I worked in Taiwan before. Even a minimum wage convenience store clerk can earn more than in Canada. I can buy more McDonald's hamburger, eating out 3 meals everyday, fewer days of salary to pay rent.(almost half)for example, Any minimum wage workers in Taiwan can rent a room by working less than 3 days, but in Canada a room is $600 which needs 6 days wage to pay the rent. And TTC bus and subway monthly fee is $155/. It needs 1.5 days' salary to buy it. Comparing to Taipei, it costs only less than 1 days' salary to buy the bus and subway monthly card.

Public safety should never be compromised. Canada and the US are on the wrong track and both these countries need to punched pretty bad so that they learn a lesson. Both these countries have decriminalized crimial behavior and habits. Drug use and drug trade is very prolific in bth these countries and violent crimminals are operating with impunity. Of course, we didn;t get here in one day and it is the majority of voters who are respoinsible for this situation in both these countries. And what is worse is these 2 countries are the worst hypocrcites and ultimately the people are responsible for electing wrong people and making the wrong choices, Immigrants need to do their homework instead of blaming Canada and others for their plight if their life is hell in canada.

I didn't realize hearing the azan five times a day was a blessing so many Muslims longed for, but now that I think about it , I think I'm truly blessed to be living in a Muslim country and will I be able to live without this beautiful sound enriching my soul fives times a day? I'm not so sure.

I did my education here in Ontario. Canada is becoming worse every day anyway!!! Salary are low (while cost of living is skyrocketing), which is why we have so many Canadians and immigrants who are becoming so anxious, depressed and facing all sorts of mental problems), people are moody, quality of life is decreasing and transport is trash compared to France and the lack for doctors is making this country look like a third world\nEconomy!!! Even Canadians are happy to leave this place and honestly, we think of leaving it too for another country.. that you can trust me! (My 2 younger sisters are actually leaving and makes plans to leave Canada behind for good to immigrate elsewhere and my older brother plans to relocate to a warmer country.\n.. and NO!! I am not going to buy a 1 million dollar house in Vancouver at the expense of my well being!!! It ain’t worth it no more!!! Better buy in Europe.. like France or Portugal!!!!

Come to South Africa, it's not perfect here, we do have lots of problems but you will hear your 5 times a day azaan, islaam is strong, our madressahs are tops, hijab is never a problem.\nWe have the best constitution in the world. \n\nI'm shocked when I hear about a simple thing like hijab that we wear freely and in the workplace if you so wish.

Even though I became Muslim only since mid March, I’ve been considering making the Hijra to a Muslim country Insha’Allah. I can’t relate to living in cold weather conditions being in Southern California, but I can relate to everything else. \n\nI’m not married. Insha’Allah one day I will. But I think about the safety my wife will have going out in public in her hijab. Insha’Allah I’ll have kids and I wonder about the indoctrination going on in society. \n\nBut the biggest thing for me is living in the US and knowing that whoever is in charge will endorse genocide. And for a country that prides itself on free speech, yet we see that speech being limited when it comes to standing up for what’s right. I actually had a feeling that was going to be your number one reason before you got to it.\n\nI can’t make this happen right now but Insha’Allah in the next few years, be able to work on it so it can happen.

Your number 1 reason to leave Canada is something I have been seriously thinking of too. When I first came to Canada it played a peace-keeping role. Gone are those days, it’s tearing me apart, being a part of such a country. I came from India about 40 years ago. And, everyone knows what is the present condition of India. Me and my husband do not have kids, we have been married for 12 years and we live in usa but not a day goes by we want to move because keeping your eman stead fast is sooo difficult ! We have plans to move in the near future also.

#3 was the biggest one (imo) that made me think. I can't imagine what it's like to have to live day to day with those worries and fears about yourself AND your children. As a mother of 3 myself, there is already so much to worry about when it comes to our children, without the added fear of visible religion being added to that. I have never once thought about what it would be like, if I was raised in a religion where it was visible to others, how that would have impacted me, nor have I ever passed a thought as a parent. And for that, I'm sorry. I'm sorry that you have to live with those worries and fears each day. I'm sorry that people of Muslim religion are bullied and targeted on a daily basis. I'm sorry that a few bad eggs, have marked the beautiful people. I may not be Muslim, but I would gladly step in and stand up for a Muslim (or anyone tbh) who was being victimised because of their religion. I truly hope your children never become victims, and I truly hope that y'all are able to find a place with Sandy beaches, lots of sun, a wonderful Muslim community with plenty of free space to worship how and when you need to freely, and the feeling of safety for you both and your beautiful children.

If i may suggest you to go check my country Indonesia or my neighbor Malaysia. You can hear calling for pray 5x a day, mosques are everywhere, halal food also everywhere. A lot of choice of education for your children, generally or Islamic ones. And most important thing is the people and government against genocide. We don't have any diplomatic relationship and never acknowledge the state of IsNotReal. Also 1 more thing, living cost here is relatively low compare to Canada or any other countries. It's definitely not warmer but the State of Minnesota now broadcasts the call to prayer all times of day, year round and they have a very large, and growing, Muslim population/community... Obviously that doesn't solve the winter problem but there are the great lakes which are great for summer beach days!

I am a Christian, and I totally understand why you would want to move. Western society is going crazy as far as I can tell. It seems like people snapped into a state of crazy after being locked up for Covid. I live in Georgia, USA, and I agree with you about the genocide that our government is also turning a blind eye to the truth. I just don't understand why people can be full of such hate. I am so ashamed of our government. I am older, and I worry about my great granddaughter who will start school next year. I see so much of this transgender being pushed on public school children. I just can't understand what a person's sex preference has to do with preschool or any public education. This is something that should be handled at home by a parent or parents. \nI could not even imagine what you go through trying to find a safe place to pray 5 times a day. It's easy for people like me to just look around and see the Christmas decorations that are everywhere but disregard what other religions feel like when they are never considered as a part of the community. I will pray for your family to be able to live where you hear the call to prayer 5 times a day and find somewhere warm on that I agree. I hate the cold.

I cant blame you for the cold. I dont love the winter either. I moved back to the cold winter from the coast and boy do you get spoiled on either coast of canada for weather! I just dont like to be cold. If I could move to the USA, preferably texas. I would go. In terms of living costs, its sad how many canadians dont understand that places like BC and ON have been pricey for a long time. Its new in other provinces to be this expensive and AB, SK, MB, QC. While some of those provinces are more expensive than others, they're new to the super high prices and many refuse to recognize how ON and BC have been paying these prices far longer then inflation right now, which isn't new either. While I'm not muslim, I am LDS and we are not a favourite religion in society either. We get chastised all the time and nobody bats an eye. I've been insulted by employers, our church buildings have been set on fire. I still have to explain why my faith doesn't believe in working on sundays (as employers want that these days). I think some religions or non religious dont want to recognize what we get put through too. Even though we can relate to muslims in our own way. My faith enjoys serving communities with the muslims, I have worked with muslims and many are just the kindest people! The first president of our church got murdered and our people got chased within the USA and americans seem to believe that this doesn't happen in their own country but the same hate has and continues to happen in my faith. So I can understand, we face a lot of rejection when we speak about our faith. I can understand in my own way how you feel.
