Yup. As a Canadian citizen with Chinese background who is now moving permanently to the US, I testify. I’m not settling for the cold characterless mediocrity that is Canada. On the streets in the shops of my city English is spoken about 50% of the time and about 80% of the people you see aren't even from Canada. White & Native homeless everywhere in Canada

So many sly comments against Indians but when you went to the most dangerous part of Brampton, it was all ethnic white Canadians, who are drug addicts and homeless. So Indians aren't the problem here. Canada brought in too many immigrants and the local ethnic population could not compete with newcomer Indians who can often endure a lot of hardships and find innovative ways to earn money and live decently. Yes there may be 15 in a house in some places but at least they're not doing drugs or roaming homeless. Not immigrants' fault that the govt miscalculated and locals couldn't compete with the newcomers.

Came here about 8 years ago from eastern Europe. Love it in Canada! It's not perfect, but again no country is. We enjoy the easy-going people, the feeling of freedom, and access to good jobs (doing much better economically than back in the old country) and the multi-cultural atmosphere . Many thanks to kind, open-minded Canadians who have made us feel at home.

As a Canadian, I like seeing this coverage of a very true issue. Currently, the polls say Pierre will get in the next election but how much good that will do - only time will tell. Currently if you can afford to move and don't have anything tying you down in Canada, you should move and many of my friends have. Some to Europe, some to the US. Exactly , I am a minority myself but when my kids and I came back from our vacation in Florida I have exactly the same feeling .. did I land in India or Canada . I live in Richmond Hill ont and over here people of Middle Eastern descent is everywhere and even the welcome centre here is filled with them . I was here in the early 80s and so much has changed . When I was 14 I learnt English cos I wanted to move to Canada. Now not anymore. Canada and the west as a whole is in ruins thanks to mass immigration and other issues. Our world is so broken

The issue is not only in Brampton. The same thing is happening in some parts of Quebec where there's a massive influx of undisarable immigrants, specially from Arabic and Maghreb regions as a result that crimes skyrocketed, inflation went out of control and there's a vibe and a culture of imposition. This result to a decline of the life quality and threating decline of the orginal values of what Canada is.
