It’s very sad and sick. What’s happening to people in Canada? It shouldn’t be happening they have to clean it up. I understand people fall in their lives but they gotta realize they need to not give up on life. That’s what happens now. With all the migrants they’re bringing in majority of them Are OK but they gotta bring in people that wanna work learn a trade and work for the lives. This should stop immigration for now. Our system can’t take any more of the stuff in the software for the Canadians that worked hard all their lives to deal with all this and stuff for themselves.

Inflation is higher than what they say.. real estate prices are out of touch with the actual wages and salaries.. cost of food is unbelievable… rent is ridiculous.. Wages are laughable.. taxes are insane.. we are also taxed on so many things on top of income tax such as .environment, carbon, plastic, sugar tax etc… it is insane.. Healthcare is going through crisis… Getting MRI takes ages.. So now they wanna bring 500k in the midst of all this ? It is going to screw us more .. I also feel sorry for the migrants who are moving out here with lots of hope and ambitions… I also feel sorry for us .. stress = mental health issues….. This government screwed each one of us.. what they are doing doesn’t make any sense to me. They are out of touch with reality.. Can’t wait for the election and will never vote for NDP or Liberals.. they surprised me.. My quality of life went from good to bad and bad to worst..I love this Country.. and I want the best for us!!! ?

The problem with immigration is the quality of immigrants, this country still needs quality immigrants to fulfill top level positions, in the recent years Canada got flooded with too many international students for various college degrees, as i’ve heard there are some colleges in Toronto which only has one classroom in a building but they have so many students enrolled ? and bringing in more refugees makes the housing and job situation even worse. On the other hand government had to remove the 20hour work cap of international students to run this economy ?

Flood the country with immigrants and make it unlivable for them. What kind of planning is going on in Ottawa. At least have some plans. Just bring in construction workers then. All they do is bring in PhD holders from third world country and they would never work a blue collar job. There is poor planning from the administration with regards to the economy and immigration.

The US averages more than 1 school shooting per DAY. Tyler, you may say depending on the area, but in 2023 only 1 state (Wyoming) didn't register a school shooting. I am an international student, just wanted to ask Canadian people, why target international students, i am from India, i can guarantee that any Indian student coming to Canada brings at least 100k investment that directly gets used by the Canadian economy. My problem is why target us rather you guys should look for people who are coming to this country like refuse and use candian tax payer money and get all the benefits Canada offers, but us on the other hand we pay taxes like normal citizen. Just ask this question to each and everyone.

BC changed their labour laws to where an employer only has to give 2 hours of paid work in a day and they call that a job. Saskatchewan changed their labour laws to where an employer only has to give 3 hours of paid work in a day and they also call that a job. If employers would get the same kick backs and perks for hiring Canadians then there wouldn't be a need for hiring temporary foreign workers and the illegal immigrants and providing them with housing that Canadians, especially veterans, don't get. Plus the federal government allows China to buy Canadian businesses and all they have to hire is 1 Canadian and after that they can bring in all the Chinese workers they want. That is what needs to be stopped andCanadians would hopefully get a full time liveable wage job and not become homeless.

I am an immigrant myself. I hate what other immigrants are doing in this country. Though it's true Canada needs people to help them SUSTAIN the economy, but it seems like immigration had not seen the effect of bringing too much Indians and Africans in the country, Most of them are not self-aware, they don't follow rules, they neglect people around them.

I can't help thinking that it is part of a bigger plan since the Liberals are part of the WEF and they are totally not even caring about something that is so blatant. Actually it is really simple, the main reason that educational institutes (businesses in reality) and the country have been bringing in international students (whether India or elsewhere) is that *the international students pay 4-5x more in tuition* and so *educational institutes and the country wants to bring them in as cash cows, to milk them for the money!* *They have been using them as cash cows and milking them* There are so many institutes where there is such an imbalance, where 80-90% are international students and the local minority, the reason again is, $$. \n From international students and imgs there is a boost in the economy because of the high tuition they pay and the tax that is collected from that tuition, they spend on rent (crazy expensive as you know) transport, basic cost of living like food etc, entertainment etc, so the economy did benefit from immigrants and international students, but I completely agree that there is way too much influx. It is not good for them nor for the country, as everything has become so expensive, rent and housing affordability is gone crazy, due to crazy demand and low supply. \n So the problem is greed! I totally agree with True North's the Timz example, and the other places mentioned, and I really think that the government should work on affordability, the housing crisis, health care, sustainability, and fair and equal employment.

A good amount of Palestinians wish to go outside of Palestine at least just during this war either to stay and keep their family safe or to go to the hospital or to eat and get a complete and proprr shelter. So i still believe that Arab countries (don’t come at me i’m in Morocco and I absolutely wish that my country gives shelter to the Palestinians ) have a responsability in welcoming Palestinians as war refugees then when it ends do their maximum to bring them back solidify their rights and reconstruct Palestine

There are certainly shortages in the skilled labour force segments; however, bringing in scores of temporary visitors and international students who have no intention to contribute to these segments, there is of no use stretching the resources on these low-skilled burden.

Totally agree with multiculturalism being a serious issue for native Canadians. Why?? Because immigrants are not respecting the values of Canadian forefathers. And now with AI we'll need even fewer workers but it's too late...they're in, and they can now bring in all their relatives. Canada is already gone...I was born and raised in Vancouver and it began right after Expo 86 with China flooding Vancouver. It's all part of the plan...it's planned to collapse. Not once in the history of Canada have we built more than 200K new homes, yet here we are with a 500K per year mandate on new immigrants, with last year bringing in 1.2M? As an employer in a mid-skill company, late 2021 and pretty much all of 2022 were the worst times for hiring. You legitimately could not find competent people. Things have only gotten slightly better since then.\n\nThe problem is that few of the people they're bringing in can fill anything but low skill, minimum wage jobs. They don't have the education for more, their English language skills are questionable, and they often clash with the culture. And worst of all, they are financially supported by the government which provides the double whammy of increasing tax burden while also increasing product demand, which exacerbates the labour shortage.

They should bring skilled Inmigrants with a career path to ensure they not ended up taking advantage of EI and welfare as many do . Fed up of lazy people coming to Canada to abuse the system . As an immigrant myself who came 12 years ago I had to work 2 jobs and study at night French to be able to adapt. When I came I already had a university degree and then did my masters degree here in Canada . At the end it pay off I had a good job now. The main requirement for people coming to Canada should be an university degree at least as in the past . That shows you are able to learn and adapt to new things plus you have knowledge about a specific field .

How bout get all our people working first before bringing all these people in. The infrastructure is not in place for all newcomers. Give your head a shake.
