Stop spreading hate for punjabis BBC. CANADA NEEDS TO RECONSIDER ITS IMMIGRATION POLICIES NOT ONLY FOR PUNJAB BUT ALSO FOR ARAB COUNTRIES THAT SENDS REFUGEES IN 1000s. Students do work but refugees don’t. They claim disability benefits and live for free without paying taxes.

What is the benefit of coming to Canada now?
\nWhen Canada opened up in the seventies, there were many advantages to coming to Canada. Back then there was a lot of work in the lumber industry in western Canada and big factories in eastern Canada. In those days, if you were willing to do any work, you would get a job within 8-10 days.
\nIn 1990, a bachelor apartment went for $500 a month and a one-bedroom was $600 a month.
\nAlmost all would get their 3-4 bedroom house within 10 years.
\nGroceries used to be so cheap that $200 a month could support the entire family. The telephone bill was $10 per month. A Vancouver-Toronto bus ticket was only $100.
\nSchool education was good, children had to give exams. It used to be very easy to see a doctor. Buses were less crowded.
\nNow the standard of education has gone down so much that children become like robots after finishing school. If you have to go to the hospital, you have to wait for 8-10 hours to see the doctor.
\nNew immigrants find basements for shelter. Getting your own house has become a dream now. Those who have bought houses will have to pay the mortgage for a long time. Many homeowners are paying interest only, there is no reduction in the principal.
\nBus service is so sparse that sometimes more than 100 passengers wait for a 38-seater bus.
\nInternational students are in a very bad situation. Spend 25-30 lakhs, live 4-5 together in basements and do hard labor jobs (warehousing, retail cashier, security). Even if they do 2 years diploma they do not get any good job, only minimum wage jobs.
\nThose with good jobs or jobs (income of eighty thousands or more) should come to Canada with a lot of thought, because when they come here, they are all considered workers and they have to find low-paying jobs and have to live in often in basements.

Been working in Canada for 11 years now. Used to be a safe place to live but not anymore. The health care system is stupid, more more taxes, the rent is so high, everything is ridiculously expensive. Now i am sending all my money back home, and leaving Canada in a year

Country is being invaded thanks to a tyrannical government. Media has been complacent. If you think immigration levels are too high, they label you a racist. Canada betrayed its own people.

China and Russia are the future, folks. Canada, just like the UK, is void of manufacturing. It's financial economy

12 year wait for a doctor, three months for a blood test cannot walk into a clinic since covid, have to book online, but can't book online without a doctor, check every day for an appt space- none avail. Literally NO access to medical care and in the ER after seven hours wait they misdiagnose you and fail. Surgery wait is years, and they wont give you a day or time for an appointment, they say they will call you months later to book a time and then never do. There is no longer health care in Canada. Then there is the cost of housing. Then there is Trudeau making news reporting and websites he doesnt like illegal and pushing through laws to let the govt jail you for speech they dont like using anonymous accusers.

Canada is a complete fluke and a fake country that tries to entice you but delivers nothing. U.S.A is far better and with more opportunities as well.

David Rosenberg, a prominent Canadian economist, questions the logic behind increasing immigration amidst a 40% drop in production rates. Many residents with strong ties abroad contribute minimally to the economy, often sending earnings overseas. This trend raises concerns about the effectiveness of immigration policies, suggesting a potential exploitation of Canada's economy. In other words, there's a need to recruit immigrants who can actively contribute to growing the Canadian economy and ensure policies align with national economic interests.

Fine, let them go. Basically Canada should offer three choices for immigrants:\n\n1) bring in enough money with you to enjoy a good life\n\n2)work hard after arriving to make enough money and enjoy a good life\n\n3) leave Canada if you don’t have money and don’t want to work hard for a good life.\n\nNo one should be entitled to a good life, especially when they just arrived. the last thing we need is to pay for people to immigrate and stay here. We should have the same standard for everyone, no matter where they are from.

