Yes, I love Canada but the taxes are crazy! We only visited and paid multiple taxes on items, was crazy. Eight hours to see a doctor in ER isn't bad, here in America you can be in the ER for 24 hours or longer depending on why you are there and which hospital you go to, so please don't go to a county hospital, I have left went home or to another one. We learned that the cost of living is much higher and the cost of food, especially if you eat out, and the cost of gas was way higher than in America.Thanks for the information, very informative.

Being a critical sardar myself, i can certainly say that our community is the most dangerous which comes very close to being called a terrorist outfit, because of the way we behave with outsiders or with different community people..Like we say about Islam being a terrorist supporting faith, Sikh may not support bombings, & killings but they do cause a violent protest(acts of vandalism, hooliganism fully supported by the faith itself is a total shame) in case something is said or goes against them, which is nothing but being TERRORISTS. I am from Ontario and i agree Quebec is my favourite province . I struggle with the french language despite my efforts to learn it but people in Quebec are mostly bilingual and are happy to speak English if you cant speak french

I live in Germany and sometimes, I think about moving to Canada simply because German language is difficult to learn but with what you guys said about Canada, I think it would be better to just learn the language and remain in this beautiful country in the middle of Europe.

Immigrants, especially Africans usually stay in megalopoles, these big cities like Paris, New York... But local people tend to move out to the countryside, where things are still more affordable. Why? Because that's what these locations are designed for, to attract the workforce from around the world, and keep the machine running, while the real benefits go to the local monarchs and local middle class who leaves those places. So of course, they don't expect you to come to their country, do so well, and take over. Wow, I’ve learned a lot about Canada that I didn’t know and I’ve visited Vancouver for one day while vacationing in Seattle WA 20+ years ago. One day most certainly isn’t enough time to get the feel of a place and most definitely not when considering to relocate. I’ve learned not to consider any place for relocation that I couldn’t visit beforehand like I did before relocating to the west coast from the east coast: the world was a friendlier place believe it or not than it is now. ?\n\nConversely, things definitely change over time especially when you’re younger, but I can attest without reservation that people ultimately make a place period: unless you’re a hermit. If Quebec wasn't so hostile towards Non-French speakers it would be my number 1 choice but all the anti-English laws, lack of availability for non-French speakers, and general rude anti-outsider behavior really puts a hamper on its growth. Well said, both US and Canada are all the same thing, it’s a circle. Start again and go back to school when you relocated to diasporas my dear. I do have to say if you're actually worried about the cold as a factor in moving to Canada it is way less than you think. In Southern Ontario it gets to be -40C about 3-4 times a winter, and in the summer it gets to 40C 3-4 times a summer, so we have pretty diverse weather, what you should worry about is how many different kinds of clothes you'll need to buy to actually go through the four seasons.\n\nJust a quick note on Quebéc, even if you did learn french you will most likely be yelled at in french as they are for the most part very protective of french Canada and see themselves as a different country, they don't like other people very much, and the french is different to french french. Cool place to visit but not so much to live in.

I can have my patients have MRIs or CT scans within 2 days if they need is there a giant . What you need is Doctor Patient Advocates. We should learn etiquettes of a country and i must say that in general we need to adapt to them ..and as immigrants we are working in theri country so let's respect and appreciate them . My friend called me yesterday. He said there is something important I want to ask you, but I can't talk over the phone. Let's meet at a coffee shop. I said ok, then we met and he told me he had just met a guy who runs an English school. He asked him for 1200 CAD for the complete package, which includes English level 4 and the Canadian citizenship test. Note (my friends don't speak English), so my friend accepted and left a deposit and was told he has to attend an English school for only 15 days and he will receive a level 4 English efficiency. THAT'S UNFAIR. I HAVE SPENT HOURS LEARNING ENGLISH AND STUDYING FOR THE TEST!!!!! Anyone has an idea how to stop these people??????? Who should I contact???? I live in Ottawa.

Be careful. In this video you both sound like spoiled brats. Many people in your home country would do almost anything to trade places with either of you. It sounds like you would both be happier if you went back home. When you get there please contribute some of what you learned in Canada to the people around you. But before you leave please be sure to thank the Canadian government officials and the other Canadians who helped to make it possible for you to reside in Canada legally. You should both remember that there are millions of illegal immigrants in the US and Europe who would gladly trade places with either of you. By the way, I am not Canadian. But I imagine that many of the Canadians who watch this video will feel you are both rather ungrateful for the opportunities that Canada has given you.

