These people are trying to escape genocide over there with those drug lords. What there doing is not really right but they need to come up with a solution to the problem. If they join forces like this in there own country things can get done. Get rid of corruption in high places first. That's the problem.

And now their problems will now be added to our plate , what’s worse is that our country can barely help its own people.

I have no problem with immigrants coming to America. My mother and father are immigrants. I just feel they need to come here legally. I live in Harlem and it's not fair that the immigrants are getting preferential treatment over the American homeless people.

They also come to the United States for better schools, better work conditions and higher pay. In fact, the joke is people immigrate to Canada as a steppingstone to eventually immigrate to the United States, which is why Canada has a big problem keeping educated talented people.\n\nSafety nets for society certainly have their importance however, socialist policies do not work the best. All they do is dumb down society by destroying competition and quality and quantity of and even accessibilities goods and services.

We have veterans now who are very poor and needs plenty of help too ! And homeless people needs help from the governments ! IF IT TAKE TWO YEARS TO HAVE THEIR APPOINTMENT THEN THEY WILL BE HERE IN CANADA WAITING FOR IT ! WHERE AND HOW AND AT WHAT EXPENSE??? WHO WILL PAY THE PLACE THEY STAY ( FOODS ! ACCOMMODATION ! HEALTH CARE ! )

This is the biggest load of crap I ever heard I live in Edmonton as well I am a nurse and I also have two half black children who both identify as black my daughter is 18 yrs old and has never once in her life received any kind of racism as well I have never received any racism having them. I truly believe it’s her attitude that’s the problem here. When there is issues between people it takes both parties to fix the issue and screaming racism does not fix anything it’s an excuse for behaviour stopping any conflict resolution. Also you can’t scream racism every time someone tells you something that you don’t like and I can tell you I’ve had a few people do that because I was blunt with them and as I told them if I don’t like you it’s not because I have an issue with black people it’s because they are just shitty people and I treat people exactly how they treat me and if they real nasty I kill them with kindness?

People think that Canada is racism free utopia and its not. People always want to talk about the US. And yes the US has a long way to go,but at least it's vocal. My mom used to say let me know right off the bat that you don't like me,don't be sneaky with it. Canada,the UK and western Europe always try to say that racism is an American problem. Americans are just more vocal with it. And if anyone is inclined to Google,just look up the food inequality that Canada has with their northern neighbors,the people of Nunavut.

It is a shame that this woman faced some ignorance, but the arrogance of trying to label all Canadians as white supremacists is sad to say the least. I am white and I faced a ton of racism growing up from the indigenous community in my home town. Did I call them all racists? No, what I, and many other Canadians did and still do is make the effort to learn about these other cultures rather than playing the victim and then slandering the good, hard working, tolerant people of Canada. If she has so many problems with racism in Canada, well as our lovely cousins to the south say, leave. People from Canada often travel to Australia and then want to move there permanently. The grass always looks better on the other side. However Australia has its problems too. Great weather and friendly people, but it's expensive to live. Jobs may be scarce in some areas, and there are problems of sexism, racism, crime, loneliness, and poverty too.

I assume that there are no homeless people in the US or France...How many thousands and thousands die from drugs in the US and other countries in the world.Yes,the governments should do better and find/build special housing for these people.They should set up special\nclinics in order to detoxify these drug addicts.The problem is that people don't want to have these clinics in their neighbourhood because they are afraid of fights,their houses will go down\nin value and so on.I saw a documentary about the homeless people and I was surprised and not surprised about what they are saying.There is what they call the Old House Brewery in\nMontreal and there are about 50 beds (or more) and the homeless people can sleep,eat and shower.There are a lots of then who refuse to go to this place,some say that so people were\nmaking noises at night and they prefer to sleep under bridges ..Homeless people are everywhere in the world.DON'T FORGET THAT IT 'S ALSO THE JOB OF THE PROVINCES TO FIND\nSHELTERS FOR THESE PEOPLE...

Venezuela is an extreme socialist problem. They control all prices and hijack the concept of healthy business functions. This causes essential goods like water, food, and toilet paper, even fruits, are totally barren from stores. Socialism there is a nightmare and no one is living life their with decency. Read about it before you judge these people. Try to visit these countries or learn from someone who came from there before you form a solid opinion of politics folks They don’t have the ability to use much of their “freedom” to “fix” things against a rigged system already (some commenters say they need to go back and fix their countries- lots of issues with this). Read up on how South American governments make it almost impossible for their own people to make decent money. Americans are very privileged and that is an understatement. The problem is with these terrible governments and even law enforcement who often get bribed by criminals and many dirty cops in some countries down there. My husband is from South America, and we know Cubans, Brazilians, and Venezuelans who beg America to stay capitalist. That’s why America needs to stay American, and refrain from trying to be socialist.

I’m desperately trying to leave Ontario. Grew up in southern Ontario my whole life very close to Toronto. It’s been going downhill for years now and although most people don’t tend to notice, we have a very bad overpopulation problem here which makes living and working here a living hell especially if you have to drive everyday.

If you understood the s*** that was going down in Venezuela, you would be fighting for these people to have Asylum here. Do you know how much of Texas is unoccupied? Like SO much of it. It's not a very densely populated state. It can take years for Asylum Seekers to go through the process legally. Don't they deserve some level of safety while the process is sorted out? And instead we keep instituting policies that make things even more difficult and create even more tension. Nobody is fully in the right here necessarily, but people really need to start approaching this with much more empathy and Humanity. If you guys really have such a problem with all the migrants being in Texas, there's always Wyoming. Nobody lives in Wyoming. There's plenty of space in Texas, of course, since most people live around the Metropolitan areas.... But Texas isn't always known for its warm fuzzies. Wyoming is just Cheyenne and a bunch of wind. That's the importance of America's involvement in other countries. The places these people are fleeing is where the answer to this problem resides. Nothing and no one will stop people from trying to get to a better place, it's human nature. Mexico has everything to do with this which creates new avenues for long term changes that would demand their participation, failure to do so would have...consequences. After all, that's where they're coming from prior to crossing into the U.S. This can be corrected.

This has been happening on mexicos southern border for months now. Mexicos president is wayyyy too nice to kick them out like the US is. And most of these people are stealing homes, kicking locals out of their homes and taking over small cities in Mexico. It's not usa problem neither Mexicos problem. It's the southern countries problem. They don't come here as peacefully as most immigrants that come from Mexico. So many people have already been hurt by all these people just barging into Mexico and people in Mexico are suffering for this same reason.

Thats like applying for a job without giving them any information about yourself, and expecting to get that job with no experience. The answer is they should because if we went to anyother country, we would be expected to learn about their culture. The problem is that they tell these people that the US is such a great place, and that they will have it made once they get in, they can't get in and get stuck in Mexico, not wanting to work or do anything but keep trying to get into the US

Honestly our country has enough problems of its own. We can't keep letting people just walk in. Taking skilled jobs from hard working Americans, and lowering wages. Especially given current issues that plagues most cities.

The world can't fucking live here they need to solve some of their own problems. Somehow The United States of America was able to be a successful concept.