My heart goes out to seniors in Canada most on fixed incomes what chance do they have. \nTrudeau and the Liberal Party have destroyed the meaning of Freedom.\nThey can be defeated the minute the NDP leader grabs a brain

Canada’s problems are simple - they were all created by Trudeau and the Liberal policies. They spend without counting.

Canada is totally overrated by the canadian government imigration propaganda. It has been trapping naive people all around the world. It could be called SCAMNADA.\nBasicly the whole canadian population live very close the US border due the miserable freezing endeless drepressing 9 months cold weather. Nobody wants go north. Freezing weather makes life unbearable and extremely expensive.

I am in Canada for 17 years and I love this country. It literally saved my life. Although I have to admit that it is a matter of surviving nowadays. My husband is a senior piping designer and he can't find a job for more than a year and was on and off the job for last 6 years. I am an internationally trained doctor and I can't find anything for myself. I can't afford pursuing my profession as it's too expensive and takes years with no certainty thag you will even get into industry. So I'm looking for all other jobs. But I'm either overqualified or don't have Canadian experience. So we have money just for a few months to survive... With 2 kids it's even more stressful... We barely can afford our rent... And we can't go back home as we left it so many years ago, no connections for job there too. So we really just pray everyday...

Story on Immigration and interviewing an International student?. An international student aims to complete studies and seize opportunities, whether in Canada or elsewhere. Conversely, immigrants often relocate with the goal of settling in their new country. When an immigrant leaves Canada, it highlights potential shortcomings in retaining qualified individuals who have navigated the complexities of immigration, oftentimes taking years to get approvals. This departure underscores challenges within Canada's immigration system, raising questions about its effectiveness in retaining talent and fostering a welcoming environment.

Not recently but always it was different from what you hear about Canada.\nHowever, high costs of living are gone up at every country.\nI left Canada two years ago for a job in Europe. Prices went up here as well.\nBut one thing that is different: I came as engineer, I work as engineer. In Canada, that's impossible. As soon as you have an accent, you are considered as not qualified for the job. It like you are applying for the English teacher not engineer. It's hard for adults to change the accent. That's why it's easier to leave.

Justin Trudeau has painted a false\nPicture, a false narrative of a better life in Canada for people leaving their impoverished lives in their country of origin.\nIf you can find housing, expect to pay extremely high prices, which will negatively affect your ability to pay for food, medicine, electric power, water, and internet costs of living.\nBe prepared to work 2 or 3 part-time jobs because unless you have an advanced university degree and skill set in a needed field, that will be your reality in Canada.

A friend of mine in Wales??????? actually said it best that, in regards to military might and overall mentality, it could be said that the USA?? is the son closest to the father??. Canada?? is the well-behaved first born but the USA is the rebellious son more like the father in his prime (which the father hates to admit?).

well housing and for health care cost of living. the new middle class to live comfortable afford rent groceries car payments and to have some saving need to make at least 11k a month after taxes 11k a month after taxes is like 200k in canada for health care to even see a doctor sure ok we get referral but that referral takes 8 months to go and see an referral. i worked 2 full time jobs in the trades to try and get ahead that 2 full time trade mens jobs and i looked at my taxes was 5 months of income in taxes. so i quit one job. i ncanada your penealized for working harder when there is a single mom who has no job has 4 kdis making 5k a month from child benefits and welfare

For those that says that Canada Sucks, go to Any country in Latin America and you will test the ugly truth, if we compare those Hispanic countries with Canada, CANADA IS THE PARADISE, I've been living many years in Mexico, and let me tell you something, taxes are really high there as well, in any job they fire you with no previous advise, and about safety is on the floor, d4ed people everyday, g@nsh0ts, m4f!a, k!dn4p!ng in every normal day, you cannot go out alone in the night or at any hour, so Canada is not perfect but is much more better than docenes of other countries, including European countries....
