Growing up half of my relatives were Canadian, and we visited often. It always seemed that Canada was a cleaner, friendlier version of America. I still visit on occasion, but it's not the same country, either is the United States for that matter. There's no escape!

Why you are spreading hate for students. When you should criticize the Canadian government and colleges. Why the government accepted so many visas at first place. Without student visa Indian students cannot come to Canada. But the government only cared about the money. They took the taxes and fees from students and now all hate is going towards students. I admit that the students must follow the rules and regulations. But the government should be accountable for the over immigration.

It amazes me that his lawyer talks about what he and his family are going through. Im sorry but how about the families of those killed or injured in that accident, imagine the horror they have and continue to live through. This man including the owner of the company immigrated here . When you move to another country you must adapt to that country's laws. At the current immigration rates in about 20 years Canada will be fully colonized by India. Bring in 1 million+ people a year and in 20 years half our population will be from one country. This is not bigotry or hate speech, Trudeau/Singh regime, but just pure math. We are being colonized.

Prolonging the current housing shortage. I believe everyone deserves a fair opportunity, but the Canadian government has given preference to a country that is clearly undermining it to a point where they are carrying out assassinations on Canadian soil. Last year in 2023, many Africans came to Canada ?? as a visiting tourist and end up claiming asylum. Most of them were sleeping on the streets of Toronto because there were not enough beds available in the shelter to accommodate them. I remembered that one African die sleeping on the street. They did apply for the program that would give them an option for PR. They should hold those accountable who created such scheme. Lot of these people pay a lot of money to come here with these programs so there has to be accountability. Canada seems to be willing to take there money and then send them back is not right.

I live in Canada and have a friend with stage 4 breast cancer and had to wait for health care but her $5,300 a month drug treatment was covered. She is doing fine and with medication she expected to live approx 5 years plus. We have problems with health care but when it works it is amazing.

If the post Covid housing crisis were under control, Trudeau would have done something by now. Rent here is no more expensive in the US in fact probably more expensive in New York than in a city like Ottawa Toronto or Montreal. Yes Vancouver is an expensive place to live but not all of it. Who said they don't want to go home? Canada invites international students with a promise to give them PR if they can finish school and qualify using one of the programs. I know because that's how I came to Canada. Unlike the US where it's hard to stay and you need a marriage, in Canada you can use a qualifying job. Usually people sponsored by family to get PR, as well as refugees, are put ahead of international students as well as those on work permits. \n\nIn the meantime, International students over-pay into post secondary, as well as working off campus and paying taxes, but are always last in line when it comes to being granted PR. The rules change so much so fast, it's easy to find yourself out of time and kicked out of the country. \n\nSo whoever watches this will be happy that International students are getting kicked out, but the problem with too much immigration won't be solved because the country is still taking in so many refugees. Right now it's international students getting the axe and are the scape goats in ths game. \n\nAlso, the reason why Canada takes in more immigrants beyond the obvious, is because they want to eventually do away with property rights. So while people can cheer kicking out international students, it doesn't prevent the inevitable from happening, because the politicians took in too many new people.. \n\nAnyway, good luck to everyone, from either side of this debate, it's bad news all around wharever the final outcome.

India culture is not in line with Canada. The Sri Lanka man who stabbed to death four young children, a mother, and gentleman (roommate), it is well known in Ottawa that was honour killing. My child learns maths and other subjects in class 1, 2 in Italy in class 4/5 in England. We shift to England because of the disadvantages in Italy and Canada are almost the same. But Italian weather was nice .There we found articles of daily use, but at high prices, which are easily available in England. Italy and Canada are similar in terms of those disadvantages.?
