The health of a country, or the health of an individual which are clearly linked, is dependent on our ability to see ourselves and each other, and make necessary changes to improve in the areas that we lack personally, and as communities in our beautiful country of Canada and other countries as well. So many thousands of bodies of children taken to residential schools from their parents arms and community for over 160 years yet the deep wounds aren’t given compassion by most people anymore and systemic abuse actively impacts them and therefore all of Us . We are all one whether we see people as other’ or not. We’re humans. \n They’re not seen in media unless it’s a bad story yet we’re only now teaching one mandatory class by non indigenous people. Solution: elders teach their grandchildren languages that weren’t erased by genocide and environmental /spiritual cultural practices and lifestyles before they’re gone by paying first people elders and streaming it into all Canadian classrooms so the children can see a future where they’re valued and all Canadian kids can get a full education and learn accurate history. Making canoes, baskets, sacred ceremonies, food growing (that they taught to pilgrims so they’d survive here), etc. No, I’m not indigenous. I’m an immigrant like all but the first people. They’ve an amazing culture that’s been all but lost . When we don’t see ourselves represented in any media, any careers, and start our lives in extended poverty based on our race, and all that was taken still today, it’s no wonder the teen suicide rate for indigenous youth is more than double / triple all non - indigenous youth. The numbers are growing. \nI live in Care due to my physical disabilities . An international nursing student worked for me providing personal care like showers, meal prep etc and over that year, she said she wouldn’t have moved here specifically because of a few things I’ve mentioned. She told me Canada was sold to people in her country of origin as a ‘multicultural’ safe haven without extreme racism still prevalent today and within our history. \n\nI’m ashamed of Canadian government promises for over 100 years that aren’t fulfilled. All children deserve healthy drinking Water and an education. Period. Especially, the ambassadors of this amazing land that they see as themselves without separation. That’s accurate. We will have nothing to stand upon if we don’t protect the earth. It will go on without us. \n\nI see many things in the comments I’ve seen or experienced, unfortunately. This is a beautiful country for so many reasons. Yea Mexico needs to do something. Unfortunately the cartels run the show down there. They have more equipment and weapons than the Mexican army. We need a wall. So be honest, Texas and California should be part of Mexico and if you don’t believe me, go research how we obtain California and Texas if you don’t know we stole them from Mexico and the sad part is it’s the only parts of Mexico that really had real economically rich resources if you look at the rest of Mexico, pretty much 60% of it is uninhabited and that is because there are zero resources or they are just very scarce and it’s impractical to put a society there. That’s why a lot of Mexico lives along the coast line. It’s also why most of Mexico is very poor and the other sad part of reality is it’s the same thing America does. It moves and says it’s helping but in the end, they screw people over and it’s not America. It’s just our corrupted government doing it and the other sad part of that is, if it wasn’t our government doing it, it would be someone else is doing it. If you understood the s*** that was going down in Venezuela, you would be fighting for these people to have Asylum here. Do you know how much of Texas is unoccupied? Like SO much of it. It's not a very densely populated state. It can take years for Asylum Seekers to go through the process legally. Don't they deserve some level of safety while the process is sorted out? And instead we keep instituting policies that make things even more difficult and create even more tension. Nobody is fully in the right here necessarily, but people really need to start approaching this with much more empathy and Humanity. If you guys really have such a problem with all the migrants being in Texas, there's always Wyoming. Nobody lives in Wyoming. There's plenty of space in Texas, of course, since most people live around the Metropolitan areas.... But Texas isn't always known for its warm fuzzies. Wyoming is just Cheyenne and a bunch of wind. I certainly don't see the harm.

The other 95% just soaked up YT and Tik Tok while they make repugnant Baaa Baa claims about the left and right. Just constantly feeding into this division THEY created. There’s underlying parts of our government that fight this, and get people they don’t particularly like in the door. Like the Kennedy’s and Trump but we have no value in voting. Well i give it a very little bit til our streets are all homeless , im on disability and been supposed to be on housing 1st priority, the HUD site lies for human trafficking victims, and disabled getting any kind of housing immidiately i waited finally 18 yrs to be put on the active status of section 8, i heard that they all are getting 2k a month, which this isnt their fault , but Americans on disability dont see that amount they claim ya can , ya maybe at 70
