You have never been to a consulate to apply for visa to Europe, Australia, Canada or US even you were in a very very very very very rich family in those countries ... so never know why pp wanna move to Canada, US or similar countries .... as a Canadian citizen you are free to go to many countries without a visa, That''s one of the best privileges .... You can work hard in Canada and retired well in other poorer countries but those pp could not do that ........

People in ER have been dying in Canada after waiting for 10-12 hours. Canada does not publish these horrible things in india or in any other country to maintain her image . Free healthcare means no health . Aldo, not everytjing is free in healthcare . You need to pay for dental , eyes, mediines , physio , other medical eqipment etc . Canada has been lying too much . Only when you live in Canada for one year , you know and then you regret . Canada is doing henious crime by misinforming people in other countries . Canada is built on false promises to lure in immigrants to have them work for cheaper while ignoring it's own citizens. Canada is a first world country but a declining one at that and if something doesn't change it will easily become an impoverished country where we will only be used to have our resourced sucked dry and sold to other countries to profit off while the elite remain powerful in Canada. Canada should have high speed rails that connect the major cities but doesn't, we don't have actually good energy infrastructure due to projects being abandoned under trudeau that would bring a lot of money back. I used to love this country but as it is now I despise it because it's become crushing to live here as a bachelor making 32k and renting

It's hilarious because universities are the biggest scam going and were made completely obsolete by technology about 10 years ago - in 2024, there's no reason at all (other than greed) why every student in the entire world couldn't log on to the same online classroom at Harvard (or pick your school). To take this point further, with a moderate amount of discipline (which, I'll concede not everyone has) you could learn almost anything you want to, for free, online.

What's that Prime Ministers name? Justin Trudeau? And they vote for him! This breaks my heart. I used to come Toronto often from Detroit when I was a young man. I could take the train, I didn't need a car and it was just wonderful. I would walk the streets at all hours without any concern for my safety. I often stayed at the Towne Inn as it was very cheap, right near Young and Bloor and was of good quality. The prices now are ridiculous. This is sad. Toronto was my favorite city.

I’m 70 and when I tried to get jobs as a kid and later as a university grad - it was the same story. Whether the job really requires experience or the employer is just using it to keep entry level wages down - that just goes with the territory and also feels universal. If it is you should just say what you mean and stop bandying ill defined terms around that let viewers arrive at conclusions you don’t intend. NRIs are nothing but economic refugees . I lived in germany and was on blue card visa with pay upwards of 6000 euros a month but still came back to India with in two years could not see myself settling there , I pretty much save the same amount what I was saving there so there is absolutely no incentive for me to live in foreign land leaving all the facilities, maids , friends and family here . I feel for women it’s even harder especially who are housewives they will get depressed pretty fast and are nothing more than maids in foreign land .

The government of BC is taking action by requiring TOD at its transit centres. Why not the rest of the provinces? In Calgary alone, we could house at least 250,000 more people if every station had TOD. It's more sustainable growth, and accrues new transit riders and vibrancy instead of the decay and antisocial behaviour we saw during the pandemic. It could break ground tomorrow in Calgary if it were pursued...with all of their vast parking lots that do little more than waste land.

The testing and background checks for these international students need to be more thorough. \nWhen I was in university (publicly funded) four years ago doing a group project there was a guy that couldn’t write a whole sentence with proper grammar. So he didn’t do anything and we had to reflect that on the peer evaluation. Then he begged the professor to not write him up because his family had to sell lands back home to bring him here.\nThere is no way that someone could get into a Canadian university passing all the interviews and examinations without being able to speak and write with proper grammar. So he had to have cheated during the process. They are affecting the experiences of other students by not participating in group projects, and talking loudly during lectures.

Most surrounding countries want those people to continue living on this land and continue producing military equipment on 3 levels under the same land, to continue terrorise neibouring Israely people. So this situation could perpetuate and will continue getting worse financial and other types of support from everywhere.

Even though she got 8 in IELTS and 80% in academic qualification and we are very financially sound too, we don´t have any hope here in Kathmandu for Australian student visa nowadays. She just applied to Manitoba TT College.

Now we're going to have a bunch of homless students, WE HAVE A HOUSING CRISIS! I live in a 1 bedroom apartment. I let a friend stay on my couch until he found a place. Although he had all the money needed, he could not find an apartment. It took almost 10 months to get my home back.. Any government party that would that would have a political goal of BUILDING APARTMENT COMPLEXES would win the election. Not a universal income!

As a realtor in London, I agree that we feel the pressure on our rental market. Rent has increased dramatically in the past 5 years. Growing families that rent are choosing to live with less space and stay where they are to keep costs down. rents could more than double by going to a new home (depending on how long they have lived in their current hime and the larger unit they will then move to.) I love our international students and support many of them find housing, but it doesn’t take away from the crisis we see. Since Covid our homeless population has exploded along with surrounding communities like St. Thomas and Woodstock.
