Credentialing of the educational status of the immigrants is a very big challenge. People spend good time and money to earn degrees,in other countries but all of a sudden they become zero in canada.....\nHousing has become a big gamble for Canadian policymakers, and builder mafia and the crown land...immigrants bring huge sums of money and even then cannot afford a reasonable house in canada...\n..now the new rental building plan .of the Canadian government is another challenge for the immigrants and will decrease interest of the new immigrants

Good bye bye we cant afford to take care of our own people let alone a bunch of people who want to get on the welfare gravy train. We need skilled trades people and antrepreneurial people , Trudeau has destroyed our economy along with the Biden lefty democrats in the States . NORTH AMERICA ESPECIALLY CANADA IS IN BIG TROUBLE.

I immigrated 15 years ago to Canada. I am really scared what is going to happen in future with Canada. I see many people in front of food banks, prices of food are terrible, rent is horrible. \nRegarding work, If you are Canadian and do not have connection for work, good luck. I applied in many places but all the companies want is foreigner workers.

Good its turning into a land of lazy people that don't want to work ,just take ,we have never seen so much absenteeism everyday

Good to hear let them go. We don´t need immigrants, we need our own people to get to invest in themselves. Canadian government is forcing Canadians to leave, Justin Trudeau and the liberals want millionaires here only.

Being a landlord isn’t a fun or profitable business in a number of cases as it’s very hard to find good people who will pay & who will live with others in a peaceful manner\nThe world has become a joke not just Canada

We have enough people as is. The problem isnt that we aren’t welcoming, but that our govt thinks its a good thing to bring in millions of people with no place to live and drive up housing costs.
|

The trouble is Canada is not taking itself seriously. The reality is culture matters. When you dump millions of people into a place over a short period of time, there is bound to be turmoil. The housing crisis. The Balkanization of different cultural groups. The watering down of Canada‘s original culture (the culture that made country desirable in the first place). The low salaries versus cost of living. The reality is this has been brewing for a while, and is only coming to a head now. The solutions are there, but you are “racist” if you say anything. A 90% reduction in immigration would be a good start. Then, a reduction in the size of a bloated government. Incentives for people to have families again. People should be having 2 to 3 kids on average again. A return to Jesus couldn’t hurt as the country was built on Judeo-Christian values. Then, the country will grow organically and will have some hope of becoming great again!

To survive in Canada, you need to be good at English only and have some bluffing skills rather than technical skills. Ya, English skill is 99.999% of sucess factor, nothing else, believe me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Isn’t this a paradise for people from India or Europe who are good at English? Even students of Univ. do not know how to solve the math problem of differentiation or integral....\nI don't know if people has good idea of philosophy of life, culture, or history. It's a country where people don't think about anything other than how to eat hamburgers and how to play games. Shopping, work, eating, sleeping, which are alll for the life, where is Canada....Totally got sick, Falling leaves, OMG !

The problem is very serious, on the one hand they let in people who are not contributing and giving added value to the country, quite the opposite, and on the other hand Canada has fallen far behind countries like Germany, France, Spain or the US , When bringing qualified people for specific fields, what is the difference, two things first, the ridiculous Canadian experience, is nonsense, the other even more ridiculous, the paths for recognition of all types of credentials do not even match the needs of the country and less than when those laws were created, they are completely out of reality, the paths were created by a person without the slightest vision, the aforementioned countries never ask for experience and the path to recognize credentials is easy, above all fast and practical, that is delaying Canada!! and it is leaving it very far from what it was, with so many good professionals who do not work in their area thanks to the terrible policies.
\nThe result, true professionals go where it suits them best.

Obviously, they give so much Tax that hardworking brilliant people will leave as no. of idle people Benefit taking are increasing. SO why will brainy people working hard and give the money to benefit taking and making 10 kids families, also not getting good medical services in spite of giving so much Tax!!

people need to realize that the government lies when they promise an easy life here. it’s unfair to immigrants to be deceived . they come here with good intentions and quickly realize it’s not what they were told. that’s our fault not the immigrants fault

You've mentioned Housing, Health Care , etc.\nThe most important thing that isn't mentioned is good paying jobs.\nSure there are lots of sh!ty jobs out there. Good paying jobs are hard to find\n\nThere are lots of Canadian working two jobs already.\nAs a immigrant who wants to work 2 or sometimes 3 jobs just to make end meet.\n\nThe quality of living standard is going down such as health care, cost of living, etc.\n\nStop self congratulate how good Canada is.\nIt is not and people are seeing it for themselves on the ground have decided to leave.\nOnce they leave then they will tell their friends and so on and so on.

