Every religion has some rules, but we just can not follow them everywhere.
2022-10-07 0
okay, can your religion bend some rules here. how and why you think strangers shouldn't dhund that hazardous?
2022-10-07 0
Follow the rules of country in which you live
2022-10-07 0
That is a rule in their country and all have to follow thw rules of the land. I get that we Indians are very sensitive about religion...but guys
2022-10-07 0
This is a shit rule and it needs to change.period. move on from this idiotic religious belief? As if any religion other than sikhs are so safe that they don't require self defense. IDOTIC.
2022-10-07 0
Why would anyone bring something like that to a public place or school. Your religion and culture is yours personal, but the security rules are for everyone.
2022-10-07 0
As a Indian people say kirpan a knife or weapon. what about other religion ? As per a Muslim hijab it's not so necessary to wears it all time but in Sikh religion who practices a Amrit dhari are necessary to carry a kirpan and a kirpan not longer than 4 or 6 inches as per American rules ?
2022-10-07 0
Dude when you're in college follow their rules not your grandfather's.
2022-10-07 0
I am from India and I never seen my b Sikh friends roaming everywhere with a kirpan . If your in another country respect their culture and rules . Don’t try to show off. The cop was right . He was roaming with a dangerous weapon.
2022-10-06 0
Stupid act. You violate the rules and talk about culture and religion. That’s not the India I know bro.
2022-10-06 0
They go to Amreeka and Kanedda like it's their uncle's house . Fucking respect their rules why don't you. Sikhs carried a weapon back in the day of Aurangzeb and his Jihadi agendas as a method of self defence. You don't have to take it with you everywhere now . And ff sake dont be so damn loud all the time.
2022-10-06 0
I think you should be allowed to carry a weapon on campus, BUT rules are rules. Religion should not give you special privileges to break rules.
2022-10-06 0
Rule is rule no matter it's ur culture or not, u can't bring a weapon inside a university, u r a fool for doing that
2022-10-06 0
Be a Greek in Greece..follow rules of the land.. For example, weed is legal in some of the states in US but it is totally illegal in India and you could get arrested...
2022-10-06 0
Is kripan some fashion accessory! Lol. \nAlso, people in India understand the symbolism of kripan. However, when you leave your country and stay somewhere else you got to follow their rules instead of calling victim. It’s plain stupid tbh.
2022-10-06 0
No religious rules applied on school or university..
2022-10-06 0
Don't leave your territory your country. It's right in context to other countries. If you go to different nation it's their rules their land. For example Muslim nations don't allow other religions and practices in their territory while they do all they want in different countries. You can't have a citizenship in middle eastern countries and half of the middle eastern people are American now. Rules are equal for all, don't get offended though.
2022-10-06 0
keep your relogious belief at your home state ..even in india they should nt be alllowed to carry this in public outside their home state. nobody can guarantee the mental state of a human.recently a video went viral where a sikh guy who was a goon publicy stabbed a person over a verbal fight. well done by police and there was no need for apology by college. a country or state should run by their own rules and culture .
2022-10-05 0
it is a weapon for them \nu should try to follow their rules
2022-10-05 0
It's against the rule to bring the kirpan in educational institutions.
2022-10-05 0
He's in a different country and HAS TO follow their rules and customs. Can't do the kisan andolan there ?
2022-10-05 0
I am an Indian and even I will not support this. Religion should be followed in homes and not in institutions like colleges. The educational institution can have its own rules. Incidents of rage can happen at any time and can not be predicted.
2022-10-05 0
I think some people in a comment section are so dumb they apologized for what happened and some fucking people from India criticizing that they should follow the rules lol even in Europe we have right to carry kirpan bcoz maybe gore can understands Sikh religion more then some people in India
2022-10-05 0
What's the point of carrying the knife? This is all bull sh**. Put him in the jail nobody is allowed to break rules of someone else's house.
2022-10-05 0
U should follow the rules of land where we living.
