When it comes to applying for a job, and I think this goes for every part of the world, the first thing they look at is age.\nI've applied to lots of jobs during the last 5 years. I'm a white male, between 40 and 50, and out of 100 applications I've received maybe 20 replies by e-mail and 1 reply by phone. That leaves 79 non responses. \nThat's the way things are today. That's what society has become. That's how we're all looked down upon.\nI know there are some countries in Europe where they ask for a photo on your resume. I would blatantly refuse to add that.

AMAZON CAN SOLVE THE NUISANCE.BUT THERE WILL BE ROOM FOR OTHER....\n\nI BELIEVE WE ARE NOT ALL WELL BRED AND ARE ALLOWED AS CHILDREN TO BELIEVE ASSUMPTIONS TO BE REALITY. WE NEED TO BE CAREFUL HOW WE TREAT OTHERS FOR WHEN THE TIDES TURN HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE TREATED. PLEASE REMEMBER TOO THAT WITH ALL THE GOINGS ON THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO ARE BALANCED AND INTELLIGENT. THERE ARE PEOPLE WITH GOOD HEARTS AROUND. THAT KEEPS THIS WORLD IN THE BALANCE. WE ARE AT PRESENT TIPPING THAT SCALE. UNFORTUNATELY THE OUTCOME WILL BE FAR MORE SHOCKING FOR HUMANS.REALITY IS LIFE. A mere 20,000 sent to Canada last year? We get hundreds of thousands each year in the U.S! The problem in this world is people refuse to take responsibility. It’s always someone else’s fault. If we allow people from other countries to neglect our laws our country will fall as well. Wake up.

Lesson of the story? Don't break a countries laws by entering illegally and then expecting the system to coddle you - try filling out the papers, wait your turn in line and do what you can while you wait, maybe work to improve your home country? That is the only real answer to all these immigration problems, stop blaming the country and peoples you slighted by breaking their laws and take personal responsibility. If you want to roll the dice, sometimes your going to lose.

I did not see “anti-Islamic sentiment” in this reportage. So I'm from a town in Ireland with a small hotel, a few years ago the government bought it and moved immigrants in overnight (literally in the middle of the night). It is still run like a hotel with cleaning services and restaurant but the occupants also receive government income. (meanwhile we are seeing an increase in local homelessness every year) Anyways I recently heard a story from someone who works for social services who collected a woman and her few kids from the hotel to drive them down the road to the new four bedroom house they were being given. When they arrived at the house the woman asked what days the cleaner would be over, the person driving said that she wouldn't have a cleaner anymore this was her house so she would be responsible for minding it. The woman put her kids back in the car and demanded they take her straight back to the hotel. So yeah, hotels may not be the greatest immigration solution.