Canada up to 1999 : That image of beacon of human rights .. champion of environment .. NATO blue helmets .. great white north .. etc.. like the marines, we were the few. the proud.
\nA country with under 30m people with almost size of Russia that the whole planet idealized probably for good reasons.
\n
\nCanada now : Well.. You are just as Canadian as anyone in Pakistan. Oh, and working doesn't really work anymore.

Wehre do you want to go? To Europe where are uncontrolled asylum people comming without criminal record checks and sometimes without a passport and getting free monthly money from the governments. Where the payments for skilled worker are bad, and you have to deal with a unfriendly rude sociaty. Even higher taxes. I'm working here as a comercial plumber and im happy here. I had to beginn in the industry as welder because I had to learn english. After 3 years here I'm speaking good english. One thing waht is enjoying that I got permanent Residence last year in summer and we are waiting since may 2022 for or regularly childernbenefits payments. But the CRA are on the way to fix it now finally after many phone calls and sending the permanent Residenc cards 2 or 3 times in. Lots off them how are leaving couldn't make it.

What is canada good for? Its not safe anymore. The medical departments sucks and the justice system suck, getting a job is hard and cannot afford house, rent or food. Most of us live onlg basic and in debt. The extrem cold winters and short depressing days dont help. All this said im still gratefully to God and know people live far worst.

People think of Canida as great. Wide clean open spaces, Free Heath Care, No Trump but a lot of people either don't follow threw or realize quickly that its also snow and wolverines and bears and higher taxes and learning French. Im shore all places have bad and good, but I feel like people are rushing in with out considering all possibilities. You may enjoy the Hocky and the moose and the pleasant locals but it snows in October and the sun stays out after midnight. You have to be ready for all those changes. \nIve wondered my self If I could make it? I need some place that has Spaghetti.

Multicultural = Failed. Here is why (in my opinion) there is no reason to move in any big cities in Canada, and in Canada in general. \n1. Insanely expensive housing with next to none disposable income left in the pocket.
\n2. Inability to get into the real estate market unless $$$ was brought in as an investment. This will leave locals and people who were born in Canada left out for good even further.
\n3. Extremely competitive job market. Newcomers will have to suffer for a long time to break-in.
\n4. Depression and drug addiction is everywhere. It's more deadly than covid but the government can't address the problem because they lose control for good.
\n5. Canada is far away from many other places, which makes things worse as you feel trapped in a workcamp with no place to escape.
\n6. The cost of living is getting much faster with the salaries significantly behind year after year.
\n7. Canada became the country of failed government, failed multiculturalism, too tolerant as a result.
\n8. Retirement in Canada will be impossible for 95% unless you agree to live in the middle of the nowhere until depression kills you.
\n9. Many who came to Canada 25+ years ago and still around felt trapped. Canada's source of immigration will likely be the poorest communities who will agree to put up with everything listed above just to get out of where they live right now.
\n10. Sad, but true. I have seen a steady decline in Canada since 1998. Things get worse every year.

this is scary. we don’t even know who we’re letting into our own country. and with everything currently going on, who knows how many of them are sleeper agents or terrorists sent to destroy the country from within? especially with a vast majority of them being fighting age men? islamic extremists, terrorists, all people we’re letting cross into our country FREELY, and supporting and encouraging BETTER than our own citizens?!\n\nmany of them hate the very country, people, and values they’re illegally entering and eventually overpopulating and mass influencing. eventually these same people will hold positions of power, and the sheer number of them is absolutely overwhelming and can’t be ignored, with the number increasing each day our borders remain open, and security and stricter laws aren’t enforced. and with the constant display of weakness and incompetence from our “leaders”, they may just be emboldened. i’m afraid that one day, they may just rise up and commit mass terrorism. looting, murder, are all possibilities. and with the sheer number of them, we wouldn’t be able to do anything about it. they would be the ones in power now. thing is, our country supports and helps the illegals who hate them more than their own citizens. it’s absolutely treasonous. the longer our borders remain unprotected and wide open, their numbers will only increase, and so will their terrorism. \n\nnot only that, but the amount of illegals we constantly let in and those who are already in, are absolutely negatively impacting our country’s economy, living conditions, population is increasing, many of which are illegals and are a danger to our society, their numbers increasing by the day and taking over our country from within and them holding positions of power, homelessness and cost of living is rising, debt and inflation also keep rising, etc. it’s all bad. \n\nmass deportations must be enforced, but even then, im afraid that too many of them have already infiltrated the country. and considering how our own government hates us and spends billions on everything else BUT their own citizens. it’s not looking good and has huge potential to explode into something terrifying. \n\nthis is already a massive ongoing threat in america, and the possibility of it happening here in Canada becomes more likely the longer our borders are open, and the longer stricter laws and more protective and security measures aren’t being enforced. canada must be canada FIRST with the safety, security, and well-being of our citizens FIRST. \n\nthough with the constant numbers, and the continued ignorance, evil, and corruption in our government, i’m afraid they’re already here waiting for the right moment to strike us. \n\nthat’s why above all, we can’t rely on our leaders to do anything or bring us peace. the only one who can, is Jesus Christ. the one who gave His life for us and gave us the free gift of salvation. all we must do, is follow him, pick up our crosses, have faith in him, and have a relationship with him. \n\nwe must all repent of our sins and lovingly follow him. that is all that matters. God bless you all.

