Hey Tyler i love your work. I am a savagely loyal Albertan. \nAlberta is the best province. Change my mind. \nBut if Alberta starts slipping to the Left with another NDP/Socialist government, i would move to the US no question. Not just anywhere though. The 2 coasts are dumpster fires. (No offense if you live there) Canada is messed up like the 2 coasts. Trudeaus MO has been to systematically dismantle this once great, thriving, proud country for 8 long years. With election fraud and more seats in the Maritime provinces than all the Western provinces, and the Federal government bribing those poorer provinces for votes, it may be a long time before the Liberals are removed. And we will eat Crickets in trudeaus dystopian plans for Canadians. This is not a joke. The individual States have much more power than the provinces. Look up Danielle Smith, Premier of Alberta, she has done great things in a short time. Mostly fighting Trudeau against his attempts to shut down our provinces oil and gas and farming to save the planet from climate change. ?

You know things are bad when the CBC is echoing that Immigration levels are a problem. I don't think there are many Canadians out there who think immigration is bad or that it's their fault, but the LEVEL of immigration we have right now is too much.

As an American I have constantly heard how much better Canada is than the US. But I noticed a lot of things going on in Canada that made me question that narrative. It seems that people overestimated the benefits of Canada and down played the pluses of living in America. They did that in my opinion for ideological reasons because Canada has government healthcare. While healthcare is an important issue it is only one of many people should consider and they should consider them without bias when weighing the pros and cons of a country.

Your reasons are very valid and I’m very sad and at the same time it hurt to hear you say your reasons and wish things were different - In your quest to find somewhere warm and Muslim friendly please make sure your wife would be safe. Funny thing, Halifax is bursting at the seams with new arrivals. It’s expected to double in size in the next decade. There’s another ethnic grocery store opening every week. Our population has grown by 10 million people in 20 years, largely due to immigration. Toronto is bursting at the seams and is the most polyglot city on the planet. I have noticed a lot of these whiny videos by immigrants who say it’s no good to move here. I think they are not telling the truth about the tsunami of immigration going on here in Canada right now. Trouble is, there’s not enough housing for the 40 million people here right now. There’s not enough doctors, nurses, hospitals, social services/workers to service our present population. Still, the government flaps its gums about wanting 100 million people here by 2100. If that’s true, southern Ontario will look like Tokyo. There has to be a reevaluation of putting the majority of new arrivals in the GTA. If people want to move here, they should be willing to go to smaller cities and towns across the country.

I lived in Toronto for almost 25 years but moved to Berlin, Germany, a few months ago. I found the last few years to be really sad and also scary. There is such a huge mental health crisis. The TTC is not very safe feeling. I have friends there who travel with dog or bear spray in their purses. The cost of rent is definitely a huge issue. A lot of friends can never move into a new place and I don't know anyone there who can afford to actually buy a home.\nThe positives are the food options (groceries and restaurants - some of the best in the world), the nice social life, so many things to see and do around the city, and the various beaches and islands.\nThe city is definitely looking uglier and uglier, though, with all of these boxy, glassy condo towers and now with Ford doing things like turning public space into a foreign-owned inaccessible spa.

Something is very rotten in this world.. The governments of these countries heavily criticise The West but at the end of the day, their refugees from their countries come flocking to us for a better life.. Fleeing is easy! If you really want a better life, you need to work hard and push against your leaders to demand that your voice is heard! offering asylum is the humane thing to do yes, but it's not helping solve any problems. These days I am given a bit of hope every time I run across one of these videos and deeply hope that these kinds of people actually leave Canada and NEVER come back;\nWhile I know our country is broken, I don't go around shouting it out in a public forum. If enough of these people like you DO leave there might not be quite the housing shortage ... but when that happens most will come running back because they look for the easy and the good - instead of looking for the good and then working to make things easier - with that said this oratory of yours just just becomes redundant!

Canada is still one of the safest places in the world. I won't leave. This phase will blow over. Nothing is permanent. Things change for the worse before getting better. I would take Canada any day compared to the US or some countries in Europe.

If things don't work out, come on back for your old age pension and medical.

I respect your decision to leave based on misalignment of values and other factors you cited. I wish newcomers would be aware of these things before they moved to Canada. Anytime Canada takes in a flood of immigrants and refugees whose value systems don't align it creates longer term issues for society and the country. Biden is doing the same thing by allowing a flood of refugees, little does he realize what the long term impacts will be.

Please convince more people of your persuasion to do the same thing.

There is no such thing as Palestinian land. There is an Arab land and Israeli land that should be divided between the two. Israel should be given a minimal piece of land to survive - from the river to the sea Israel should be free. Arabs have 22 countries with X1000 more land at least...

