Where else in this world would something like this be allowed? Only in America.

It's a damn shame. We can't protect our own border but we want to send troops to try and protect everyone else

I'm Canadian, born and raised, and there's no where else in the world I'd rather live. The only downside to living in Canada is the proximity to the US, and how their politics bleeds into this country.

Regardless of what that was intended for, it looks like a knife and can be used as one. If i was there wearing that i would have been arrested also. I would need a special permit to wear that where i live an work, but it would bot be allowed in scholls or govermnent buildings because it can be used as a weapon, by its owner or someone else. Because instead of offering economic prosperity, Canada offers economic serfdom. Why else would they be bringing in more people than anywhere else in the world. Sure, Canada needs $15 security guards and $20/ hour truck drivers, but in Canada you'll never have a decent life on that level of income. I know when I came back from working in the US I was offered a variety of technical jobs at about a third of what I was paid in the US.

As someone who lived abroad (Germany, japan, Holland, etc,) people rolled their eyes when I made the same complaints as you. \n\nIt's been a horrendously managed country for decades. I’m a born and raised Canadian now living in Germany for 3 years, and although I agree Canadians can sometimes be difficult to befriend and get to know, I don’t agree that it’s easier to strike conversation in Germany at all ? My first months here up until a year were extremely intimidating, of course due to language barrier but also due to the fact that some Germans can come off quite harsh and the air gets heavy here. I’m from Montreal (a bit sad this city wasn’t mentioned), but I’ve never felt that way there or anywhere else in Canada tbh

Canada is not a free country as they advertise .... There are a lot of socialist behaviors by the government to control what you say and do. taxes are high, with many layers of tax on tax on tax then user fees for most things. Not sure what will become of this place with 3% of the population -> 1.2 million new people in Canada this year alone and plans to keep increasing that number. Canada will not be what it is today it will be something else similar to the mass migration waves into Canada 100 years ago.

Immigration should be matched with jobs available in the economy and housing availability. Liberals have targets for immigration for the sake of having targets that they think will win them elections but like everything else they are wrong here too

Naw really? We never asked for the liberals WEF agenda. Alhamdulillah I left Canada. \nWe did not like the lifestyle and the unsafe surroundings. \nI had a driver's license and had everything but not nice. \nMy family had student visas but except for climate, we had nothing else to like. \nDon't waste time or money going to Canada, not worth it.

England is a country not a religion. We have a government for rule, not a church or anything else. You believe what you want but dont insist that others do the same. Muslims come into a country or are even born in a country that the majority don't live like they want so they club together, multiply, dont integrate into the majority or native system forcing the non believers to leave as they are made to feel uncomfortable for non being Muslim. Make the best of what you got somewhere else, before coming to Canada

Canada is tundra region. Historically humans never lived in masses above tropics mean humans are not biologically conditioned to live in that region. All pure or majority Anglo Saxon nation like UK, Canada, Australia and NZ have high property prices by design as it gives false sense of prosperity among service class if export is not huge. Canada and Australia has resources but what Australia has is good weather compared to Canada which is not really suitable for humans. To live in such conditions humans need to earn much in excess of what rest of the world earns else new immigrants will ditch Canada for other comfortable places to immigrate to.

So what else is new?? Cost of living is up everywhere.... They will all come to the United States where cost of living is even higher...

I would not recommend anyone moving to Canada unless starting from scratch (and all the sacrifices that come with it) is more attractive than their current lifestyle abroad. That being said, Canada is not what it was 10 years ago. The only persons benefiting right now are those that gained off appreciating real estate in the 2010s and their kids. It is a tough time financially for everyone else.

Canada is the only best country in the world. Go somewhere else then you will find out.

Well the current government wants to take our personal property away, control the media, limit our rights, make it so expensive we have to choose between putting a roof over our head or eating. I live in northern ontario, about 3 hours from Toronto. Here houses with huge yards are from $100,000 to a million. My own with 6 acres, a new house is $300,000 and lots of jobs here. Why is Toronto sacrosanct? Look somewhere else.

You have tried to explain very well the initial struggle faced by new immigrants. This does take years and sometimes decades to settle down properly in a new country for first generation. First generation Indians try to save as much as they can while cutting corners. Things have relatively become much easier as there are plenty of jobs for those who have professional degrees and substantial experience. I personally found Canadian bachelor of engineering was far superior than masters of computer science in USA. I enjoyed spending four years in downtown Toronto while full time studying in late 80’s before moving back to USA. Someone else mentioned here in previous thread that all of their friends are much better off in India. I feel more or less the same way in spite of having three engineering degrees and 40 years experience. I am strong believer in Karmas, your destiny will take you where you’re supposed to be. The problem is the US, we need to fix our problems at home with immigration first!!!! \nWe have immigrants on the waiting list, doing the right thing by following the law!!! I'm not Indian, I'm indigenous from Canada and I grew up in Vancouver, where the population is mostly from Asia. Being surrounded by people of asian descent is very normal for me. I don't expect anyone to assimilate and lose their culture to exist here. I knew we had a large population of Sikhs here but I didn't think it was nearly as many as in India... and now I find out there are more sikhs here than in India. Amazing. I also didn't know we had so many Sikhs in parliament, let alone Indians. My school is mostly Indian and everyone I talk to has come from Punjab. Everyone seems to love it here, and the school is in the middle of little Punjab so I've been told by my classmates it is the perfect place for the students who are homesick because they are surrounded by their community. I rarely hear English when I walk down the halls, there is even a course to learn to speak Punjabi, which I want to take so I can talk to the students who don't speak English as well. We have many large gurdwaras, and one near me I've eaten langar almost everyday for the past 10 years. Most people here know Sikhs to be very generous and humble. It was a shock to me when I heard the president of Guru Nanak Gurdwara was shot, because I believed Sikhs to be very kind and peaceful, and the gurdwara has a very good reputation as they take lots of food into Vancouver and feed the homeless. They even opened a kitchen in the DTES during the pandemic to be able to have food available to the people immediately. No one else did anything like that. They delivered a lot of food. Now they have an auxiliary kitchen in the DTES permanently that serves free meals. I thought more news would come out of the shooting but it seemed quiet for a bit until Trudeau accused the Indian government of the attack. This news also shocked me, so I decided to start looking into it slowly. I couldn't really get a good idea of what was going on until I searched a video for Diwali and your videos came up. I will share it with my husband so he can be educated on the matter as well. Thank you for your diligent research and dissemination of important knowledge.

Europe is a scam first you come and you need to learn the language which already you started in your country then working and working and your salary can just pay your bills and if you are lucky you have some money to go for a cheap vacation ... after that if you want to move to another country in Europe it is the same like to move to the US ... the schengen area is good only for citizens of Europe that is all any reisdent is not allowed to work anywhere else iit is like a prison to use you and then throw you back to your home country when your visa is canceled .... they have many rules many laws many bureaucracy it is a nightmare i hope i move out to canada very soon and i will never comeback to Europe even for a holiday !
