I was born in the UK but went to Canada as a young child with my emigrating parents in the early 1950’s. Later we emigrated to the US in 1963. I know I would not enjoy the cold winters of Canada at all anymore if I lived there. I lived in FL for 20 years which I enjoyed except for the hurricanes and rapidly increasing home insurance. I live in North Carolina now where the winter is very manageable. I hope you are able to find a place that meets most of the needs you want to find in a different environment. I am very sorry for what is happening in Gaza and like you I believe it is a terrible Genocide by the Israelis. I am not Muslim and do not belong to any organized religion. I just try to live my life in kindness and with love for others. I love nature, animals and our beautiful earth. May you and your family be blessed in the decisions you are making for your future and very best of luck to you.

On behalf of this white Canadian born woman, I know exactly why you are leaving Canada and I'm so very sorry. I don't want your children to be in danger here either and we all know...they are. It's getting worse everyday. Much love and I pray you have an easy journey.

American here -- I feel powerless in moving the needle in regards to Palestine. Do you have any meaningful resources or suggestions on what someone like I could do to help? I've written and spoken to my representatives, and my church has been raising money for aid donations even though, with Israel's blockade, it's been really hard to know if the help is getting through. \n\nI am so sorry, please know the vast majority of Americans aware of the situation condemn the genocide in Gaza. The mainstream news likes to platform far right Zionists, but most Americans are either opposed to the siege or are oblivious to what's happening.

Sorry guys, all of the reasons that you mentioned except maybe the inflation (which I think is temporary and happening around the world), are the reasons that you SHOULD STAY in Canada. If you leave then you are giving up challenges and trying to find an easy way out. Please remember nothing comes easy and if you leave Canada then you are not going to be part of the struggle to change the mindsets of Canadian society that Muslims can be also accepted in Canada as they are, which may not come during your or your children's lifetime but it will come eventually maybe during your grandchildren or great grandchildren's lifetime and you need plant the seed for that now otherwise there will be no fruitful outcome. It needs lots of patience and initial suffering for a group of minority or downtrodden people to be accepted within the mainstream societly. If the Muslim people start leaving Canada just like you guys then there will be fewer Muslims for this struggle to bring changes in Canadian society. I think you are escapign the struggle and suffering and you guys can affford that but you are leaving many of them behind who cannod afford to leave Canada and it will make their lives even worse and the future generation. You need to look at the bigger picture and and the future. Anyway, this is my personal openion, which you or your audiences may not agree.

Sorry but none of the reason you shared are enough to make you leave your country. I'm a Muslim and I travel the world, today Canada is the best place to be.

I am apart of the lgbtq+ community so I am not sure if I am completely welcome (I just want to peacefully exist with our rights as humans not convert people to the community) but that does not stop me from respecting you, your family, your religion, and your choices of doing what is best for you and your family. I have watched many of your videos and have learned more about your faith (thank you so much for the education). I only wish you the safest of journey and a wonderful bright future for you and your family (along with any others that may make similar journeys or even trying to stick it out in hopes for a better future). #3 was the biggest one (imo) that made me think. I can't imagine what it's like to have to live day to day with those worries and fears about yourself AND your children. As a mother of 3 myself, there is already so much to worry about when it comes to our children, without the added fear of visible religion being added to that. I have never once thought about what it would be like, if I was raised in a religion where it was visible to others, how that would have impacted me, nor have I ever passed a thought as a parent. And for that, I'm sorry. I'm sorry that you have to live with those worries and fears each day. I'm sorry that people of Muslim religion are bullied and targeted on a daily basis. I'm sorry that a few bad eggs, have marked the beautiful people. I may not be Muslim, but I would gladly step in and stand up for a Muslim (or anyone tbh) who was being victimised because of their religion. I truly hope your children never become victims, and I truly hope that y'all are able to find a place with Sandy beaches, lots of sun, a wonderful Muslim community with plenty of free space to worship how and when you need to freely, and the feeling of safety for you both and your beautiful children.

I lived and studied in Canada for 3 years in early 90. Canada was a wonderful country. I am sorry to hear that the society is deteriorating. In my country Indonesia, my students and other young peoples are more religious than when I young. \nI hope you find a country where you can feel at ease and raise your children according to Islam as you wish.

Immigrants flee their home countries because they don’t offer a good way of life. Then turn around and want to recreate the same environment in the new country. Sorry if that’s the way you want to live, go back to where you came from.

So very sorry that you have to make the decisions for those reasons. But totally understandable and yes your kids always come first in life of course but that's so wrong that even though your reasons is of course the right you have to do that cause of what other people believe in and what those people are doing and that your childrens future and present is not what it should be for all you believe in and want them to learn and be. We have all grown up learning to be nice and welcoming, and this has what has led us to this situation today - our streets and cities taken over and our country looking like a slum. As a russian i lived in spain and in the uk, having good salary and position, and i got back to Russia despite the war, cos sorry to say the west is not what it used to be even 10 years ago: healthcare, education , quality of thr population is so low now and more then this its getting worse every year.

With 9 month of experience, I am truly considering going back to my country, here you cannot get a job related to the degree that you have even having 3 years experience with. They will pay the lowest in the low despite the Glassdoor average salary. Add on the high living cost and complex extremely long hiring process, there is no good career path and is all about survival. Sorry to say, but when locals are struggling, I don’t understand why asking foreigners to come… Pretty much many of us and locals are so disappointed+angry+frustrating, this country drain all my saving, I come here to work, not purely let Canada eating all my money. And yes, they said value education, but a degree will not let you to get an entry admin job cus they expected Master degree, lasting many of their systems and 10 years experience. Moreover, if you don’t have a car, the job will not consider you no matter it is an entry position.

Third world country folks will try to land a PR (permanent residency) in Canada (by masquerading as a 'student visa') as a holding ground. Once they obtain it, they will try to move to the USA on a work visa. It's a loophole being exploited by Indians, Arabs, and Filipinos. Non-third world country folks like and Mainland Chinese and some South Koreans & Japanese, will do the same on living in Canada then find ways to move to the USA from Canada. Sorry, but Canada is turning brown. California, New York, New Jersey, Illinois are filled with Indians and middle easterns, and same goes for most of Europe. I've worked with so many Indians and Arabs, after their USA work visa is over, so they move back to Canada and continue to work remote. It's no joke and infested with third world folks.

No offence to new immigrants but if you came here past 2018 you should not be allowed to buy a house until house prices get back to sane levels. I was born in raised in a small town surrounded by farmland in Ontario and the average cost of a home is now 700k. 20 years ago it was 150k. No one I grew up with can afford a home, I'm sorry but Canadians first. Other countries seem to care way more about their own people waaaay more than here. I feel like Canadians are constantly the ones who just have to suck it up. Its absolutely nonsense. Either something has to happen or I, and many Canadians in the same position will leave. Canada sucks at the moment, do not come here! Almost everyone I talk to who is born here agrees, lib, con, ndp, doesn't matter what political party they usually vote for, they want immigration to stop, and homes to be built. We're at the breaking point.
