The dereliction of duty and greed by Western leaders is everywhere not just in Canada. When having a roof over your head becomes somebody who doesn't even live in your country source of enrichment through real estate stocks, there is no hope for the citizen or the immigrant. But sadly that's the capitalism western nations choose to practice to the detriment of their citizens.

In Canada you can make $300,000 in a couple of months. It depends what you’re into what you can do if it’s legal or not legal but legally you can make $300,000 $400,000 up to 1 million a year if you know what you’re doing and you have the opportunity to do it as a bottom of the food chain your rent is $1000 for one bedroom that you will be sharing with with complete strangers you have winter that it’s six months long it’s like you’re living in North India in the Himalayas mountains and then you have Ray schism all different type of race schism from all over Europe that came to this North American country. They don’t want you to take their job. and take their sister or their wives or anything like that. These people in this country cannot reproduce they’re not reproducing or doing anything they’re into the pronouns they’re not into normal normality otherwise than that the summers are great. They are some decent white people here we have lotta Caribbean people lotta Russians here it’s up to you to come and endure this country. It’s brutal winters there’s a chinook and the Chinook gives you headaches throughout the winter. It’s something different that if you’re from a tropical country. The longer you stay in this country, the lighter, your skin complexion becomes. This is missing SOOOO much of the actual story of what is going on over here. There is a lot of corruption in our housing market fueled by faked incomes just for starters. That's not including the massive supply and demand crunch we are facing on multiple fronts from having too much people suddenly, to having not enough housing suddenly. The banks have been caught f'ing around as well, what with pushing through mortgage requests that should never have been allowed to occur; and that's just what we know about. \n\nNo offense to anyone in this video, or anyone else like them. We know that a good large chunk of most of you are not at fault here with what's going on. But there are some people from all sorts who are all doing their own dirty little deeds, and they are culminating into the gigantic pile of BS that the rest of us now get to deal with. \n\nAnd make no mistake, what I am saying is not even close to the full extent of the BS going on. This is just one facet of it. There still is the universities mentioned that we need to talk about, whom have been fleecing internationals for years now. Or our employers who have gotten real used to having access to basically almost slave labor by comparison the wages and employees they would have to normally deal with. \n\nAnd again, none of this is being said to blame those who come here looking for a better life. If anything, I want to apologize for the BS you found here as well, that was well hidden by the BS masters who got you to come here. \n\nBut just like how oxygen feeds a fire without necessarily meaning to... well... let's just say that a downturn in applications is a really good thing for us right now. \n\nCome if you want, but don't come unprepared. Most in New Brunswick like the low rating because it keeps people from moving here. Well, until covid happened. Because we managed COVID well, over 50,000 people moved here; most from ON, and that sent our housing market crazy. Many home values increased by $250,000 and that has created a housing crisis here because New Brunswickers don't make as high wages as most others. I've been in every province and territory in Canada and they all have there pluses and minuses. Which, is why I find these videos more entertaining then of any real value.

The real problem is Canadian and Provincial governments obsession with taxation rather than investment. All governments all have a spending problem too. \n\nTax our income, tax our after tax dollar that we buy stuff with, tax the stuff we transport goods with, tax the land we live on with after tax dollars, oh yea and let’s tax the money the government rebates us cause that makes sense.

Real Estate Ponzi scheme is starting to show its downside as many parts of the country are becoming too expensive to live. UK is facing similar problems. Australia, New Zealand and Coastal USA will be next.

Well, Indians just want to take from a system they has no inputs in building over decades...good jobs, PR, social services environment etc. Many are not even real students and simply wish to migrate and bring their entire village. And they do that not just in Canada, but almost all developed western countries. Even in countries like Singapore and UAE. Even their companies hire mostly from India.

These people are being told they are welcomed to come, the ones who are lucky to get in realize real quick citizens don't want them. This is animal kingdom stuff taught in early childhood.

