicultural. For years I've idealised Canada and it wasn't until just two weeks ago that I got to visit and see for myself what Canada is like. I was in Toronto and also in Vancouver visiting a family that moved there from the UK I hadn't seen since I was a kid. I loved the nature (Especially Vancouver my god!) and the people, but I learned about how extremely expensive housing in Canada is to the point that it would be hard to make ends meet just renting a place let alone buying a house. Also how immigration is out of control and those who do come to Canada are disproportionately from one country being India rather than many different, which is not good for maintaining diversity. This is something I saw having lived most of my two weeks in Mississauga just south of the airport.\n\nI hope you guys finally get someone better in the next election, because I have more hopes for Canada than I do for the UK. I went to what was considered the most multi cultural high school in north america. Had Greek, Portuguese, Italian, Chinese, Indian, Ukrainian, Polish friends - it was awesome! But that’s multicultural not mono cultural. Everywhere I go I see Indians. Again not racist just would prefer different cultures not one. Wont be voting for Trudeau hope Polivierre has a plan

I bet another reason the government would rather have rentals is they usually pay twice the property taxes that homeowners do. That can amount to tens of thousands a year difference in tax revenue for each and every property on a street. Sad but true.....\nStill I have to agree with the high immigration numbers. It seems I've always had a general idea of what a Canadian looks like but the past years I'm regularly seeing people that look Chinese, Indian, African, Arab.... all kinds of ethnic looks calling themselves Canadian. The only reason India is lacking behind is because of it's abundant population and it was not blessed with self rule up until 1947 which kind of derailed it's progress by years thanks to European Colonization and discrimination. \nJust as an example for folks who are ignorant to see India as a third world or poor or poorly run country - \n* The way India handled Covid for 1+ billion people is something close to impossible for Canada with a meagre population of around 40 million. \n* You don't have to wait for months or weeks for normal checkups, MRIs, doctors and so on. \n* You don't have to pay $50+ per month for a meagre 10-30gb data instead it's less than $4 per month for 1-2gb/day data (yes per day)\n* The military budget of India is 66 billion dollars while Canada's is a meagre 26 Billion dollars.\n* India is capable of launching advanced missions in Space and has single handedly indigenously created aircrafts to land in moon and space exploration.\n* India has home grown automobile companies like Tata Motors (which owns Jaguar and Land Rover), Mahindra and many more while I don't see any homegrown automobile companies in Canada.\n* India has more than 170 billionaires while Canada has around 70.\n* India's richest people won't even bother to invest in Canada because it's not a viable market, but the economy in India is booming and will continue to do so.\n* Despite the population the country is managing in such a way that Canada can only dream off. Just because you had the privilege and the means to be developed does not give you the right to demean other nations. It's really nothing that you did, it's just pure luck, right place, right time, white superiority, destruction and so on which enables you to live such privileged lives and now you are crying when people are actually working hard to provide some competition.\n\nDon't you think regardless of race or ethnicity, every human being deserves the best life? \n\nBefore you judge a country do some research. \n\nYes, the people in general have a different thought process where in prominence is not given to space, way of living, probably you can put it up as standard of living and the quality of thought process. But that's always the case with generalization. I know it's hard not to when you see it, but being a better human is all about thinking beyond that. Yes people in India are general prone to having a shortcut process, at the same time, highly skilled people are abundantly present. In the information sector and other highly skilled areas, they are present earning loads of money which reverberates to more tax money for the government. \n\nI know that they have major issue with absorbing the host country culture and I believe that can probably or maybe alleviated by having some cultural programs so that they can fit into the society so that the Canadian culture is upheld. It's always difficult to see changes around you and your home being in your words being raided by foreign entities. Guess what? The world is filled with different ethnic groups. Hundreds of years ago all your native homes were part of the indigenous people here and they didn't even have time to complain or lament online when the Europeans butchered them and massacred their homelands, claiming the land and setting up as their own. Now you are in a position to call something your home and we all know what all your ancestors did regardless of how good you are right now. The least you can do is not comment such provocatively online against other ethnicities or is this atrocity still there in your blood. It's very simple. Try to think beyond frustration and be grateful for what you have. \n\nBy the way I can write more but I don' think it's worth my time but maybe positive things can happen if you put your mind into.

You keep describing it as an “infamous” ethnic enclave, kind of like when Oppenheimer says “Lewis Strauss was once a lowly shoe salesman”. It’s just an ethnic enclave. It’s not really that different from Scarborough, it just hasn’t been amalgamated with Toronto yet.\n\nI’m not pro-immigration, I think we need to sort out this cost-of-living issue by any means necessary (including limiting immigration if need-be). But you could walk through my city and interview people who would tell you that its dangerous, drug-ridden, gone downhill etc. and we’re still fairly white. I feel like a lot of what you’re seeing has as much to do with urbanization as immigration.

