Why did you give admission to these students in the first place?

They are not Canadian citizen's, what entitlement. Our country should not allow other countries people to come to Canada for school then think they can just stay. All international student's should have to go back to their countries by law. If they want to apply from their own countries go ahead as they then will have to have back ground checks like any other person who wants to come to Canada.

ADVICES to some students: Do not come to Canada!! Why come here??? It is free to study in France and Germany anyway so why waste your money in Canada or Australia!!! Save your money and invest it in your homeland to start a business or buy a land or build a house!!! Don’t do like some North Americans who spend thousands in student loans and spend 15 years to repay them!!! Canada is NIT a as attractive as it was anymore anyway due to lack of job opportunities, crappy healthcare, crappy transportation (compared to France where I come from), and impossible rents!!! Just save your money and may be start learning German and/or French so that you got alternatives!!!!

Need your advice before submitting my son’s PR application form. \n \nBelow is the confused question. \n“Did you complete at least 50% of the study or training program's courses through in-person learning?” \n \nMy son landed in Toronto on Sept, 2021 to pursue a 2 years post graduate course and he completed his course in April, 2023. Due to covid, 1st & 2nd semesters were online and for the 3rd semester, college has given the option to the students to attend the college either in-person or online. My son moved to Alberta in the 2nd semester (March, 2022) due to the job and never came back to Toronto after that. \n \nInformation from Immigration: All clients should provide an accurate response. If you completed any part of your study or training program during the period of March 2020-August 2022, your response will not effect your Comprehensive Ranking System score. “In-person learning” means you physically attended the classes or other forms of instruction. \n \nPlease advise the answer for this question

Agree that international students should leave but what’s your priority? Would you rather have refugees from Islamic countries who are Islamists and extremists or highly qualified international students?

We need to deport more than just international students!! This is completely out of hand!! They are replacing us old stock Canadians!!!

Every international students MUST go home after they graduate!! They CANNOT use their student status to stay in Canada & take jobs AWAY from Canadians!!! No more international students!!!

To some up things in KANADA, our students are NOT being taught properly for health, well-being and or purpose. We need to be taught for meaning, purpose and mission and being of service to others. Rather WE are EDUCATED based in my opinion on Marxist ideology. I noticed that when I attended my first days in school in a one room schoolhouse in 1954.

Why we have so many students from India at first place? Secondly they are no right to demand anything. Ship them back and stop permits to study in Canada

They all have fake admissions letters to Canadian academic institutions there are unscrupulous agents in India who are sending these students abroad to Canada using fake documents… this is what is really going own know they don’t want to leave so they are doing this ?. They should be forced to leave asap. The entitlement is just shocking they aren’t even Canadian leave leave …… enough already. We don’t need more Tim Horton workers and Uber drivers ?. Trudeau says the number of international students has grown at a rate that if far more than Canada can absorb. Like they are growing out of the fricken ground. \n\nThis clown can’t even bring himself to be honest about who is responsible. People actually still support this guy? Really? \n\nNow his creepy minions are going to give them citizenship as a solution, like that somehow fixed the problem. These people are so bent on remaining in power, they will literally do anything. \n\nSo, are they trading votes for citizenship now, right out in the open? I was an international Student....15 years ago. I paid about 30k in tuition A YEAR.. I was NOT allowed to work off campus, i was allowed to work ON campus for a maximum of 10 hours A WEEK...in order for me to maintain my Visa status i had to maintain a GPA over 3.5 AND i had to be enrolled in an accredited institution. Our international student department had a quota of how many students they could recruit from every country... Rent was affordable, jobs were aplenty and when it came time for an Internship companies would come do hiring fairs and fight to get students to want to work for them. Now they get about 60k applicants a year that are willing to work for free and taking away from actual citizens.\nAfter 8 years of working and grinding and stressing i earned the right to get a Permanent residence...i had to commit 3 years out of 5 to stay here and work here and pay taxes for me to become a Canadian ...it was the proudest day of my life. I was filled with a sense of achievement that has been shat on by these students. \nIf you or anyone would actually like to talk about how it should be feel free to reach out.\nI will tell you this for free...if a Canadian Citizen did this in my country .. they'd be on the first flight home.

Very sad. I feel for the students but my family comes first. Shit is hard right now and everyone is feeling the pinch in every turn. We need change. I don't know who to vote but def not the liberal party.

Can you imagine going to a foreign country on a student visa and then protesting that country's government? The audacity and entitlement these people have....

The balls on these people. They need to leave the country when they are supposed to legally do so. Canada and actual Canadians should take a stand on this and don’t back down. I do not drink coffee or eat fast food. So I have no need for these people. Get your education and get out. I am an immigrant that came to Canada legally. No one bent the rules for me nor for people whom I have met here that are also immigrants all legally from several different nations in Europe as well as Caribbean and South American. All actually hold decent paying jobs nurses, engineers business owners ect. They work hard to make a life for themselves and their families to become successful Canadians. Send all these students back when their time is up. If not it’s only going to cost Canadians and immigrants that contribute and wish to be Law abiding Canadians that do more than serve food and coffee.