As a person living for around twenty years in Canada, the real problem is too much supply of human resources from outside Canada especially from India. This is around 35% and trying to concentrate in certain areas of Canada. This has caused too much burden on Health care, Transportation, housing, and other public services in those areas. Unlike the time I migrated to Canada, all places are now overcrowded. There are not enough job opportunities due to the large influx of students. Thousands of applicants for one job from the day they arrive here. You can get some idea of how many applied on the job site Indeed. This has resulted in companies and job agencies exploiting students by paying low wages and firing them indiscriminately. Therefore, both the Canadian government and the Indian government have a role to play and Students too should be aware of the real situation here.

Regardless of all the mud-slinging in the comments, I strongly advise any prospective immigrants to Canada to consider their situation/ aspirations seriously before making the move to Canada. While Canada is indeed a beautiful country, especially from spring to fall, there is no doubt that it has fallen behind severely in recent years. This is a massively underperforming country and people (Canadians and immigrants alike) are struggling big time. There is a massive leadership problem in Canada, where trivial problems get 99% of the attention. Real problems (which are easily solvable by the way) get little to no attention at all. Either there is very little will or the current administration is simply incompetent. Either way, some structural changes need to happen before Canada can recover.

Depends on where you are from. If you are from a shithole country like India that does not even have footpaths then yes it is worth it to move to Canada.\nIndians who moved to Canada bought houses with any issues like goons (with backing of politicians) occupying their houses. But People who are born and brought up in India are not able to buy plots in outskirts of big cities because they dont know who reliably do verification or how to prevent goons (with backing of politicians) from occupying their plots.\n\nCourt cases about real estate should be resolved in minutes (yes minutes) but it takes decades in India.\n\nSo I repeat, If you are from a shithole country like India that does not even have footpaths then yes it is worth it to move to Canada.

All of Canada is totally fcked, for such a big country they for sure don't have enough real estate for people to live. I remember back in 90's the rent for nice 2 bedroom apt was 400 here in Kitchener, that was 40% of the full time minimum wage at the time, according to same minimum wage percentage now, the 2 bedroom here cost 2500$, so that means that full time earnings at minimum you can't even cover your rent.

Toronto resident here. I do agree with everything that Alina pointed out. Those thing exist. But the only REAL problem is the high cost of rent. It now equals and even surpasses the cost of a mortgage. If the rent problem were resolved, and they can do this by simply building more housing (which they are now starting to do - with government programs and incentives), then most of these problems Alina reported on would recede or disappear completely. \n\nAlso, the homelessness is not visually worse than anywhere else I've visited. Homeless encampments are visible in every city I've been too. However, in Toronto, a LOT of homeless people come from other parts of Canada. \n\nThe violence that Alina referred to was just a snapshot in time. She made her video around 4 months ago, and at that time there were several truly shocking incidents on the subway (which even made international news). Those incidents have not continued. The subway system, and Toronto, is still a very, very safe city. We are the third largest city in North America, after LA and NYC, and we had something like 50 homicides last year. Chicago has like 500. Just by way of example. \n\nI love Toronto, even though it is very expensive to pay rent here. But there is so much to offer that I wouldn't consider living somewhere else. Not a chance. It's great that you can live somewhere else if you work remotely, but when you're not working, what do you do?...Toronto is safe, clean (except in tourist season), with limitless opportunities for career and lifestyle. Wouldn't live anywhere else.

You are mostly giving false information about the state of affairs in Canada. This is the worst time in the history of our country. We are being invaded with legal illegal immigration. The federal government is actively replacing the old stock Canadians with non white immigrants essentially changing the tge Canadian culture and value system. Crime and homelessness is rampant in every city and town across the country . There is a very serious housing crisis as i speak. The country is short upto 4 million homes driving up the price of real estate and rental housing. For example where i live in British Columbia a 1 bedroom apartment rents for $2200 per month for a 50 year old apartment. It costs about $100 dollars for a single bag of groceries. It costs about $4000 dollars per month just to exist. All of that and our government has gone the way of socialism and our rights and freedom are being removed at an alarming rate.