Back in my days, our parents would beat the shit out of us if we did something bad. Unpopular opinion: I can see both sides. It's been done many times, where delivery drivers pretend not to have change so that they can keep the difference of the cost. It's a scammers way of cheating you out of more money and putting it in their pockets. However, now that being said, the camera man's constant and overwhelmingly verbal degrading was unnecessary

When I moved to Toronto 20 years ago, it was more pleasant and people in general was polie and good manners.\nFor the last 10 years and especially the last 5 years, it’s worst and worst.\nDon’t expect someone say Hi to you in your building. Exception, if you have a pet.\nNo one will look behind in case there’s someone for the door.\nEveryone stuck with his community, don’t expect to have discussions with people if you’re not form the same community .\nTake the subway, you see people put their own bag in an empty seat. \nAnd people with feet on the seat.\nIt become a very selfish city, only for me, me, me.\nI travel in differents parts of the world and, Toronto is the most unfriendly city.\nExpensive for apartment, insurance, groceries, cost of living.\nHope it will change again but I have no hope and I prefer to be away as much as I can or move away\n\n.

Yes, the Canadian way of doing things is really different. In Canada, we are the slowest, least efficient, and most resource-wasting management systems. Look at the police on the street: when they see someone committing a minor driving offence, they stop in the middle of the street blocking almost all street lanes to put out a show of power to everyone disregarding how the police is creating heavy traffic wasting other people' time, energy, money,and fuel. This is just one example. No offience, but this is the country of the dumb.

Jobs, housing,health,loans education, goes to people who never put money or effort in this country. Most of them see Canada as the sidechick. 1:53 I think many Canadians would disagree on that. There are enough people around the world who would like to come to Canada that in a relatively short time, native-born Canadians who may have lived in a community their entire life can be quickly overrun when we have numbers like these entering the country. The numbers of people coming from the same country meet up with others from their homeland & find it easier to remain within that clique than to actually shed some of their old lives & Canadianise. Those who do Canadianise are disparaged as selling out by their ethno-cultural community. So we just end up with a multi-tiered society of different people quietly avoiding each other & living in constant distrust. It gets even worse when they bring their Old World prejudices here, as we have seen in places like Toronto & Montreal. It's safe to say that people on both sides of the Israel/Palestine conflict see themselves as Canadians second - at most. They don't look upon people from the other side as fellow Canadians, because they don't see any fellowship in their Canadian citizenship. It's just a stamp on the back of their hand that gets them to this relatively safe country when things get bloody in their homeland.

I think this video generalize too much. It’s like this guy asked 3 person what they think about a whole country and made a video about it. I’m Canadian, I just bought a house for 100k. I graduated from college with 0$ student debts. I had back problems that are now gone and paid 0$ for it, and i absolutely never waited more than 2 hours at the hospital. I’m living in a peaceful community between mountains and the ocean. I totally love living in Canada and i legitimately cannot comprehend the hate about it. I worked in a lot of different Canadians cities with different communities and everyone has good things to say about our country. I travel a lot and when I see how life is elsewhere, I’m always glad to be back home.

Nice video. I watched it as I like to learn from other perspectives.\n\nI was born in Toronto, and I must say, this “no time for life and fun” is a new thing. This lack of access to health care is a new thing. I agree with your assessment. It now seems lonelier in Toronto. \n\nCanada used to be different because anyone with a good job could afford at least a condo, but life became unaffordable not just for immigrants, but for everyone unless you are in your 50s-60s and own a home. \n\nI have friends working double jobs supporting family back home in other countries, but for some of them the family back home sound like they are doing better than them and own a home. It’s like they are sacrificing their life to be in poverty or full of hardships and their families get to go out for dinners and drinks with friends. Not them. Not true for everyone, but for some yes and I worry about their own retirement because retirement in Canada without lots of savings means you might be homeless or forced to live with family even if it’s not your preference. \n\n without investments and savings, it will be hard to beat inflation. Getting into debt and getting bad credit can mean not getting an apartment. \n\nThe birth rate is going down because it is expensive to have kids and income isn’t enough to match with living costs. Getting help from government is really not something everyone gets access too. One person might get housing support, 10 others may get nothing. Different governments offer different things. Programs end and change often. \n\nIn Canada definitely bargain and shop around for good phone plans. one idea is to get a pay as you go until “Black Friday” then every year or two when your good offer expires there will be many others. It’s the time with the best deals saving almost half. For instance, I have 50 gigs for $25 for two years from a large provider. Telephone companies are the one place where people must bargain and even ask for better deals as a must.\n\nThe people you see living in big houses, will have kids that can’t afford the same. This is because prices keep rising. The system protects the very rich, but will also drain the middle class often within 1-2 generations. Do not link your business to your personal finance, or creditors can take your home. Some not knowing this lose everything and rich people know better. \n\nPeople live until they are very old, so inheritance is pretty much meaningless to rely on, so no matter what your parents have you must hustle in life. \n\nI do think Canada can become what we want over time. Citizens need to fight the trend of great community spaces, restaurants and bars going out of business and dumb corporations move in with bad boring restaurants. Like a McDonald’s where maybe a popular cultural hang out was. \n\nPart of the problem is a lack of mixed income housing areas, so it’s hard to stay living where you grew up. Artists and musicians help make a city great, but many cannot afford to live here.\n\nFamilies and communities staying together means more support for those with young kids and older relatives when they need help. Yet how is this possible in a city that is always pushing out lower income people when wealthier people desire the area. \n\nIn Toronto, every time you move you have to take what is available and that might mean moving an hour away from everyone you know. This weakens communities. Plus, if you live too far from your work you will have no time to socialize for most the week due to travel time. \n\nI think those who grew up in Toronto do have a certain culture of acceptance with others from many cultures, because your friends at school were from all over. But with new migrants sometimes it isn’t until the second generation that their social circles get diverse. This can be isolating and it’s even isolating as those from Toronto eventually leave dreaming of staying in one spot and not forced to move constantly when a landlord investor sells every house you move into. \n\n\nToronto really needs to protect affordability of housing for at least some housing in every section so that people can save money if they live in the city, and not have to leave their communities and be far from their friends and family. \n\notherwise eventually people get sick of the hustle and it’s too tiring to travel 1+ hrs each way to visit someone during Monday to Friday. \n\n20 years ago any professional could at least buy a condo. Not today. There is too much competition now and investors are allowed to buy up all the most affordable housing that once was a pathway to owning a home. \n\nRich policy makers got greedy and destroyed canada and hopefully diversity in leadership will help make Canada better. But they perhaps people knew to Canada can reject this lonely structure and help us rebuild Toronto into an amazing place. \n\nWe need to make sure everyone can afford housing with 30% of their income. I think that will help

