Internacional students from other countries don’t protest only one country . What kind of entitlement is this .

I was an international student in Australia, and I got a PR in Canada (but decided to go back Europe). \n\nIf these people dont like the rule they can go back to where they are from.

These Indian students giving such kind of opinions without realizing that they came the same way as the ones struggling now. They take for granted their current situation of privilege for having a valid study permit and a pgwp later on, however, in a few years, they’ll be walking in their shoes as well. The truth is that this country has an economy to maintain and sadly they are not concerned about your personal realization or you achieving your dreams, they need to fund the education system and after you’re done studying you are not contributing anymore, therefore, the cycle must repeat over and over again. What’s is true is that nobody has nothing for granted, and not being strategic about this life project may make you lose everything. Just research, and plan.

International students are coming to Canada stealing all the entry level jobs that are supposed to be for students that are born here. Its not Canadians fault that Indians were sold fake dreams by their own people. Now a days you see international Indians working every where even in places like Mandarine....

Everybody knows it, but everyone either lies about it or pretends it's otherwise. The primary motive of international students from low and lower income countries coming to Canada is for permanent residency, registering into a post-secondary course is just the price to pay for PR as far as they are concerned. International students know it, the government knows it, and post-secondary institutions know it. Let's all drop the education charade and have a clear cut policy about immigration through education. One easy way is by strictly requiring that all foreign graduates can ONLY apply for immigration from their home country after graduating from Canada. This is the only way Canada can control the timing, the process and the quality of people.

So why not just ban Indians, does canada owe something to the Indians... Come on we already know that this student visa is just another cheap plot to enter canada

I dont even think foreign students should be allowed to migrate to Canada - they can get their education in their own countries instead of taking spots and jobs from Canadian citizens. Our Immigration laws need a complete reworking.

How did the so call students came to Canada in the first place , especially with this English. This show how the system is broken.

Hi this Indian students come here for fake documents, n they make fake PR license scams, we lost our gold from airport n these people make lot's of problems in here,these people note follow the rule so arrested n Depotation there is no right to apply resident P R byeee.

the problem lies in Trudeau's Regime.... lack of planning initiatives for a huge influx of immigrants into Canada, housing Crisis, health care degradation and lack of jobs in the market. Not because you came to study in Canada or any country for that matter automatically means you have to the right to stay. That’s the problem. The govt should have had a cap for how many students can stay after their studies but again it’s all about greed

In other countries you’re not allowed to work on a student visa. You are supposed to show proof of funds and that you are able to support yourself while studying. How can you demand PR status when there’s already a process in place? It’s unfair to people who followed the process and legally became PR’s.

THESE POOR STUDENTS ARE LIVING IN ASIAN HOMES BASEMENTS SIX PER BASEMENTS.TRUDEAU IS RESPONSIBLE FOR STEALING THEIR MONIES.

The organizations that are perpetrating this scam need to be sued by both the citizens of Canada and the foreign students who were lied to. ????

What does a foreign Student do for Canada that they do not gain, health care, education, jobs, no sorry you do not have any right for anything, time is up- go back or get your family to support you financially.... go back....No more free rides.....

Canada has nothing to manufacture. We just sell fake dreams. Canada is more corrupt than some third world countries. international student were sold a dream, they paid 3 times tuition fee, work three times, and they will pay employers 35 to 40 thousand dollar for Fake LMIA to get PR. I know few hundred international student personally from last 10 years and No One went back after studies. Canada is for corruption and crimanls now. Thanks to Justin trudeau.

Foreign students do not give 3 or 4 years of their life for Canada. They spent this time either to get education or training or pull off an immigration scam.

Educational institutions are just fronts for a large immigration scam. Foreign students are poorly vetted.

