To be clear, Canada does not pay for drug addicts to have their doses of drugs. They pay for them to have a safe injection site and free clean needles. If they don’t have any drugs and are at risk of dying sure to not having doses, or don’t want to be on drugs anymore, then they can get free doses of methadone which is a pharmaceutical used to help reduce dangerous withdrawal symptoms. I’d say this fact is much different than what you said. I do think there is a problem that needs addressing but you can’t expect right wing conservative givernwments to have a solution either since they usually just want to grease the palms of their rich friends.

Our government is useless, prices double and they just act surprised ? They have hearings on why we are being robbed by every single major company in Canada and literally never do a single thing after it’s all just a ruse. I am a US citizen and think of moving to Canada. Gun violence, homeless on the street, and migrants are hazard to live here. I went to Montreal last summer, staying in Travelodge near Old Montreal. Two nights stay cost me over $500 USD. It is really outrageous as I spent the same amount for a whole week on cruise, including room and all meals 4 years ago. I understand the inflation, but this same hotel usually charged me $200 US dollars in the summer. Now, Canada becomes un affordable to us. ?