I get that thats the better option, if that was an option. You have a possibility to save jews out of their concentration camp, regardless how cruel the nazis are, you take it. I see very limited difference between the situation of gaza and that of the holocaust, only now america is actively helping the nazis. Decriminalization is terrible. Why? It worked everywhere they gave it time to.10 years at least to see a change. Be patient and look up what that entails. I bet you some parents who lose children to fentanyl have a different opinion or are people just ignorant?

Im sorry but they should in no way be allowed to cross just for opportunity. Asylum is different than opportunity. Those seeking asylum are different than those that see opportunity. We can't handle school's doubling in size and job's are not that easily found. I think if you want to come to America you should do it the right way. even canadian medical system is getting worse and worse. \nwalk in clinic doctors dont wanna see patients \nI visited 3 different walk in clinics and they all said no\nWhen i visited Toronto one homeless guy tried to hit me, boyfriend and our friend. \nthe homelss guy told us to leave his park so we did and 5 mins later the same homeless guy was hitting one of the bikers in the driving lane. My parents immigrated to Canada years ago and had a completely different experience. It's kinda sad to see how things have changed.

High cost, crimes, expensive houses, and low pay jobs, you see that in U.S, here in Dominican rep. and a lot of other countries, idk why canada gotta be any different.

After visiting india last december I'm seriously thinking of moving back. The differences that lured you to move to the west is getting slimmer and slimmer every day. You see India changing , roads infrastructure, internet . If you can get a good enough job back in India is it worth moving abroad? \nThe work life balance you gain by working in the west is actually a trap. You have to do a lot of chores by yourselves whereas in India you can hire someone easily to do it for you.

India brings a complete opposite religion, language and ideology to foreign countries. It’s the Indian the does not participate in community activities, and integrate into a true Canadian national identity. This refusal has ultimately resulted in Indian being discouraged and quickly blaming others for the problem they have. If rent in downtown Vancouver on the 25th floor is to expensive, maybe try moving to more rural communities in Canada, where costs are different in living. If you come from a poor punjab province in India whereas you’ve sold the farm to come , then don’t expect a downtown Toronto sky rise , 1500 square foot 17th floor underground heated parking, to be the dream destination of your vision. It’s comparable to moving from the punjab to downtown Delhi and expecting the same cost comparisons to the punjab. Unfortunately it’s not sad to see the Indian people go. Hopefully Canada will begin immigration of more cultural like minded people and more people that have religious alliances, than some completely opposite ideology than a Canadian nationalist.

I'm from India and was in Indianapolis on work for one month. I thought i'll go nuts from the sheer lack of human contact. Practically nobody to talk to, the roads are empty, the streets are empty. If you start a random conversation with a guy in the street, he totally freaks out. Maybe it's different in other places but man it was very very depressing and i just couldn't wait to fly back. Of course, i love American people and they are very warm if you know them from before but strangers exchanging pleasantries, that is absent. It would be nice to just see people on the streets but no. Not sure how the kids keep themselves entertained

High home prices and bleak job opportunities have produced a generation of angry isolated people incapable of making friends easily. Being a Vancouver native for 72 years allows me to see your problems from a different viewpoint. You are correct it’s a Vancouver issue about ghosting people that you will not see in Toronto Edmonton Saskatoon or Campbell River for that matter. It’s not a Canada thing just a pretentious west coast attitude.

Its no different to education agents and Australia imo, probably worse here - the number of Indians I see in Sydney with advanced degrees doing menial jobs like uber driver, cleaning or in supermarkets is STAGGERING, i always wonder who lied to them to come to Australia?

It's unfortunate, it's great that we have these other cultures coming in however they have different living circumstances and are perfectly fine living with 4 families sleeping on the floor, land lords see this and increase the price of living making it extremely unaffordable for the average single family trying to find a place
