This is sickening to see, i feel bad for those that came here the correct way and got their citizenship. Ive read alot of comments that say well if the usa didnt have such stringent rules to become a citizen, then this wouldnt happen. Thats like applying for a job without giving them any information about yourself, and expecting to get that job with no experience. Is it so bad these people should learn about our history and culture, need to be bi lingual and go through the entire vetting process? The answer is they should because if we went to anyother country, we would be expected to learn about their culture. You cant even live in cananda unless you have a certain amount of money and takes years to become a citizen, why shouldnt our border be any different? The fact of the matter is our government needs to wake up, put politics aside and address the issues. I have no problem with people coming here, it they need to become legel and pay taxes like everyone else. We are sick of paying for people that do nothing to contribute to our economy. Also, how about how amazing it is that supposedly balanced news networks never seem to balance out their reports by including such realities of the situation in their slanted propaganda reports.\nAlso, I see lots of mentions of large homeless populations in America as being the excuse of why America can't possibly help.\nYet, no doubt all these commenters likleu blane homeless people for being homeless despite how the employment is at record lows and employers are desperately looking for anyone to work for them. It's almost like they don't see how the effects of employers offering wages too low to support paying rent being mixed with large investment firms buying up all the Housing stock and enacting policies of constantly evicting current tenants to increase rental prices isn't a major component in the problem.\nThe reality is, the housing crises could be easily fixed by raising minimum wage to a living wage and restricting investment firms from using residential housing as investment stocks especially as one of their tactics seems to be to intentionally not rent out large portions of their housing stock to create a shortage in supply, this driving up demand along with rental prices.\nYou can't honestly complain about the homeless crisis while ignoring the fact that corporations are intentionally keeping rentals empty to drive up rental prices. I'm pretty sure that fits within one of the definitions of insanity.

You have to pay the government their share for everything, private business isn’t legal without government permission, can’t hunt/fish without government involvement, can’t build a self sufficient home without government involvement and regulation. We even made up our own version of history just to brainwash these past few generations. And it worked, because people have had the collective knowledge of human history at their fingertips since the late 2000s…. It’s called the fucking internet, And maybe 5% of Americans took advantage of that and informed themselves. The other 95% just soaked up YT and Tik Tok while they make repugnant Baaa Baa claims about the left and right. Just constantly feeding into this division THEY created. The left and right are owned by THE SAME PEOPLE and the these people put who they want in office. There’s underlying parts of our government that fight this, and get people they don’t particularly like in the door. Like the Kennedy’s and Trump but we have no value in voting. It’s just another way to suck on that big red white and blue dick. The truth is we are the sovereign people, and we hold sovereignty over this country, and it’s our goddamn responsibility to fight the fucking corruption that’s in our government. Look at the world right now, the people in countries that don’t have legislation like the 2A are rising against their governments. Even tho I don’t think this is correct, U.S people luckily finds themselves on a good position to see this just as people making a tantrum to enter the U.S, proudly I say I’m Mexican American and I’ve lived in Mexico and Brasil as well, non of those Latin American countries I lived is as bad as Venezuela and even like that I’ve seen some very messed up shit, they are countries with a huge culture and beautiful but on the lowest levels it’s a pretty dark place to be…so for the USA people here that is heavily throwing shit, be some kind of human try to understand at least , I get it, I don’t think this is the way neither, but they are not just people trying to invade to take over or whatever, I even saw a comment saying that they should shoot those Venezuelans, the world is a pretty messed up thing now, and luckily or unluckily we don’t really know a shit about it, they are DESPERATE it seem like they were violent and most probably some of them tried to get violent but most of them is just desperate people trying to have it better in their only and one only lives..worst yet, if you have a kid, imagine how worried would you feel for not being able to provide your kid with a good life… see the people in the front for example, they were people begging and crying, is being desperate for having something better, and this is a really biiiiiiig subject with a lot of issues, wrongs, misunderstanding… you don’t know how bad is going in Venezuela, not even me, but I can imagine it cuz I know how bad some people have it in Mexico, and they don’t know how them illegally getting into the US is going to affect the US, I try to get all points so I don’t think this is correct, this kind of events shouldn’t be happening, but I also understand, just to put it in perspective, I’ve talked with some people from Venezuela and they’ve told me some crazy stuff, quick example. McDonalds something most American people know …for one person only it can be around 15 - 20 bucks, in Venezuela, and I think minimum wage rn is around 6.15 bucks and if it’s good it can be around 20 - 30 A MONTH, now apply this formula to EVERYTHING, housing, bills, expenses and I think things in Venezuela for a little bit better not that long ago,so it was worst than what I just told you, imagine you finish college you have somehow of a decent life and for things you don’t understand and no one advise you of, next week your job, money is not even half of the value it had last week, imagine if it was you and your family, your kids…I don’t have kids but I know my mom would’ve done anything for trying and give me not even a luxurious life, but a kinda decent life, and I know most of people would’ve done the same, and not only for your kids, also your mom, dad, sisters, brothers and even YOURSELF…again, I’m not saying this is correct or it’s not I’m just saying at the end our surrounding make us do whatever we are doing….I get you not being okay with this, but try to be comprensible and not go straight into hate for this people. \n\nUnfortunately I wouldn’t imagine anything to solve this problem and I hope something better comes for the entire world right now …but I just doubt it…

The issue here is not that we have a housing crisis , first of all let’s start with honesty. I have multiple friends from different culture backgrounds, however, one thing that sticks out to me , and some of you may not want to hear it , it’s that most of my friends that are predominantly “white” have become homeless or nearly missed it by being able to get some rental assistance either through local or federal grants. With that being said, I’m an American as well but in all reality it’s mostly immigrants or their offsprings that I witness myself still living regularly even during and after covid,why is that ? Why ….