This international student thing has always been a popular pathway to PR status in Canada .\nThe government actually did promote it thought it a good idea to have young people after finishing their education to stay in Canada .\nIt was not a promise and not all would be excepted though \nObviously the policy was good for the schools but the government never considered the impact on Canadians cause they couldn’t care less .\nThe constant lie has always been Canada has too many jobs and not enough workers.\nThe recent 30 billion hand out to foreign automakers to set up EV factories proved what a lie that was when the government was willing to spend 3 million dollars to create one low skilled factory job obviously hard up for jobs .\nThere are videos on the net showing line ups of hundreds of people to try and get a job in a grocery store stacking shelves.\nTrudeau has destroyed Canada and most likely he will be gone but don’t expect the conservatives to be any different.\nPee Pee has never said he would slam the door shut in fact his only criticism of the Libs immigration policy was that it was taking too long to get people into Canada .\nCanadians are stupid they always vote in governments that screw them over time after time on all levels of government.\nThere is a party that would slam the door shut but they only got 2% of the vote in the last election.\nSo 98% of Canadians are stupid and they really deserve the country they have created for themselves.\nThis just didn’t happen recently it has been going on for years seriously where did Canadians think we were going to put all these people ?

They should reach out their consultant who gave them these dreams of PR or citizenship. No where canada government guarantees or promises to any individual students. In my personal opinion please go back after finish your studies since your purpose to gain education. Already very hard to find jobs due to international students.

They are not here for education and take any BS course just to get a PR. Prior to this they were doing fraudulent marriages for money to immigrate people here. Govt allowed them to come study and at the same time giving them some hr to work so a lot of people grab this opportunity which to most of them the main purpose is not to study but to have a job and after that get into pr status. If I’m in this situation of this student I cant demand anything in the first place just follow the rules, find a way to get your status legally if you can’t then start packing up and I will go home.

Calling these people “students” is disrespectful to actual students enrolled in real universities

International students pay to be there and they have to jump through hoops just to get a PR and citizen, while illegal immigrations under the libs just walk in and get free citizen while the student pays. As a former international student, the answer is simple. Being here is a privilege not a right. When we signed our documents for entry into this Country we agreed to follow it's laws. The fine print was very clear.

I know I am going to take quite a bit of flack here... as long as the international students follows the rules, completes their study in whichever program, and does not commit criminal acts then the students should be allowed to stay in Canada. Presumably their education would grant them a decent paying job. Now any illegal migrants or if one of the international students fails to graduate or commits a crime I say deport! I am also against international students from working full time, they should only be permitted part time work until graduation.

Unfortunately what people don't understand, is that college and university educations are kept low for domestic students because the schools are funded by thr government. \n\nHow about stop all government funding for colleges/universities and everyone pays their own tuition at fair market rates.

Next time when a international student brings food as a Uber driver Canadian should ask him how much he makes a hour working as a Uber food delivery and how much he spend to come to Canada

I truly feel for the students since every student i have met have great intentions to work hard make this great country there own... its a tough situation for all of us since we dont have enough high paying jobs for the canadian citizens... its a tough situation for all of and i hope we can get through this with everybody being happy...

International students works in tim Hortons 15$ per hour pay 50000 or 50k to come here come to Canada in study permit work in Wherehouse works as Uber delivery boy bring food from restaurant to your home in minus -20 c 2 am in night so that you will enjoy your meal now all problem because of international students

How can that possible if you buy a house in US 700 thousand close to New York and same house in Brampton 2 million this is also because of international students

lol.. Good enaough to work?! They came for studying not work. Canada allowed them to work for some limited cash earnings. Perhaps.. no more work on Student Visa's. This way Canadian students have more jobs available.

As an immigrant and now a proud Canadian citizen I firmly believe that Canadians comes first. Full stop. This whole issue falls not just on these students but also on the feds who abused the international education route to bring in more people and make it lenient so they get more votes and keep winning elections but it backfired. This happened in the UK about 10 years ago. All these fake immigration consultancies and mediocre colleges should be shut down so these folks don't throw all their money into this hoping to get a PR. Most of these students can't even form a sentence in English. Yet somehow they get here. We have a massive hole in our immigration system. I hope this changes if and when Pierre takes over.