This is such a depressing video. Canada is fucking full.\nWhen people say immigration is good for the economy, they fail to mention that it's the immigrants themselves that are flourishing at the expense of the native Canadians. \nYeah the economy does better because there's cheap labour, low IQ workers that'll pack boxes for 10+ years with no complaints, and those same high skill workers are stealing opportunities from native workers that are equally high skilled (they lose out on opportunities not due to being out-competed but due to Affirmative Action, see ESG scores).\nThis is so grim, seeing Canada, in real time, get raped by foreign insurgents.

Major difference is the quality of life which you live in countries like Canada is much better than in India, but it comes with being independent and managing your chores on your own. It’s definitely expensive but worth living if quality standards are well maintained. The most important factor where India lacks even today is salaried people are being looted on the name of taxes and still don’t get any benefits like good education or health care for free. Grass is greener on the other side so everywhere living has its on pros and cons and really depends on an individual how they want to live and manage their own world

People have differing opinions on what’s caused the decline in Canada but nearly all of it goes back to poor economic management by the federal government and soft on crime policies that’s keep violent offenders on the streets. People are afraid and poor, not a good combination for creating a thriving livable city.

The problem is people who did not get seats in good Indian universities look for an easy way out. To go out and work abroad, you need good English and good basic subjects. Scamsters exploit these hapless youngsters who did not make the grade in India.

Firstly it’s not easy but at the end of it is would have been worthwhile it especially for your kids. Besides 2 months is too early to judge and make such a big decision. Lastly no one calls people to their country it your choice… you should be grateful you had family it was way easier for you. Fixing things is something you do anywhere in the world. Basement stay was a choice you should rent a house if you could afford it. Education system has changed world wide. Job should be an affiliate certification world recognized if not you start a level lower. Like u said your kids it was good that is the reason you should have stayed. Road rules again worldwid. You should have stayed for your kids

I’ve lived near Toronto for the vast majority of my adult life. Around 2016 I was working there and started to explore the city a little bit more, living there for a short time. I think the draw and attraction was that it always was a little hectic. Always something to look at, so many different cultures. Also such contrasts, walking through the downtown core and then out to a neighborhood like Greek town. With parks and even forests to be found. It went from tense to a feeling of refuge and a sense of a natural oasis within a chaotic machine. I think the sense of calm which could be found has become a little more rare. Also a certain openness that people and cultures had towards each other has been fading. Discourse with other opinions morphed into the near impossible. It’s all by design and sad to see. It’s a tangible and significant change. When you zoom out at the infrastructure, social and economic level. It’s very hard to see a healthy recovery happening anytime soon. Mostly due to those being in charge not caring. Still lots of beauty there. I would never choose to live there again, but if anyone is still living there and reading this. My advice would be to explore the greenways, parks and forests to be found. The juxtaposition of city and nature gives a heightened appreciation to both realities, and really gives a more balanced/peaceful mindset to explore the good which can be found

Our Health Care system is broken. We have very bad doctors and insane wait times. Our Health Care is tax funded and it's impossible to sue the hospital if they misdiagnose or mistreat an illness. When you pay for your doctor you will get the best care. Not up here though. One thing per visit and you must see a medical clinic first, if you can get an appointment. My last 2 visits were 14h wait times, and that's at the biggest hospital in BC. \n\nWe don't have free speech. We heavily tax our poorest people. Our gas is over $2 a liter. Food is very expensive especially at fast food places and restaurants. \n\nOur internet is third world at best but with some of the highest data costs in the world. \n\nWe have a run on our borders and our infrastructure is bursting at the seams. We put the needs of other countries before our own. Could be a good thing but not when helping the world is making it harder and harder for those born here to actually live and thrive here.

