Our government is useless, prices double and they just act surprised ? They have hearings on why we are being robbed by every single major company in Canada and literally never do a single thing after it’s all just a ruse. These same people own stocks in these companies and just keep doing it. Canadians have been let down by their government so badly it is hard not to call it treason, but it is so bad because we have allowed complete monopoly over certain industries and never controlled them so they feel invincible with the feds invested and such a big market share.

I am a US citizen and think of moving to Canada. Gun violence, homeless on the street, and migrants are hazard to live here. I went to Montreal last summer, staying in Travelodge near Old Montreal. Two nights stay cost me over $500 USD. It is really outrageous as I spent the same amount for a whole week on cruise, including room and all meals 4 years ago. I understand the inflation, but this same hotel usually charged me $200 US dollars in the summer. Now, Canada becomes un affordable to us. ?

I am one of the victims who fell for it got a study permit spent $55000 to go there and got only a certificate and was asked to leave the country after an agency scammed me and messed up my paperwork plus I was living off credit cards for my last few months. Property tax and car insurance make it near impossible to retire in Canada. I Australia You pay ONLY 20% of THOSE CANADIAN PRICES. AND WHEN YOU RETIRE YOUR, BILLS ARE REDUCED SUBSTANTIALLY. They’re leaving because they have to, because they’re on student visas. And government of Canada change the rules for them. And they’re not applying for pr or citizenship because they can’t. Not because they don’t want to.

The headline is wrong. These people they interviewed are not permanent residents. Therefore they can’t apply for citizenships. They interviewed these Indians who were international students. Who come here misrepresenting themselves in their visa applications. Pretending to be students but come here to work and stay. Canadian government put stricter rules on them to crack down on bogus immigration consultancy and colleges that exploit these students. This news segment is not 100 percent clear. It is true there are pr or naturalized citizens of Canada that leave the country to move back to their home country or move to another country but not all are Indians.

Canada has sooo much land but like the man said, it stopped housing development 30 yrs ago. Everyone is concentrated in a few cities when they can develop more land. Citizens should get priority.

As a pakistani immigrant myself, having lived in Dubai, Saudi, and UK, I still find Canada easily the best overall.\n\nWhen it comes to hardships, yes you must have a positive mindset to survive in Canada but ofcourse you pay the price of living your Canadian dream. \n\nIf you are a couple with a household income of 10K take home, you can still live an extremely good life in Canada.
