I don't think lifting the tariffs would make things as they were again. All these threats to make Canada the 51st state have done damage that cannot be erased with any economic policy

Fentanyl is just an excuse Trump uses for these tariffs. I just don't understand what his true motivation is. He's sick. He truly is.

I have no idea what state democracy is in now. What kills me is that before creating tariffs, not once has the Administration shown us numbers as to why? They talk about the trade deficit, but never back up what they say and then we have to put up with high inflation and prices.

I am Canadian. Totally disagree with the tariff war. The personal animosity and pettyness between Trump and Trudeau should not negatively affect folks on both sides of the border. Hopefully this stuff will stop when Trudeau finally leaves the stage at the end of the month.

Trump has said that companies can avoid the tariffs by moving their businesses to the US. Ok so Trump tries to make the US richer on the backs of the Canadian economy.

US doesn’t hit Canada with 25% tariffs. US hit US-importers with 25% tariffs that they will put on their American prices