Back about 15 years ago I was down in Indiana on Ohio. In the people I met in the Midwest states. Great people laid back hard workers. America might have its problems, but so does Canada. Lot of similarities between both countries. And as for Canada's free health care. It's not so good right now. People are having hard time finding doctors. People wait hours to get into appointments. The only thing nice about free healthcare. Is it's free for some people and relatively affordable for other people. But it's not the best healthcare in the world. Like people said, least in America, you can go in and see a doctor and you're in and out pretty quick. But if you don't have free health care yet pay for it

Canada was good, but it has gone downhill immencely in the past decade or so. We are now in the top 5 countries on earth for housing cost to income ratio. Many Canadians can't even afford a home or rent here any more. A one bedroom apartment in Toronto where I live can go for 2,400 a month. Millions of immigrants arriving and the economy has largely stagnated despite all these new people. Lots of blindly partisan Liberals here though that will never admit the country is in serious decline. Don't let them lecture you about healthcare and social safety nets either there are literally MILLIONS of people in Ontario our largest province where I live that can't even access a family doctor even if they were willing to pay for one. With the number of people not being able to access basic medical services here I would not call it unviersal any more.

I visited Florida a few times (for a few months at a time each)... great place to visit. but only visit. aside from the hurricane season, the health care is -expensive-, iffy, yet good at the same time. People switch doctors there frequently cause of this. There is a lot of theft and homeless and raceism. but. its Florida so I'm no longer surprised.

I've been here from August 26th. I live in Saskatoon. Found a job in 8 days, I didn't have a career back home, except for being a mechanic, saftey guy and 2 more diplomas. I started from ground up working at grocery shop, paid the bills, smoked that good weed, can video call my family everyday, hanging out with the boys and chilling. \n\nBut I understand how most people who had a career back in their home is having trouble getting the exact one here. My roommate did software engineering stuff back home and he works with me. \n\nAlso Canadians have been really great with me. I had made some friends.\nAlso I'm 27, so I have time and I understand where he's coming from

I appreciate people making these videos...because people hve misconceptions..that everything is very good here. With high number of people coming in..and infrastructure ( housing/ hospitals/ school) slow to catch up with the population ..we see line ups/ waiting list for everything.

My husband and I lived in Columbus, Ohio for 12 years. During that time we had two babies, but we had insurance so the price tag wasn't too bad, overall. We made good friends there, all different political views but we got along well and it was great. We lived in Ohio both pre and post 9-11. I definitely noticed a difference in the growing patriotism around us. Even pre-9-11 there was a higher level of overt patriotism than I was used to in Canada. For instance, more people had flags in their yards or America-themed bumper stickers than I was used to in Canada. But post 9-11 patriotism grew immensely, and we started to feel like political views were starting to have an effect on friendships. Also, Ohio passed a conceal carry law (firearms), and I found my awareness that anyone around me might have a concealed weapon unsettling. In Canada the only guns anyone I knew owned were hunting rifles, locked up. But suddenly I had to worry about if there were guns in the houses that my children were visiting. As a Canadian, I just wasn't used to the idea of everyone having guns around. Anyway, we overall enjoyed living in Ohio. The cost of living there was reasonable, the people were friendly, and we only moved when the real estate bubble burst and my husband lost his job. We went back to Canada and, honestly, I've been relieved to be back as I watch the news and see how divided the American people have become. Even some of the friends that I had in Ohio have changed and become a lot less accepting of different opinions. It makes me scared for the future of the US, and the effect it all will have on the rest of the world.

I was really offended by this video! I am Canadian, live in Canada and absolutely HATE CANADA!! \nEverything said about USA and how bad certain things are, it’s the exact same here in Canada! Canadians can’t have a normal conversation about politics or religion! Look at what’s happening here? Locking up pastors or anyone preaching the bible! And don’t get me started about politics here! Absolute disgusting politics here and the insane amount of bat shit crazy left wing people that believe everything on msm as if it’s golden. Liberal government here has got to be the worst government in the entire world! Once upon a time they were normal and like all other political parties but now since the plandemic they are all insane! These left wingers think that the vax was a good thing and line up to get pics done with our top criminal Justin Trudeau! It’s sickening! \nSo there is absolutely no difference between Canada and USA! We have horrible cities that are dangerous just like USA. We have horrible pathetic cops that are power hungry and out to destroy lives. I know cops in Canada who were put through hell because they stood up for doing the right thing against other corrupt dangerous cops! They are a gang that wear uniforms and have the rights to abuse their powers. \nThis bothered me so much as it’s certainly calling the kettle black! People thinking they are better than others! \nIt would do the entire world some good to pick up the bible, read it and repent! Every single person on this earth needs to!