This story sounds like what someone told me some years back about the UK. I'm not surprise because Canada is model after the UK. I learned is not a republic because the Queen of England still rules. But I don't agree that you can't become rich. There are rich and poor people everywhere.

Maybe America has lower taxes, but most people no health insurance, or those that do are underinsured. A stay at the hospital can leave you in debt for life, or you may not get to go to hospital because you have no insurance. Its surprising sometime to learn that people who seem to be doing very well actually have no insurance.

I've thought about moving to Canada from the US, at least for warmer months of the year, but decided against it for some of the reasons you list and one you didn't list. The amount owed in taxes and cold, dreary Winters, while prices are still pretty high for necessities all makes me think I'm better off just staying where I am. Also I learned recently that you have this thing called Self ID, where any man can decide he's a woman and just fill out a form and pay a fee, then has access to all women's spaces, programs, etc. That sealed the deal. I like some liberal things about Canada, but the country is just too far into the extreme left for me. Good luck to all of you up there though. I hope the coming Winter is a mild one.

One of the top issues is being black. Seen as black and identified as black when you leave a predominantly Black Country. \nWhen I watch the various Realestate shows of white people buying property abroad as second home or just packing up and moving. I always say it must be nice! Because the reality is they can see them self almost everywhere unless they choose to go into a remote area then that’s the only exception but even then as long they learn the language and respect the culture they are good they are liked welcomed and even seen as fascinating. Not saying they don’t have to struggle but the colour of their skin is the least! \nAmerica is great if your trying to be self made, be your own business owner, and other random ventures you want to dabble in. But to just go there and be a regular teacher, doctor, lawyer, engineer to the low and middle class you’ll end up with the same financial issues and struggles as a result. You gotta now cater to the rich and famous wealthy people but then it’s back to never being home and not enough time for family. \nThe reality is if we could make the money we make here in North America and Uk back home in in the Caribbean and specific countries in Africa it would be a dream come true and that goes for other communist countries too. You truly have to know what makes you happy. Make money but enjoy life it might mean living below your means even though you can can afford a bit better life style. People do it all the time back home (not because they want to I know) but for some reason when you move abroad a one bedroom for your single self is to small, the car under $24k isn’t good enough, you don’t want your kids to share a room so you need a bigger house and the list goes on and on. \nCanada is boring if your not in a major city with money to spend you know why? Because people forget the population of the entire country of Canada is only a 3rd, 4th, 10th of the population of certain countries that immigrants came from and in the case of the US population it’s 100x more than Canada. So of course there’s more opportunities there. \nAnd finally imagine if more countries didn’t need visas to travel? They really would just come to make money and go back home or live bicoastal. Even just the freedom of travel half of the immigrants would of settled elsewhere before the year was up or go back home.

When I tell Africans not to go to Canada they never listen. Canada is a really cool country. There's no doubt about that but in winter the weather gets really cold, dull, grey and depressing. Instead of moving always to The UK, US or Canada, why not try the Caribbean and some central American countries. These countries are very colorful, lively and bright with climate similar to ours. There are lots of folks over there that look like us as well except that you may have to learn a little Spanish which shouldn't be a problem at all. \nI'm a Nigerian too.\nI also dreamt of moving to Canada 15 years ago. I was so crazy in love with the country at first but because I was aware of how depressing winters can be I had to switch my dream destination to the Caribbean. I choose Panama because of the large Afro Panamanian community over there. Secondly because Panama looks like a more developed version of My country, Nigeria with beautiful beaches and a nice tropical weather. It's one of those few Caribbean nations with a free world class universal healthcare system like most countries in Europe.

If, you aren't a disciplined person then you won't succeed in western countries especially Canada imo. I see people constantly complaining about being bored, but I rarely see new african immigrants mix with groups outside of their home culture. That results in NO building, no reputation, little to no African districts or recognition at all throughout the provinces. It's a shame.\nThe carribbeans did it right in Toronto and it's why their culture has spread in that city. What's the point of moving to another country that is deemed diverse and not trying to gain a mixed friend group? They can learn from you and help you level up while you promote your culture. You are placing yourself in a box.