2022-10-05 0
I'm an Indian and if i go to someone else house I should follow their rules... Keep your religion at home..... I support the arrest
2022-10-05 0
With due respect for everyone's religious sentiments, I think creating exception here and there is fine as long as it does not violate safety related rules. Naamdhari sikhs should think of ways to carry their religious identity within the ambit of evolving social norms and rules.
2022-10-05 0
It's not your country, rule is rule
2022-10-05 0
I have worked for almost five years in a reputed lab in Panjab, India. Trust me; no one brought any weapons to the lab in the name of religion. When we live in an organization, we need to follow their rule, even in India.
2022-10-05 0
I think taking knife in other countries society is bad idea we know it's culture but we should follow rules and regulation in every countries
2022-10-05 0
Just wear it inside stupid. You know the rules. Campus is no weapons zone. If you still want to wear it, atleast hide it or wear it inside your shirt. You are not in punjab. And the campus won't change their policy for one kid. Crying out loud, smh.
2022-10-05 0
But why to break rules in someone's else country.
2022-10-05 0
Imagine this happening in India only in here they can vandalise stuff and get away with it most of the time respect the rules of the land you live in it's a safety Hazzard none the less
2022-10-05 0
So I work for the prison service in the UK. Our Sikh chaplain wears a knife as part of his religion. Except, the blade is make from rubber and has no sharp edge to it.\n\nWhy not do this?? People feel so entitled that they can go against rules to keep others safe in the name of religion! Get a grip
2022-10-05 0
There country There rules
2022-10-05 0
I don't want to say any word on this stupidity ? one question ,, school and college are for education there is one specific dress code for all children, and everyone should follow the rules of schl and clg,so why we involve our religion as a hindu I oppose this?pls stop this nonsense, if this is right so why we are against the hijab in indian school and clg ?? If all religions start following their culture and rituals in colleges then from tomorrow a hindu will start wearing dhoti kurta, sari, rudarkhs, mushlim will wear hijab, kurta lungi ??so pls stop this nonsense ???
2022-10-05 0
you have to follow the rules if you are going outside countries to fuck..
2022-10-04 0
Amritpaan Sikhs need to come out of 18th century, religious rules were made according to situations of that time.
2022-10-04 0
Sahi hai. We have to respect their rules.
2022-10-04 0
I know I might seem like an asshole but,\nWith so many school shooting going on, i think this type of reaction with somebody carrying a weapon is normal and should be encouraged. There is a rule prohibiting sharp objects and still this young man brought his kirpan, I think formal permission should have been taken by him. Completely valid response and hope the institution and religion have some sort of agreement and sort this out in a mutually beneficial way.
2022-10-04 0
Obey the rule
2022-10-04 0
Follow the rule of the land, which gave you citizenship and its benefits. I would do the same.
2022-10-04 0
If you live in other country you have to follow their rules , nothing wrong in that
2022-10-03 0
Sabko videsh pasand h, apne desh ki zaadi mei log secularism aur rule of law ki bate bolte h. Dekh lo waha samjhao ye sab pele bhi jaoge aur kuch kar bhi nhi paoge

When in Rome, Do as the Romans Do' refers to the importance of adapting yourself to the customs of the people who are in a certain place or situation and behave like they do.\n\nThis was copied from Google, just one suggestion for fellow Indians Respect other countries rules and regulations too.\nHe could have skipped college for few days or should had taken permission before.
2022-10-03 0
Wicked lame uncultured security forces in support I’ve very silly rules. Everybody with any exposure knows them sike (never learned the spellin) cats are good dudes that feed people… super stupid environment
2022-10-03 0
I can understand if it rule and same for all, but there was no need to handcuff him it is well known that all sikhs carry such knives what is the fuss?
2022-10-03 0

2022-10-03 0
The police did the right thing. He can wear that and move around in India but USA is a different country with a different set of rules.
