Canada is as broken as an Ubisoft game and its terrible here. i love living in Toronto as its my home city but the quality of life here decreased. our healthcare is messed up that i had to wait 3 months for a therapist so i can start walking again after i had surgery on my leg. by the time one was assigned to me i was already walking and back to normal and didnt need any assistance anymore. also Toronto rather spend 20 mil on renaming a major street to some African name(that has nothing to do with Toronto) for some dumb reason instead of spending that money elseware to improve our medial/housing/food crisis.

2 Words HOUSING BUBBLE. Remember that for the last 5 years we have been warned that the housing bubble will burst. Well these governments knew this and came up with a plan.\nIf Canada, Australia, UK and USA had not taken almost 10 million migrants the Housing bubble would have burst and property prices would have plunged at least 50% worse than in 2008, banks and major property developers would have collapsed and the building industry would have collapsed. and there could have been an economic collapse. \nSo they flooded our countries with every kind of Migrant, it did not matter, refugees, students, skilled etc. These millions of immigrants have rented rooms, flats, investors rushed in to invest thereby, leading to huge shortage and massive demand, which inflated house prices. Who is to blame? Politicians created the demand, Bankers were ready to lend increasing their assets and bonuses, Investors exploited the situation.

Winter is coming back in few months time. Canada is all about the cold. Only 3 months of sun, the rest is bad weather pretty much. If you like in door life, then Canada is for you but if you are the outgoing type who hate cold, you are better off in warm continents like Africa.

I think the best part about Canada that you can't find anywhere else is the people and the landscape. Everyone here is so friendly and willing to help their neighbor. I find when I travel, the world feels much colder than here. Unfortunately it's all these amazing people who are suffering to no fault of their own. I haven't been to a doctor since I moved to Quebec (Born and raised Albertan) and I think it's among the worst of the provinces in terms of healthcare and infrastructure and considering it's the highest taxes in all the provinces. Luckily in Quebec City though it's still very affordable (relative to the rest of the country) but the housing market is still getting expensive here very fast. in 2020 my friend bought an apartment for 300k and within 4 years it's easily almost doubled in value for no reason other than inflation in the market. I love this country but indeed things need to change

Here in Toronto you hardly see any white people anymore (exaggerating a bit), yet you complain about racism and also criticize Canada in other areas. How is it even your business? I don't remember ever seeing Canadian TV programs criticizing India. And I have nothing against India and Indians, in fact, they're mostly quite pleasant. But you're taking it a bit far here.

No person in his sane state of mind will ever consider to move to Canada now! I moved here 22 yrs back through the immigration point system and I'm desperately planning to get the hell outta here. Trudeau and his corrupt policies has destroyed the Canada that I loved till a few years back. I do not see a problem having international students. They shall have their own money for tuition, accommodation and food. Our taxes shall not subsidize foreign students. Also as soon they have finished their schools they shall go back to their countries. And if they want to immigrate they shall stay in general line for all applicants. Why Canada promises PRs for foreign students and their families? It may be one inexperienced graduator in family and the rest a bunch of low skilled workers immediately asking for welfare to survive. I do not see any benefits for Canada.

Here are the ways I feel I you can improve:\n\nYou don't have to own a car, I think that a choice that isn't necessary, instead invest in good quality winter wears - might be expensive but it will be very worth it. A famous brand is the North face.\nAlso finding an area that matches one's pocket is crucial, never go with the bandwagon. Nigerians don't have to live close to you for you to be okay. Mingle and learn new cultures and ways after all you immigrated. Go to developing areas that won't be too far from work. Quebec #1? You've got to be kidding! Great maybe if you are fluent, and I do mean fluent, in French. Otherwise you're treated like a second class citizen. As a tourist destination it is fabulous. The best food ever throughout the province. Old Quebec City by far the most beautiful in Canada and Montreal for the marvellous shopping experience. All fine for a fumbling in French tourist, but moving there and trying to get on in fractured high school French is a whole new and not so pleasant experience. I lived in the province for just under 2 years so my comments are based on that experience. After travelling the country extensively I settled in Northern Ontario to raise my family. Now retired I live in Canada's largest city Toronto and love it.
