I was born in canada (Montréal ) and never left this country. I thought about maybe moving to Nigeria or Brésil one day. But I’m way too comfortable living here. This country is awesome. \n\nI think that those 2 woman are just boring period. They probably stay at home and do nothing. \n\nTheir is so much to do in Montréal .\n\nYou got endless festivals during the summer, outdoor activities during the winter. You have to try new things, \n\nTry skiing during the winter. Do some yoga. Learn about other cultures, salsa, meringue class. \n\nWhen you have a regular 9 to 5 you will work hard and have little to enjoy specially if you have kids.\n\nPeople usually enjoy their selves doing activities with their kids. \n\nThese woman look like they stay at home doing absolutely nothing. I remember a time when the cost of living in Canada was much more affordable. I also remember a time when we didn't wait so long to get our free healthcare. The healthcare issue started many years ago when some old Conservative dude was in charge and he decided the best way for us to save money was to take it out of the healthcare funds. And then everything went ?with our healthcare. The cost of living was always high but it was balanced with our incomes. But it just absolutely ridiculous since Covid! I have to take on part time work on top of my full-time job now just to afford my increased cost of living!!

You are absolutely right. I live in quebec for 37 years I work as a RN but retired now .The taxes are ridiculously high QC is terrible. Canada has a two tier system. Private and free.you guys are so true. My husband was born canadian and we did ok with two salaries teacher and RN.

And if you really want a little Canadian treat go visit a serious British Columbia it has all four ecosystems in it I think it's the only place in Canada that has that at least it did when we used to stop there for lunch on our way to Vancouver maybe with climate change and everything that's gone too who knows but yeah the healthcare sucks I worked in the field got out of that field and now I'm very sick and need help and guess what no doctor I have no doctor and no doctor will listen so you guys are absolutely right if I had a way and the means and the money I'd be gone

What I have found is that you'll experience a lot of trade offs. For instance, instead of having to deal with cold, rainy weather, you can find a warm and sunny place, but there will be a constant threat of earthquakes or wild fires. Again, keep looking for that special place, and maybe that process, the process of dreaming and seeking, will be a way of experiencing your paradise (vicariously) -- as dreams can provide things that we can only hope for in reality. In any case, I wish you well!

This video may aimed to build awareness on fact about Canada as you both saw it but researching things about why things are the way they are would have been more informative than what sound basic and speculative and not absolutely hung on facts like when Canada provide World class infrastructure at bear minimum cost is directly the trade off on earnings. Certain service oriented employment are not big earners and for immigrants that are non professionals it is not the right country to migrate to after you did so now you are doing the first work after you find yourself there. Pls research and inform immigrants of a well paying jobs in Canada and you just got yourself a winner.

as an ontarian, quebec is by far the best province, when i went there it was absolutely beautiful, i loved every second of it, there was tons of snow and it was like a winter wonderland, i know french cause so the language issue wasn't a problem, if any American wants to take a vacation to canada quebec is the place

Going thorough the NOC list, I find matching in lists which require College degree as well as University degree. Shall I first do an ECA to find if I am college equivalent in Canada OR University ? Is it possible that I am rejected because in my EE profile I write University-qualification NOC but I am only college qualified .Can I be rejected for vice versa ( I am univeristy qualified and mention a college-qualification NOC) ?

Your stats are very old, unemployment in PEI has dropped and high tech is doing well. Lots of folks are moving to PEI & Nova Scotia. Halifax is absolutely beautiful with so much that is new. Even Metro Cape Breton has reversed the decline of recent years and is now growing at 2% per year. By the way both Cape Breton and the South Shore of NS are drop dead beautiful. The South Shore is New England beautiful, the way New England was in the past. If I were from Boston I'd be moving to NS. The pandemic was managed better in the Maritimes which is translating into growth.

Nice video. But that’s absolutely not the complete picture, not at all. Most of the city has more people and houses are right next to each other. After few blocks they have open space, park for kids and play ground. Such as NY city. Go to Queens or Brooklyn or Bronx or even Manhattan. Please don’t scare people!
