Wow theres a huge culture shock between financial positions in life. I am originally from Northern On. Average earnings for all of my extended family is less than 60 k combined. Hearing people say that 400k for a home is not bad always confuses me as to how that could ever be viewed as a fair price.

That is a obvious thing that if you are doing good in your home country then why would you leave it? Why for your children? If you can do good then why cannot your children do good as well. There is something wrong in your home country that is why you fear that your children won't be able to do good their. People now days think after moving to a new country they should be able to live the same way and work at same position within 2-5 years on what position they were working in their home country. Which was never the case before. People who came in 70s,80s,90s it took them close to a decade and for many even more to reach some form of stability and it is the same now. You are starting from scratch when you move to a new place. \nComing here, making a life here, still living here and praising your life back home is not the solution. The solution is if you do not like it here you are have your home country to always go to. Simple.

So the Palestinians people have rights? I didn’t know they have rights. I suppose only Palestinians have rights and the Jewish people don’t. Love how they always talks about rights when Palestinians are getting killed for Hamas doing. But the Arab world stay silent when Palestinians cry out about the Hamas treatment to them. Nice.

He identified the problem, but he didn’t address it. This is the case with most Arab countries right now, they don’t want anything to do with Palestine because they don’t want to risk war with USA. It’s a shame this disloyalty is happening considering how Arabs are strong followers of Islam, that says to help each other. I’m a Muslim, not an Arab though, but I always thought Arabs were the purest form of human as they closely following Islam and Prophet Muhammad established Islam in Saudi Arabia. But now it seems as if they are mocking the Quran by not helping.

In the first place, historically speaking, the Palestinians were the ones occupying Israel's land. Israel have been in the same land for more than 4000 years. It was called the kingdom of Israel, where King David and King Solomon once ruled. Palestine did not exist 80 years ago. Jesus Christ, a Jew, was born in Jerusalem, Israel more than 2000 years ago. It has always been the land of Israel!

There is no Palestinian land. It’s a fake made up name invented by the Roman Empire in the 7th century just to try to piss off the jews. It’s always been the Jews land. You want to go to war over it? You will always find yourselves dead.

To be honest. That land has been conquered by so many different armies over the eons. Whomever conquers the land,and defends it, owns it, until another army comes along and takes it by force. If you want it bad enough, go take it, but it will always come at a high price. As in all wars, many lives will be lost. It is always better to find peace, but no Muslim country will ever make peace with Israel.

Sounds great , except , Palestinians have no land . It's called ISRAEL . People can call it Palestine until they're blue in the face , but it doesn't change the fact that the land belongs to Israel and always will .

It boils down to the Liberal Party, which has been in power since 2015, e.g.:\n- high immigration targets and housing/jobs/healthcare/etc can't keep up.\n- decriminalization/destigmatization of drugs (especially in Vancouver)\n- political correctness, censorship, gender ideology, health mandates, soft on some crimes but harsh on thought crimes, etc.\n\nAs for other things like weather and challenges in finding a job, these were always the case but Canada really started to go down when Trudeau became PM.\n\nI migrated with my family as a teen. Parents (engineer and nurse) couldn't find a job in their field. Mom had to start as a care aide while she re-certify as a registered nurse even though she has a masters and taught nursing in a college in the Philippines. Dad had to settle as an appliance technician.\n\nThe 4 of us lived in a single-bedroom basement suite, but we bought a half-duplex in Vancouver in a couple of years, which would be practically impossible these days.\n\nI make a decent amount niw and own 3 properties, but if I have to buy my house at its current market value ($1.9m), I can't afford it. Even that half-duplex, my parents sold it at 6x during a down market years ago.\n\nThen there's crime and drugs: I've worked in the downtown east side of Vancouver since 2006 and the last couple or so years has been really bad - it's like a zombie apocalypse. Glad I work remote and have moved to a suburb around Vancouver. That said, I'm highly considering moving but it's hard with kids and aging parents.

NO, the cost of living in Canada has not *always* been high. For someone as young as this woman that may be true, since people usually say *always* to refer to their own lifespan. When I went to Canada (Toronto) in 1967, it was quite easy to find a one-bedroom apartment for $100-130 . Nothing luxurious of course, but acceptable. Public transport cost 25 cents (!), 5 tickets for $1.00. Working-class salaries were in the range of $100-150 per week. The value of the Canadian dollar was 7% less than that of the US dollar. My wife and I were actors who worked in a children's theatre for $45/week. Slim pickings, but with our approx. $370/month we got along all right, went to the movies, bought records and books,, ate in restaurants from time to time, bought food cheap in the Kensingto Market and got a complete tax refund at the end of the year. There was an air of general prosperity Things have changed drastically over the years, obviously.

Does this apply in all provinces in Canada, or its peculiar to specific provinces, besides what jobs would or could be easily gotten according to provinces? I'm an optimistic person, however, I wana believe that specific provinces might not have the luxury of providing some of the jobs you mentioned here owing to certain factors. Why are they creating somuch problems. In Spain why do they want the gov to ban dogs on public transport. Whether they like it or not when youare in the host country who take you in. A lot of people always fail to mention other provinces outside of Ontario and bc. Cost of living isn't nearly as high in all the other provinces . If you are going to earn under 200k , DONT IMMIGRATE TO ONTARIO OR BC.

Sometimes the answer is right Infront of us but for some reasons we humans always want to complicate things.

There is NO other country I would ever choose to live in. Born and bred here in Canada. Things are broken everywhere. Still believe my country is a wonderful place to live a beautiful, mostly peaceful, non gun hungry population, life. No place is perfect. But we seem to have laws that respect ALL people that are legally here. There is ALWAYS room for improvement. No gonna lie. Again. I wouldn’t live anywhere else.

Why do they insist on the original owners of the land always leaving their lands? Why do the Israelis not return to their lands from which they were expelled in Europe? Isn’t this a solution too?
