I think Canada will be just fine without new Indians.

It’s actually been my plan to go to Canada for a few years now, it’s a shame how the Trudeau has destroyed it. I wanted to do my masters at McGill, and still do but if the situation there doesn’t improve it just won’t be worth my time. I don’t wan to stay in the UK but I may as well stay in France or go to Australia.

As an American I would NEVER want to live in Canada. Their salaries are much lower than an American salary and they have much higher taxes. As a huge hockey fan, you almost never see an American hockey player go to a Canadian team as a free agent because of the crazy taxes.

Canada is a vast country, but its population is based in a handful of metro regions. All the immigrants and students are coming to these highly populated areas where there is a lack of housing and jobs. Everything is a lot more expensive these days. No wonder many people are thinking about leaving this country.

Move to India to continue to work online somewhere else or live with the money you earned somewhere else is easy. But everyone won’t be able to do it. Foreigners show up, contribute to plundering the countries resources, get citizenship vote in elections they have no business voting in, then once things go bad they can just as easily leave. the real Canadians who's country it is cannot so easily flee the bad times. this is why all immigration has to be massively reduced in all countries both illegal and legal. Lack of job opportunities in Canada as compared to the ones in the US

Job market is sluggish, Salary not comparable with US, House Rent are so high, buying a house is a distant dream, inflation is high, education standard is poor kids learn more of LGBTQ+ than math or science, infrastructure not spread out like US, concentration is only in Toronto and within 20 km radius, high cost of living for eg. ridiculus auto insurance premiums, groupism & racisim. I dont think people blend in, healthcare serious wait times. I know no country is perfect but Canada lost its charm in recent times because of politics like in India. Overall US is still better but has its own problem like mass shooting & rising cost of living. If you get lucky US is the right option for now compared to europe.

If these people have no where to live, and can't find jobs to match their skills, why are they allowed to immigrate in the first place? People who already live here can't find jobs or housing. As a person living for around twenty years in Canada, the real problem is too much supply of human resources from outside Canada especially from India. This is around 35% and trying to concentrate in certain areas of Canada. This has caused too much burden on Health care, Transportation, housing, and other public services in those areas. Unlike the time I migrated to Canada, all places are now overcrowded. There are not enough job opportunities due to the large influx of students. Thousands of applicants for one job from the day they arrive here. You can get some idea of how many applied on the job site Indeed. This has resulted in companies and job agencies exploiting students by paying low wages and firing them indiscriminately. Therefore, both the Canadian government and the Indian government have a role to play and Students too should be aware of the real situation here.

I don't blame you, I was born and raised in Canada and its not what like what it was 20-30 years ago. On top of a crappy climate and endless gray days, terrible health services, falling standards of living no thanks to Trudeau. Canada's golden period frankly in the 1970s its been in decline since overall, there was a brief boom in the late 2000s/early 2010s under Harper but its all but evaporated.
