Over one million international student comes to Canada every mostly from punjab Indian, most of them stay and live in canada , add the couple hundreds we get as immigrants and you ll realize why canada is Turner into bombay

Many students don’t even study or even attend College, they work and pay for their Certificates, it is all a Scam , that’s why there is no jobs for Canadians that has so many bills to pay and are now in debts. Get them out so that real Canadians can have jobs and be economically stable.

You pass by my old apartment in this video. I literally had to leave Brampton because im disabled and worked in mississauga and could no longer take the bus anymore because of the influx of students. The buses would literally drive right by you if you had a stroller or mobility aid because there's no way for people to navigate on the bus. Theyre so overcrowded, i imagine theyre running at over max capacity. I would watch elderly people who were even more disabled than myself get on the bus and the international students who were sitting in the disabled seatinv would look up at them and then back down at their phones. I would be yelling at them to give up their seats for other people while i stood on the bus leaning on a cane. They litterally do not care about anyone but themselves. And no matter how many times i complained to Brampton transit about disabled people not being able to properly use their services anymore, nothing came of it

In all fairness to your comment, on these jobs should be going to Canadians,,, why aren’t “ CANADIANS “ lining up for the jobs then? And who is a Canadian according to you? Temporary work visa is different compare to student visa.

If their intention was not studies why canada give them visa. Canada actually can take interview or has facility to reject without reason. Canada is greedy to take 5 to 6 times more money from international students and so can give facility to citizens. If person become it is OK but country become greedy it is not great for region. Canada actually even not get the best talent of india they get average talent people who are little hopeless with competition.

Why you are spreading hate for students. When you should criticize the Canadian government and colleges. Why the government accepted so many visas at first place. Without student visa Indian students cannot come to Canada. But the government only cared about the money. They took the taxes and fees from students and now all hate is going towards students. I admit that the students must follow the rules and regulations. But the government should be accountable for the over immigration.

South Asian Indians are fourth generation Canadians and are educated, successful and have assimilated with the European culture. The french lady should see Montreal, it is cool to see Indians, Chinese speaking French. Do you ask why there are too many Chinese in Chinatown? They are using student visa as backdoor to permanent residence

I met too many international students and most them they were studying on line!!! so they are not need to came to Canada, but the reason is they came for work. Each one has two jobs !!! So the reason coming for work and save money not for study and at the end after graduation they stay in Canada and never come back home.

21st century and sad to see mindsets haven't changed. Stoking more resentment. A lot of their student visas are set to expire, but the Canadian has given them an extension which in turn will give them more points to get their PR cards. Prolonging the current housing shortage. I believe everyone deserves a fair opportunity, but the Canadian government has given preference to a country that is clearly undermining it to a point where they are carrying out assassinations on Canadian soil. The assassins came here on student visas. The current Canadian government is ruining the cultural fabric of this country. Stephen Harper was a great prime minister after all.

Canadian students pay less cause we actually contribute to the country all our life with our taxes.. can't come here and get every benefits real Canadians have. Study and leave. This isnt a free citizenship program, you study and go back to punjab

i worked at a retirement home and i worked with indian students...they didn't want to go back home after school.

They are here in student visa... asking for something forcefully, in a way that shows that they do not expect to be refused. GET THEM OUT!!

Canada Immigration used to be so competitive 16 years ago. The cause of this mass immigration is the current government who granted visa to developing countries knowingly the fees are not affordable still visa was granted for a cheap labor.People move around seeking better quality of life. The charm of Canada was Health Care, Education. sixteen years ago I had seen my immigrants, and student who came to Canada for grad studies. Canada had a strict immigration rules and having permanenet resident was an achievement, dream felt so privilege.

As an Indian, I would like to apologize to the natives. That lady spoke the truth - if you are moving to a new country, you have to adapt and respect their culture so that they can accept you easily. Most people coming to Brampton don't even know how to communicate in English. I would like to share a true story that happened to me. In 2021, I was coming to Canada and I was standing in the boarding pass queue at the airport when a guy asked me how to spell Canada. I was in complete shock. How can you go to Canada as a student when you can't even spell it?

Coz those 1st floor colleges diplomas are good for nothing. Hi True North, I'm from India not in Canada ?. if they were promised to give PGWP after course completion and they received that and now they are asking for further extension then yes send them back. But if the PGWP was not even granted to them in the first place then it's a scam, the Canadian government has to give what was promised. They contributed to your economy in dollars (which is not easy if someone is coming from India) they deserve to earn in dollars as well. Also, some students took loans as well . However, I understand Canadian citizens' frustration too but it was the Canadian government's mistake when they invited immigrants just for the sake of money.

When I was student in My university have been students and friends around the world wide but My university have been done cooperation in Education with University of cambridge and others Universities around the world wide Latin America City iquitos Peru

International student program was a disaster to start with.\nFunny thing is Indians like myself were opposing this program. \nAnother part of this disaster is that 90 percent of these students are from only 1 province in India.\nSend them back.\nThis immigration has damaged the social thread of canada.

International students were sold a false bill of goods. They were scammed by “immigration consultants” in India who promised them that the students won’t have a problem finding a job or housing and that they would get\n\na proper education. Hopefully the real truth is now out and their numbers will slowly be reduced in time.
