It is very heartening to know that the craze of the west (specially US & Canada) is waning and we have a comparison where India wins on many fronts.

I’m so sad that you think it’s where you choose to live in the US that keeps you safe from gun violence. I guess that’s how people who have to live there stay positive. Uvalde has 15k people and on and on every day in small and big town America. The problem is weapon access and lack of regulation and a fetish on guns that the US has. In Canada I can live virtually anywhere and be safe. We’re far from perfect ourselves but I don’t even feel safe visiting the US Wild West anymore. No thanks.

If Canada’s goal is to turn its cities into a combination of India and China then goal accomplished lol diversity means a combination of people with different race, religion and nationality. How is it diverse when all you see are Indians and Chinese people when you go to Toronto or Vancouver. I live in Québec, borned and raised here too. I would NEVER move to USA. There is no good reason to do that. As a woman, I would fear for my safety, my health and my rights on my body. Hell fucking no. This country feels like it's back to the 1800s with all these guns and archaic laws. The Far West era is far far away behind us, and it should stay right there. I moved to an Island on the west coast in Washington State for 10 years. It was a very nice place to live and in general the people were cool to be around.

As a Canadian living in north western Ontario at the north west of lake superior about 50 miles from the boarder. I would move to the United states if given choice of state like Alaska, Montana, and maybe Texas. no real reason i can enjoy guns here but not all the guns i would like to own are legal in Canada anymore for weird reasons, and if it was the states of my choosing i would still have enough free space to get lost in and enjoy nature with fishing or hunting. If I couldn't pick were i lived in the US I would say not at all do to the vast differences in culture state to state county to county and even times down to street to street.

As a truck driver that has been almost everywhere in the US and Canada I would agree that I would never live in the USA. I do vacation there on occasion, New York, Disney World. There is way too much violence, politics, racism and people are in to much of a hurry to be out front. Everyone seems to need to be number 1. Great place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there. Ironically I do spend about 8 to 10 days a month working there. I find the people on the west coast of the US friendlier than the east coast. It is the opposite in Canada, east coast friendlier than the west coast. Just my opinion and I have lived on both coasts in Canada.

My answer, HELL NO! Born and raised on the west coast. Used to travel to the states, but I doubt I will be visiting any time in the future. Guns violence and human rights issues just don't make me want to visit.

I have two brothers living in the states. The one in Wisconsin is my big brother and he means the world to me. He does have his foibles about race and he tolerates me bringing him to task for some of the things he's said. He was brought up in Kentucky. He seems to be seeing the light now. I have spent time with him and my sister-in-law, and my nieces and nephews in Florida, Illinois, Kentucky and Indiana. We are close now despite being brought up worlds apart. My next oldest brother lives in West Virginia. I haven't seen him on over 30 years. He had a habit of moving without telling the rest of the family. I didn't know he had divorced and remarried. I worked for the Canadian Military as well as some of the American contingent where I worked. I had to renew information for my Security Clearance just after 9/11. He refused to give me any info because Rush Limbaugh was telling Americans the terrorists came to the U.S. from Canada (they actually were taking flight training in Florida). I suppose I could easily take up American citizenship since our mother had dual citizenship but I think I'll decline. I'm too much of a Canuck to change now. I don't think I could get used to politicians winning an election and immediately starting a new campaign. The process seems exhausting to always be bombarded with things politic. Here our electioneering is held to 6-8 weeks before the election and strict limits are placed on funding and contributions. Besides, I live in a small city of 58-60 thousand (North Bay, Ontario). In the close to 70 years that I've lived here, I can recall only 3 murders, so you'll under if I find mass shootings shocking and abhorrent and truthfully scary. I'm a little long winded today....Sorry.

Im here now and I live on the West coast which is much safer than the east coast. And Im close to Canada. The reason Im going to stay is that I can afford a house in the community where I live and theres only a month or so of snow where I am. Cant find that in the West coast of Canada near a city. I love it. But I do get scared here sometimes. Ie. 4th of July... are those really fireworks?

i’m canadian and i would never move to the states, my dad often says he won’t even visit again. the school shooting concern? maybe it’s just our news media but that’s literally the only time we hear of elementary schools at all in the states, and it often happens in places we’ve never heard of before, aka small town usa, so: it can literally happen anywhere in the states to me. for more gun violence here’s a story, i recently had a coworker go down the west coast usa with their family and almost immediately walk into a mall shooting, it really happens so much down there that it didn’t even make the news up here. i work in a mall and i’m never afraid for my life. i’m not being naive, we have guns here, and i work next to a passport photo counter and i see how many people in my town apply for PAL (possession and acquisition license) and it’s more than i would think and still i feel safe

I’m a duel citizen but I was born and raised in Canada and I would say I have more of a Canadian mindset. There are many things that I like about the States even though I wouldn’t move there. A lot of Canadians like to go shopping and for vacation. I hope to one day explore the North West coast of the States. I know there is a lot of awesome nature. This year however I plan on exploring more of Canada as I haven’t seen as much of my own home. \n\nTyler, I hope you will be able to come and visit Canada. It’s a hidden gem and the exchange rate is pretty good for Americans. I think that would be a really cool video. ?

You appreciate Bharat most when you fall ill abroad. Here we get a doctor or a nursing home where you get attention almost immediately. In the West you sometimes have to wait for days before you get an appointment with a doctor.\nEven transport is more easily available in India. You are not dependant on other people to take you here and there.

I think your video is well done. I used to love visiting the US especially the west and have fond memories of our travels .Now we don't travel to the US because of the gun violence and so many guns. Most Canadians don't want guns and think gun control should be very strict. I am very content with the way things are in Canada. We have high taxes but we have so many benefits, like maternity leave of 12 months or more. We have free healthcare with no premiums to pay. We have at least 2 government pensions , one we help contribute to and one is totally government funded plus a guarantee supplement if needed . Most people also have a company or union \npension . Most people retire between 60 to 65 years , but its certainly not compulsory. Canada is hoping to have a 4 day work week soon. Our federal government is generous helping with supplements for food etc. We welcome newcomers and we have a very diverse population. I have traveled to different parts of the world and I am very content here.

Meanwhile on the west coast we have overwhelming immigration with nowhere for these people to live, and people that actually grew up here have to compete for housing that doesn't exist anymore.

Im Canadian and I've lived in Calgary (4 hrs south of Edmonton), Lethbridge (5 hours south of Edmonton) and Toronto. I currently live west of Toronto. There's discrimination but it's not in your face so it's harder to find a job but I keep my head up, although it can be frustrating. I'm not going to refute the lady in the video's experience, but when I was living in Calgary, my experience was good. Since the Greater Toronto Area is multicultural, some people will ask where I'm from, but it gets a little annoying to explain where Trinidad is on a map.

Lies!! I’m black dark skin and was born in Canada, I lived everywhere from east coast to west coat I personal lived in Edmonton and was perfectly fine! There is gonna be racism everywhere but I love Canada some of my family live in Edmonton and there fine! The U.S is soft now. The west spends so much time and effort trying to convince the world that they aren’t evil and they’re good guys that they’ve just become pushovers and an all inclusive resort for anyone to abuse and use. No doubt there is racism in most countries in the west including an amazing country like Canada or even Australia, but they aren't as horrible as in Asia or the middle east ?\nIf it's equally worse, those African immigrants doing well for themselves here won't be coming in large numbers. As a person of Colour in a mostly white country it’s not realistic to not expect some bigoted white peoples it’s just not, their the majority so their always going to be that way. But overall I never feel unsafe here in Ontario very diverse area lots of Muslims, asians, native Americans Africans and tons of Carribeans from all over the West Indies .
