I live in Greece and personally it's fine, but IF I ever moved abroad, I would choose a beautiful little American town, like sometimes you see in the movies. With some nice nature all around it. And have a simple life there, try to marry some girl and have a nice family and barbeque with the neighbors, go fishing, etc. Why would anyone move to the big cities, I mean that is not so smart. I am indonesian, but i’ve lived in Japan and the US for study purpose, and i relate to your experience. Eventhough i had a strong moslem community when i was in Japan/US, and halal food was accessible there, i was still feeling uncomfortable that as a moslem i couldn’t express my identity freely. Whenever i wanted to go for a roadtrip or place outside of my city, i need to search if halal food was available in there or not, while in Indonesia i don’t have to worry about halal food, almost all food are halal, the restaurant usually inform us if their are not halal. Another experience is that in non-moslem country, they didn’t provide many prayer rooms or mosques, that’s also sickening for me. I mean i don’t mind to pray in a random parking lot, or in a park, or in an emergency stairs, or in changing room in mall, or any random places; but i really missed my country where prayer room is available anywhere, you can find prayer room in gas station, in a restaurant, in the mall, in airport/bus station/train station, etc. Also mosques are everywhere too. You are easily going to find mosque after walking around 200m, well yeah there is a reason why Indonesia is a country with the most number of mosques in the world. Another thing is islamic class. When i was in Japan, i could only join an islamic class where people gather to listen from syeikh (or we call it as “pengajian”) once in every other months, in the US was better, mosque in mu place held islamic class every other day. However, in Indonesia, islamic classes are everywhere, it’s like every mosque held their own class, until to the point that i am confused what should i follow because there are so many options ?. The last is that, in moslem country or at least in my country, finding moslems outfit is very easy. So yeah, overall, i prefer to live in moslem countries. Alhamdulillah i was born in moslem country, and alhamdulillah my country’s situasion, eventho not perfect, is peacefull.

I read an article recently that Canada is running their immigration like a shady fly by night credit card company. I am a resident with Muscular Dystrophy in a wheel chair. I am exhausted! I work 5 days a week 8-10 hours a day and I do not feel well at all. I have no choice but to work because I cannot afford to move - What I pay for rent in his city is insane already. There is no where for me to go and there is no way I can find a cheaper place. I feel like I am living a nightmare to be honest. It just getting harder and harder and it seems like the people in Toronto are getting colder and colder. There are no social programs with enough funding and disability income is impossible because it doesn't even scratch the surface of rent costs. Food is completely out of control too. It just feels like I am circling the drain and the will end up homeless eventually. People with disabilities are treated very poorly in this province but in Toronto it is especially cruel and cold.

So I believe it really depends, if you are are a doctor, nurse, even flight attendant probably they will look for that Canadian experience...so to make it short, are you planning to go back to Singapore? I am currently working here in Singapore and getting like more than 10grand a month but it is boring here. In Canada surely I will be able to drive and go to different beautiful places and it is near to US and Europe if you wanna travel. Anyone who crosses the border illegally for any amount of time be it five minutes or 5 years , it’s a life time ban from ever entering this country again . First find a sponsor, than get a visa so you can go to the immigration office and get a background check , if you don’t qualify than too bad it’s not our fault you don’t meet our requirements to be eligible to become a U.S. citizen. If you pass the background check and can prove you can support yourself and have a place to live then you get a green card and you get in line while you are in this country and wait your turn to become a U.S. citizen .

Sorry, I still love Canada, look at what is going on around the world, and quite fine to be here, Most industrialized countries are expensive to live in, no matter where you’re at today, inflation, high accommodation rates, and food increases, are everywhere. Maybe we’re just lucky, but our healthcare around us is quite good, and when I compare to what people pay in the United States for healthcare premiums for average to decent healthcare. It’s a bargain. Never understand people crying about the weather who immigrate here, for Gosh sakes, you moved to a northern climate. What do you expect? Do you really expect the world climate to change for you and to be more like the southern hemisphere country you came from? Weather doesn’t work that way. Why did people leave their original country if they were just so wonderful in the first place? A ton of political instability where they came from and few jobs.

I'm Canadian born and raised.The main problem is too many people are left leaning so we have the same problems as California,to much bureaucracy,high taxes,crime,homelessness,drugs etc that's all a biproduct of liberalism.High taxes are needed to fund left wing policies like the climate scam,giving billions to ukraine,womens groups,gay groups etc the useless bureaucrats have to justify their position so millions of unnecessary and pointless policies are imposed.I'm a welder and the bs you have to go through is so extream many just give up and do something else.As for immigrants it effects them too so we have doctors driving cabs or nurses working at mcdonalds etc these problems really started to be an issue when Canada got progressive in the mid 90s and never recovered.I heard 50k of born and raised Canadians have been leaving every year for the last 3 years with no end in sight.My countrymen need to wake up and dump left wing thinking and bring back the conservatism from the past that built this country or there won't be a Canada.

I came here on 28 August as international student in Vancouver from India and just after 4 days I left canada on 1 sep and came back to india. It's shocking to say within 4 days I returned back, canada is not worth it, people from all world are mixed there it causes problem of fights and #other matters, survival is difficult and cold conditions, that's why population is less there, it is aim of govt that's why attracting migration towards canada but not worth it, we're going there by leaving various things in home country such as home, car, family, nation, property this is foolishness by leaving all utilities of life and to start again from zero in Canada it is big foolishness aslo by leaving nationality, doing struggle of just settling, In my view , we have limited time in life, we're having things and doing hardwork to do those things agin in other nations, its better to do in own country. It doesn't matter opportunites are there in Canada etc, every nation has opportunity, you're from Singapore it's best country do there not leave nation, everyone not have to migrate all have to do in their home countries. In comparison of my country india, canada gone too back from India serioulsly, food is not fresh there freezed fruits same fruits and veges in stores for months, if you like this then reply back I can share my personal and known friends ground REALITY experiences with you..

Today most of the youth go abroad for higher studies and professional courses. These foreign countries have all the benefits and facilities when they want money by enrolling the students into different courses to make their economy greater but when it comes to job and giving employment it is like they are doing a big favour on us.

Canada is country where it harbours terrorists and criminals from other countries in name of political asylum. Go figure what future looks like!

i've been living in vancouver all my life (43 years) and trust me, it wasn't like this before.. sure, it wasn't perfect but since trudeau and his liberal minions took over in 2015, everything started to go downhill and canada became a hellhole.

You guys should go to Qatar, but the problem is that prices are getting very high like Canada but it's a very good muslim country and it might be hard to get a job there, they only give jobs to qataris, but overall it's a nice country.

the country I grew up in and the only place I've ever called home, over the last 10 years or so has all gone so wrong. Our government has lost all touch with its people and operate like a corrupt third world dictatorship. With the mass immigration going on, I, sadly, don't think the home I knew will ever be the same.