I would add that living in Canada requires a brainless mindset. There are many laws to follow, taxes to pay, things to fix, $hit to deal with. Your life will be miserable if you have creativity, imagination or to think outside the box. Canada just want sheeps and brain dead individuals. Police are corrupted as like the government. Moved to Canada in 2017 and looking to leave in 2024. I was lucky to come here with a job and I’m making a six figure income even though I’m far from being successful. However, the problem with canada at the moment is even if you have a decent job and not too bad salary, you still can’t afford a home and the rent keeps going through the roof. Canada’s obsession with immigration is lazy and irresponsible. The politicians and elites see immigrants as cash cows and instead of creating companies that generate jobs and wealth, they speculate in the housing markets which are fuelled by immigrants. Immigration is not necessarily a bad thing but you do it with a plan, definitely not as radically as Canada did under the liberal government. The massive immigration only helps the rich, the already haves and the investors. Ask middle and lower classes how they feel about their life quality in Canada, do they really benefit from the immigration? They fight hard for jobs with minimum wages, pay for ridiculous rents, wait in the long line at the emergency rooms, get into bidding wars in the housing markets …. If you are not rich, simply don’t come to Canada. It’s not worth it unless you enjoy living from paycheck to paycheck and owning nothing.

Good for you. I hope you find a nice muslim country to move to. Where you will have a nice life in a total muslim country. When you are there please inform all muslims, especially the ones who are thinking to emigrate to any western country, that they should stay where they are. It will also be a very good thing if you can persuade other muslim in west to move back to their respective country. May I suggest one of the MENA countries. They are very religous there and you wouldn't be harassed by any Christins, jews , hindus or other religions. They simply don't exist there. You don't have to bother about elections and other western nonsens. Just pray 5 times a day and on Friday ,go to the mosque and the iman will tell you everthing you need to know.

As a canadian i never thoughg of living anywhere else vanxouver is so beautiful. Growing up govrnmebt started cutting programs and services in schools ans public resources. And kept doing it. \n\nNow they are removinf beautiful homes to build ugly apartments no yards .\n\nThere is not enough public space. Everyone is moving to the city. We use to be able to go to the beach on a weekday in spring and there was no one. Now its packes. To get to the bathroom was almost a block long. The bathrooms are small. Goos for population we has in the early 90s. We need somethings 4x larger now. \n\nIm ok with new comers but if they create a new community in the rural areas. We have so many areas up north no one moves to.\n\nOr lots of space to build new communities up north, not deatroy the current communities that already exist. \n\nWith all the new apartments there is not enough space for cara, no parking and no room on public transportation.\n\nSimply, the city cannot support anymore people. Its unrealistic. \nI worked with a girk who shares a 1 bedroom apartment with 5 other people and she still paid 1500 a month for rent.\n\nThis will soon be like america - run down, extreme poverty & homelessness. The homelessness has gotten so extreme.\n\nWages havw increased maybe 3x since i was a kid, but pricea rose eveey year.\n\nAs a kid we paid $850 for 3 bedrooms. When i mo ed to my first apartment i paid $800 for 3 bdrms. My friend pays $3000 now for a 2 bedroom aptt.\n\nThere are more crimes more thefts now. My old houae was 600,000 that same house is now 1.5 mil. \n\nI make 2x what i made 3 yeara ago ans things are even more expensive than, i have less now vs when i was making less. Ill never affors a house i can barley affoes to save.\n\nIm certainly looking at gettinf out of here. This country is going to trash

No country is a utopia. We typically hear about what all the wonderful things a place supposedly has, then you learn the whole story. The best way to really learn about a country is to read or watch books or movies meant for the locals, where they typically describe problems that occur, such as crime, corruption, social mores and such.

Best thing to do is to leave a non Muslim country, In Shaa Allah I can do it one day.

I have to ask are you giving up your Canadian citizenship? And I have to tell you I bet you are going to keep it. And although I agree with some things eg: the extreme stance and slide into extreme liberalism, your move is one extreme to the other, and despite the cancel culture here it still stands for real freedom when compared to the middle east. So please do us a favor and if war breaks out where you are going to, please do not ask the Canadian people and government (like so many islamic homesick have in the past) to rescue you at the monetary expense and potential risk to our Canadian men and womens lives- that would be so insulting not to mention hypocritical and Canadians take note of such things and they don't forget. Having said that have a good trip or I guess I should say permanent move.

Reasons I left Canada:\n1. no jobs...\n2. you find a job... low pay...\n3. you get pay... high taxes...\n4. you need to get to yer job... no public transportation...\n5. you need to eat... high food prices.... plus the selection is bad... not many fruits/veggies...\n6. you need a place to live.... rents are high, home prices are high... \n7. the weather sucks, personal freedoms are few, no innovation, no entrepreneurialism... \nHmmmm let me list the things I like about Canada:\n1. (crickets)

As a Christian I would not live in a Muslim community so you are doing the right thing.
