Ok... Toronto and Vancouver is a very small part of Canada... they are not the whole Canada... I understood the struggles but there are lots of places in Canada is what we say livable... Hey Im alone here in Edmonton... i pay mortgage,,, i pay bills,,, i pay debts,,, i support my family back home,,,, i buy whatever i want and most of all,,, i only have one job... and look!!! Im surving for 14 years now alone... Struggles should be dealt with willingness to do what is necessary,,, hardwork and resiliency not quitting... you will still have to work hard whether you go back home or go somewhere else... at least here in Edmonton,,, you're hard work is rewarding unlike most of the countries around the world...

I think immigrants need to look outside of Greater Vancouver or Toronto… there are still affordable housing options available in Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Halifax, St. John, etc…

I am in Canada for 17 years and I love this country. It literally saved my life. Although I have to admit that it is a matter of surviving nowadays. My husband is a senior piping designer and he can't find a job for more than a year and was on and off the job for last 6 years. I am an internationally trained doctor and I can't find anything for myself. I can't afford pursuing my profession as it's too expensive and takes years with no certainty thag you will even get into industry. So I'm looking for all other jobs. But I'm either overqualified or don't have Canadian experience. So we have money just for a few months to survive... With 2 kids it's even more stressful... We barely can afford our rent... And we can't go back home as we left it so many years ago, no connections for job there too. So we really just pray everyday...

Students who come from certain countries (you know where) come to look for free food and free benefits from Canada. I work at a well known university and see them come for food bank the first day they landed. Even some came to complain that their grants got cut (of course, coz they never finish the thesis) and demanded for financial support as they need to pay for family expenses including car loan!! Wtf is car loan??? If you wonder where are these students from…you guess it’s right. We see them everywhere.

well housing and for health care cost of living. the new middle class to live comfortable afford rent groceries car payments and to have some saving need to make at least 11k a month after taxes 11k a month after taxes is like 200k in canada for health care to even see a doctor sure ok we get referral but that referral takes 8 months to go and see an referral. i worked 2 full time jobs in the trades to try and get ahead that 2 full time trade mens jobs and i looked at my taxes was 5 months of income in taxes. so i quit one job. i ncanada your penealized for working harder when there is a single mom who has no job has 4 kdis making 5k a month from child benefits and welfare

I know of a situation where a canadian woman was living with a man who after he got his pr call the cops on him saying he rape her. He is now in jail because of her lie and can't wait to leave as this seems to be the norm for women there to use the men then get them in jail by lying to the cops. Ah this makes me so sad that actual Canadians are leaving their home country. But actually the same is to be said for me. I'm British living in the UK and we are looking to move to Malaysia. Mostly for the sunshine, the culture, my husband is Chinese and there's a big Chinese community there, I'm half Indian and there's a huge Indian community there also. Actually and of course you already know that Malaysia is a Muslim country so I think Malaysia would be a great fit, plus erm hello the weather ????I can't wait to leave cold, wet, grey UK! I wouldn't say my friends, but friend of friends also left Canada recently. Even earning 130k per year still left them a bit uncertain, having 2 kids, in the end of the month not so much is left, and when they looking on house prices they understand that they could afford one not even in foreseeable future

We also look to leave. With education and experience of 10 years in Canada, still cannot get jobs in my fields. Health care is terrible, food is super expensive, one salary covers rent, the other expenses. No future without saving.

The main reason that Canada is bringing in half a million migrants and hundreds of thousands of students is to keep the property prices high. If they slow down intake of migration and international students property prices will crash and with it the Canadian economy. Canada earns billions in migration fees, education fees and of course cheap labor like cleaners, carers, and taxi drives, jobs that canadian-born residents will not do. \nMost students are financed by their Mum and Dad Bank, lived a sheltered life with maids and drivers but with no skills, so they go overseas, and forced to do menial jobs to survive. Back home the family will be looking for a rich partner.

Great good news for a change…….maybe Canada should look for better immigrates who can provide Canada skills and not just labour…Canada isn’t the country to come to and live or even work…..

Well…. Look at the citizenship application process time. That is really long, and so long enough for people to find else better jobs outside of Canada.\n\nIn Canada, government officials are Crown servants not people’s servants. Except tax and else money collecting, the Government’s service standard is really low and inefficient.