Get the military there no force them to stop. We have to treat them as hostile unfortunately because it’s them coming here and destroying everything or trying our hardest to stop them from coming. If they did this to any other country like Russia or Iran or china or even Mongolia, they would probably execute or arrest you on sight.

Close the border. Americans tax dollars shouldn't have to pay for refugees when they're struggling to get by themselves. People can't afford to go to college in the U.S., it's so expensive. Cost of living goes up all the time. I have multiple degrees and can't really find a job and when I do, they always want to pay very low and def much lower than they started your counterparts at. There's a ridiculous homeless issue in the U.S. where I've met plenty that apply for jobs all the time and do not get hired. They even ask random people if they can work for them just for food, literally just for food. There are people everywhere that take things for granted including the U.S. but that's not the issue here. There are U.S. leaders that steal your money in taxes and retirement funds then misuse the funds. How is it fair for a hard working individual to have 30% of their gross removed from there paycheck then still required to pay the government when filing income taxes. You can buy a house, pay it off and never own it. The government is your forever landlord because property taxes are always due and are increased whenever authorities want them increased. Every country has serious issues.

Immigrants have more “rights” and “programs” to help them succeed and contribute to the American society than those born here. Problem is a large percentage aren’t coming here to seek a better life. They work and send everything home for their families to live better in that country. Or commit violent crimes and burden the state even worse. If a politician supports a vetting process then they are deemed “racist”. Fact is America is moving backwards. Won’t be long before you see crowds like this trying to get out.

Unfortunately we can thank Biden for this! When most of us can't even find affordable housing I wonder where all of these people are actually going to sleep? Latin here, I came here legally but I can tell you that it was difficult as hell for my mom to bring me here, it took money and years for that, but I want you as a fellow citizen to understand their situation first, in Latin America you could be graduation from college and even with that having a good job it’s difficult sometimes, unlike here education in Latin America is not always something that all people can get and every time they vote for someone it becomes more trashier, housing for the poor doesn’t even exist, half of the country is corrupt and going outside you don’t who you may find, my brother needs to wait 7 years to become a resident (not citizen) he will be 30 something at that point, what the government should do is make the residency easier and I can tell you something like this wouldn’t occur that easily, my mom is a lawyer in my country and I can tell you the situation wasn’t easy, every three times a week there would be shooting outside my house, drug dealer was my neighbor, and at the age of 15 there would parents of two kids the sad part all this is normal, stopping it is imposible because it gets you kill, the police will kill you for doing a peaceful protest just to stop feminicide, wanting your kid to go outside without being scare something would happen to them, this people want peace and a job that is it and when your own country doesn’t even give you the right for that how could you live? Latin America is like living in the worst state in U.S multiply by 1000 and happening the same thing every day, riots or protest are imposible there because you know the police will never go the peaceful way, what this people are doing is wrong but they just want to live, it even surprise how much people hate their president here when in Latin America there hasn’t been any good president in decades. Sad reality is these people are better dressed and look more healthy than 90% of Us citizens. These are definitely not all people that are in fear for their lives. They clearly have had food and water and some kind of life. What about our citizens in violent cities? Especially the ones who have no food, shelter, family, nothing to keep them away from violent people... Where can an American go for asylum? Where can we find refuge from our corrupt politicians? From the mentally illand violent? Its even worse thinking that these people will get treated better than those who have fought for this country. Risking life and limb to protect freedom. My people bn here 400 plus years cant get medical care or affordable housing but we got these immigrants flooding over here and having there babies free of charge and getting low income housing, amongst other things and there not even citizens and cant even speak English, im not for it because theres no way someone could go to there country and go to the front of the line. The thing is, these people have no legal right to entry, regardless of their circumstances. 99% of those charging the boarder are economic migrants with no valid claim to asylum. Making it here (or past the boarder) doesn’t equal being able to stay here. The house will very likely flip to the Republicans in 2024. With even a possible super majority. As will the presidency. This means that most of these people will face mass deportation. And all their struggles to get here will have been for naught.

What I don't get is why all the way here in the US when they could actually make a great living anywhere else in Mexico. That money they spent with the cartels they could have put it to work for self employed outside of where they are running from . Soo why does it have to be in the US? They could very well make a living in Mexico. Even better.

I have an apartment in Manhattan, costs the same as I would pay in Australia. Australia is also very focused on connections and who you know - which school (let alone University) you went to will just about determine your career progression / ability to even get into an industry. VERY WOKE. Aggressively favors women - if you are a guy or have boys, do not move there and expect opportunities for advancement. You are very unlikely to get PR and citizenship after study (those days are gone).

Even if they get through the border, what's next? What are they going to do in the USA, most of them doesn't even know how to speak in English. Why these people even go there? Someone is selling them a false dream.
