I am Indian and the lady who was talking about adapting to the culture in the country you’re in, is absolutely right. \nBut then, Canada also needs immigrants and workers who can take up minimum wage jobs and most of them pay taxes. But yes, there are also antisocial elements that cause problems for everyone. Perhaps, to Canadianize the immigrants, the Govt can have cultural exposure and introduction classes. I wont make a drastic change but would definitely be a start. That being said, I am not sure how Homelessness and Drug Addiction is a related to immigration, I would consider it a mental health problem.

Little late to the conversation, but i only recently discovered this channel. I can agree with the majority of opinions in general, politics, guns, healthcare etc are all better here in Canada. Sure there may be safe pockets in the US but that’s not typically an issue in Canada. You don’t need to strategize where to live here based on that stuff, but may need to take into account the weather as it drastically varies within Canada. \nMoving to the US would typically be based on a job opportunity and likely wouldn’t provide much choice in location - go where the work is and unless it’s opening a small shop somewhere or working in a rural setting, you’re likely going to be in a bigger city where the majority of the violence is. Even so, with laws like ‘stand your ground’ you could get shit anywhere if you piss off the wring person. In Canada, you might yell at each & flip them off, then you just walk away without concern of being shot. You might get jerseyed though. ?

Him being deported or not doesn't matter, the rules and regulations that allow such inexperienced drivers drive these huge dangerous rigs is a huge problem. I get that the economy suffers from a job shortage in the truck driving sector, but this is NOT the way. It's sad to see so many people jump to race or immigration to try to explain their frustration with our current issues in Canada. We are doing this, Canada is importing immigrants for our economic benefit. We Canadians are all NIMBY and making it hard to build the housing we need, wanting our houses to increase in value indefinitively, not wanting the less comfortable jobs like truck driving, yet letting corporations profit by putting woefully inadequate truck drivers on the road. Immigrants CAN be problematic, but in Canada we are creating our own problem.

What's going on with this world. We have to forgive, yes it's a tragedy and only God can judge this man and it says in the Bible that we need to Forgive, if you can't forgive then that's a very wrong way to be. I know No one can understand all your loss but in life that's how life is, accidents happen. This man has a child and a wife and family. He accepted Canada as his second home why take that from him. Anyone else notice that the increase of truck driver accidents correlates almost exactly alongside the time that we make Indian truck driving licences count in BC? If you are born in Canada these days it costs $19000 to take the class 1 test, but if you are an Indian immigrant you just need to prove that you drove truck in India and they give the licence to you.

I hope nobody treats me this badly when I screw up in a new job. A very sad event took place, but this is just a vindictive response. Nobody can bring those kids back, but this overkill response is just because they were boys who played hockey. If it was a bunch of female figure skaters, there would have been nothing like this response. Canada needs to stop worshipping at the altar of the hockey God's. Driving jobs are all the same. After they spend such a huge amount of money and time to go through the process, you are telling them to go back. It’s not fair. Stats canada needs to objectively analyze and if rules permit share evidence of “brown truck drivers from india only” VS others being reckless or occasionally reckless leading to consequences. \n\nSubjectively speaking it sounds about right & freaking scary how they drive on 401 Montreal to Toronto. \n\nUnfortunately in many parts of the subcontinent this is how they drive. He needs to stay in Canada. We are a Christian country which means we forgive him for his accident. He did the time and now he is free.

I met too many international students and most them they were studying on line!!! so they are not need to came to Canada, but the reason is they came for work. Each one has two jobs !!! So the reason coming for work and save money not for study and at the end after graduation they stay in Canada and never come back home.

Canada really need people...rather than illegal immigrants , you have legal immigrants who are working and paying taxes and you want to kick them out, what a biased video. Canada is weak economically. It needs immigrants. Labour market itself is very very weak in Canada. They arent asking for money they are asking for permit to work and contribute to the CPP and pay the pensions and everything infrastructure.

Especially people from India, they are everywhere. The thing is, Indians also brought unfair practice to Canada. When a local store got taken over by Indians, they tend to only hire fellow Indians and leave nothing for Canadians. If an Indian got promoted into HR in a company, that person will most likely to hire Indians only. There are so many unfortunate examples around us. We need to do something! Canadian should be first in Canada.

All the struggles are real and you need lots of courage to adjust here in canada.. I live in Bangladesh. If I want private healthcare, I can book an appointment today and possibly see the doctor this evening for $5-$7 per session. The really really good doctors? The professor / vip level ones? $10-$15.\nIf I need to do tests, I'll get em done the same day and probably get the results the day after.\n\nThe government ones? ¢10 but then I would be standing in a line for like 2 hours.\nIn my hometown alone there are 35-40 private hospitals. It's a suburb-ish kinda town. There is also one semi-giant 500 bed government hospital. Most services are free there except AC cabins.\n\nI personally don't wish to go to Canada.

I lived in Canada for 14 years . Thankfully I have finally moved out . I don’t regret my decision I can see a doctor when I need it and the police do their job . I miss the country from time to time since I spent most of my adult life there but I’m better off where I am now . I have a stable job and can afford a place to live.

Deport my god what happened to Canada. These people only associate with their own and block us out. Come on really housing has gone un afordable. You can find many family's under one roof. Housing is not reachable for young Canadian family's who want a back yard. Housing that was $15,000 or so is $500,000 up to un reachable a crap tear down I seen was $535,000. And you need to build a new house. That use to be around $60,000 to $120,000. Canadian family's don't have a chance to have normal priced housing any more because of over immigrants. If they paid for studies AND post studies, then they have the right to the 2yrs they paid for. Otherwise, Canada needs to reimburse them all for the monies paid. That's daylight robbery and scamming. It's not rocket science, Canada needs to withhold selling student visas if they have no capacity to host, but they know that no one is buying their visas without the post graduate extras.

The thing is, the employers of Canada do not really need immigrants. The government entities however need more taxable warm bodies and more outside financial resources, hence the misadvertisement “we will welcome you with the open arms”. All over Europe, Canada and the US the student visas are used as backdoor immigration. This needs to end. The visas need to include a requirement to leave the host country immediately after graduation.

Unfortunately, the racism is what you will find throughout North America, not just in Canada, but especially in the US. I must admit that Canada is not Canada I knew growing up.
