They need a job because it’s a fast track to PR! It’s a scam and these people NEED to go!

I'm all for bringing in the 'skills & talent' with new immigrants. But these new Canadians must fit the criteria that Canada needs and they must come in through the legal system, be properly vetted and willing to abide by the laws of the land. Instead, what Trudeau is bringing in through open borders are freeloaders, people who take advantage of the welfare system and refuse to work. And many of them have long criminal histories. Some even insist on bringing their quarrels with them along with the hatred they harbour for other groups of people. Then they proceed to protest in the streets about what is going on in the countries they left and worse, they harass others on college campuses and elsewhere because they don't like their race, culture or ethnicity. We see it everywhere. And if we Canadians complain about it, we're called every name in the book. Not fair to Canadians. Not fair to those who are waiting in line to come in legally.

our economy is about $2T generated by just 40M people compared to India $5T generated by 1.5Bln people. Our standard of living is relatively high thanks to high productivity, not number of people. Low productive, cheap labor is not help but disaster to our well being. We do need newcomers but only highly productive individuals who can fill in existing gaps in skilled trades.

My daughter born in Ontario, great 12 graduate with honors. Going to coalert, trying to find part-time work was told and I quote you do not fit the criteria of the people we have been directed to hire ethnic background, I find this completely disgusting and the liberal government needs to be held accountable. There is nothing wrong with immigration. What needs to happen is we need faster processing to get these people working. There are doctors, nurses and others sitting on welfare waiting to actually fill these jobs. Every hospital is crying for staff. Senior's homes also. They take jobs that the lazy Canadians don't want or are too proud to do. I was trying to hire labourers and plenty of times was told they wouldn't get out of bed for less than twenty dollars. FFS

Too much to soon , everything needs to be brought in as needed and with proper preparation and housing. We also need more english speakers and those that believe in are way of life and beliefs. People need to have self-respect of are self and neighbors to understand are laws and season weather the policy of being polite and friendly having manners and respect.

They keep saying we need people to fill all these vacant jobs. And we need all these skilled workers. The truth is that there are NO JOBS. The government is Lying. And these people coming into the country DO NOT HAVE ANY SKILLS. Many are going to school here to get an education/skills. The idea is that they return home after they finish school. But that's NOT happening. They remain here and take jobs away from Canadians. They get hired over those who are Canadian. We all know this to be true. In addition while going to school here they bring in their whole family. Now it's costing the Tax Payer to look after these people. Many are older and require Medical Treatment, drugs, surgeries, etc. Immigration does NOT stimulate the economy. It drains our finances leading to bankruptcy. We are fast being replaced and our culture is being dissolved. Just look at other countries where this has happened like Britain, Ireland, etc.

The labour shortage is because the welfare hand out system is too generous. Stop these hand outs and these people will work and then no need for mass immigration. It’s this simple.

Canada needs more people like it needs a hole in the head. Even at salaries maybe at 60 to 70% of the US it really doesn't employ all the people it has. That's why if you take up engineering or SW, you better find a way to move to the US or else be ready to flip burgers here all your life.

These students were always supposed to come with enough money to survive. Years ago it was $10,000 & it needs to be increased to at least $20,000 or no entry! Businesses won’t hire Canadians it seems because of the government money they get to hire immigrants. I read constantly about people saying they’ve applied to upwards of 30 jobs and not one reply. This is why.

I mean maybe the fact they can't get jobs, will make them return home. So hopefully this bad image that Canada is gathering will actually deter people from going there. Many of these hapless students can't understand, speak, read or write English adequately, and the exploited sessionals who typically teach them are pressured to pass them anyway because the university needs to keep their bums on seats. I know a lot of people who are going back now. People who came with a PR and have an average yearly income of 190000 cad. \n\nIndia is growing at a higher rate than Canada. Standard of live used to be better in Canada but now with high cost of living, that is changing. Medical facilities are in doldrums in which India excels. Canada has become an exclusive club for people who want to own a home or own real estate. Supply side issues but open immigration has made it a real estate haven for investors from all over the world. Black money or not, you can easily bring drug or money laundering, or other dishonest (a.k.a haram) money into Canada, and law enforcement is asleep at the wheel. Canada needs to be more like the US in order to make this country work in the long run. The prince of Nigeria and his relatives would like to buy real estate in Canada? Of course, its a no brainer!