This is just the beginning, once a precedent is set these protests will go all over in Canada. All these students are coming for only one purpose, ie. to get Canadian PR. Once this precedent is set, world over immigration consultants will sell this an easy opportunity to settle in Canada...come as student, Strat working right away, do some protests and bingo, get the PR.

Who in the right mind would come to Canada to study paying so much money in student tuition and not hope to become a citizen? It’s not their fault that they’ve been scammed out of money and now kicked out of the country because of poor administrative decisions. \n\nDual intent (of studying and wanting to stay) is completely legal and worked for decades. I don’t see any issues here. \n\nInstead of criticizing the actions of the government officials of screwing this up in the first place, it’s a shame to see you demonize the poor international students that have been defrauded in the first place.

Any student should be obligated to give the government a 50,000 retainer which they would get back once they leave . Can’t afford it you can’t afford to be here

As an immigrant myself we need to know the truth. Most student will bring their families from India also.

They shouldn't be called immigrants they are international students. And they need to leave the county once their study is done. But how about dont let them in in the first place.

Many people of different backgrounds have exploited our countries relaxed policies, and our politicians have remained oblivious to these facts. \n\nSome of these students claim false refugee status/claims and other pretend to be students, only to expedite and circumvent the regular PR application process. Our country is great, but quality has deteriorated during current leadership. \n\nAll these students should go back home and then apply for WP or PR from home country, as the guidelines use to be. There should be limitation/cap on number of applications of students/ PR from particular country.\n\nAustralia has banned international students' from Indian states: Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Gujrat and Jammu and Kashmir over alleged submission of fraudulent documents and high rate of dropouts. Most of these students make up the majority that are seen on streets protesting now. \n\nOur policy target is to import 1.5 million immigrants in 2 years. Based on survey 25 % are Indians that 375,000 additional Indian nationals over 2 years. If cap is not placed, Canada will lose it diversity. We do need Quality over Quantity.

India is notorious for its falsification of would-be immigrant/admission status. This is just a testimony to that fact. Canada has been invaded by Indians over the past 40 years with the creation of large ethic enclaves in major cities. Stop acquiescing! Boot these students out! Stop pandering to them. We Canadian Taxpayers who have paid taxes for all of our lives and get Shit from the liberal government should demand that these so called students be deported NOW.We are tired of paying for their way and we are tired of paying for the illegals who have flocked into Canada and they have to be deported NOW as well.Two year extension is meant to have them here to help the liberals in the next election.

Slow immigration and send those students back home, it is just a scam as they are noted for that, they have no right to protest in Canada too!! They come here under the guise of being international students and faking their finance documents so when they come to Canada they steal food from food banks meant for Canadians. That’s what’s wrong. The food court in our mall is 90% staffed with international students and don’t even get me started on Walmart

I’m an Indian and I support your views students should return to India upon completion of their studies & students going there should refrain themselves from criminal and illicit activities too.

I live in a residential area in midtown Toronto. For some unknown reason, Fleming College decided to open 2 different offices next to houses, an apartment and a condo building. 100% of the students are Indian. What can I say...they have ZERO respect for the neighbour's. They have more breaks than actual class time and when they are outside they yell loudly (while standing beside each other), non-stop hysterical laughing, smoke in front of the 'no smoking' sign at the adjacent convenience store, block the handicapped ramp, block the sidewalk and blast music from their cars. This is from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, Mon-Sat. Rude, disrespectful and a downright nuisance to a once quiet area.

Where were you so called Canadians when covid 19 hit. Oh! I remember you guys were chilling out on government benefits. \n\nInternational students and workers were the ones who kicked the ass off at sales and service sectors. Without worrying about covid they worked at every job. The jobs where Canadian resigned. I think you do remember. \n\nInternational workers are not demanding PR they are protesting because government forgets all the sacrifices that they have done. That is the reason we are protesting. If Temporary workers have planned a future in Canada is that a Crime?. \n\nAt least we are not racist. \nYou guys will not find the hearts that they have. And myself got my PR but i rejected it and came back to my own country. The word is out come here as an international student then get your Class A license begin working as a truck driver and apply for landed immigrant. I have had more than one close call with transports on the highway and am never surprised when I see who is driving.

As an *actual* Canadian student, I can say there's no opportunities in Canada. I might have to move to the US to get a job in my field sadly.

They should not grant extension from the beginning. Bad decision. Student visa is not working visa. Most of these Indian are coming to get residents and benefits. No intention to contribute anything to our country.

I think the PEI students will get extensions. Because it's part of the plan.

India is known for world class educational institutions and universities. We have IITs and IIMs and are running the companies in the west. How are these “students” there to study? Their intent is suspect.
