It is horrible that we are seeing an increase in homelessness, drugs, and declone of heslthcare system. The rich don’t pay their fair share in taxes just loop hole tax invasion with charities. People go in debt for an education. People on single parent Disabikity or Welfsre incomes besides minimum wage are closer to the poverty line since the Inflationery hike’s incline to decline. Doctors and teachers don’t make enough to keep up with inflstion. There are family doctor shortsges. We have a heslthcare crisis but not like the Ststes, we have long wsiting hours for nurses and doctors, rent is too high and enpensive, petro might go back to $2 per litre like 2022 following the initiation of the Russo-Ukrainian war, housing is $20000 more expensive in Canada than the USA, immigrsnts and permanent residences are leaving, we almost had a housing bubble like 2007(USA), we spend too much in taxes, our social net isn’t working, we have low production compared to to the USA, we have a population pocket, we have increase rent cities, we have an incompetent PM, we have carbon taxes that cost more on utilities and petro with rebates thst only gives us Pennies or jnickled to the kids these days, and we have over spending in foreign conflicts like Ukraine when fuck Ukraine and Israel/Palestone they can fight their own shitty battles than having Fold War II.

Is there a smart they won’t come to Canada because even right now Canadians are on the street. It’s just not a good time. Canadians are good people it’s not their fault. And then no one‘s offering the immigrants jobs because there is no jobs but that’s not again the Canadians fault they can’t afford to put food on their own table. Canadians are hard-working and I know lotta immigrants are hard-working in regards to the students don’t come here maybe the United States will be best for you they offer lotta countries. Oh my God warm nice beautiful countries, I’m not country is sorry states you’ll probably be best for you to transfer over to somewhere there cause it’s just so many beautiful, warmer climate, and if people are used to coming from a warmer climate, it would just make more sense to me just an idea. I’m half of Canadians. I’m embarrassed of what is happening to the Canadian people under Trudeau and I’m embarrassed of what’s happening to the immigrants under Trudeau. I'm a 28 year old Canadian, I don't want this to come off sounding like a pity party, so I'll keep it brief for all and any of those thinking of moving here. I live with my parents because I could never afford the rent (and I don't even live in a major city like Toronto); my buddies moved in together and paid 1600 a month for a SMALL 2-bedroom apartment and they STRUGGLED to find an apartment. everyone I talk to is struggling and scared about their mortgage payments. My parents built a new home just a few years ago and got screwed over at every turn and on every level, their only saving grace was that their lumber package was locked in so they didn't have to worry about the lumber inflation. the job market is straight up trash and we're taxed through the teeth for every little thing. On the news we see stories about immigrants having to go back to their country because they can't afford to live here or find affordable housing. don't move here, it's shit.

There is a temporatory stop of foreigners buying home for 2 years. It use to be that a foreign student IE CHINESE)can buy home when they go to school here. They would graduate go back to their country and leave the house empty, leaving us Canadian with no home to buy or the prices are too high. The federal government accept immigrants and foreign students (more than 1 million in 2023 ) but not give the time nor finance for the provincial governments to built up the infrastructures to a accomdate them ie hospitals/doctors,schools houses…..very irresponsible of this government.

My kids and grandchildren have Canadian accents and were Canadians from birth. But should they leave and return to the same crap??? What disgusts me more is that the PM dares to include immigrants with refugees, under the banner that 30% of the population are immigrants. Under the law, refugees are temporary migrants and usually nothing more. To bundle immigrants who came to Canada through legal means of applications, brought hundreds of millions dollars into Canada with them of their own hard-earned money from their own countries, to have it taxed out of them, and their families deliberately put into poverty so Canada can fulfil its 19th century-PM Macdonald immigration policy of, and I quote from a Canadian federal government website, quoting PM Macdonald directly, about breeding out the Indigeneous people, is beyond sick! The refugees get a free ride at the expense of hard-working Canadians, 90% of whom came from immigrant stock! What happens when Trudeau says these deceitful lies about legal immigrants is that the racism and discrimination increases dramatically. I have been left in agony in hospital due to evil racist Canadians who thought that my accent meant that I had just flown in yesterday and what right did I have to be there? Police refused to charge a neighbor whose son was threatening the life of my grandchild because the neighbor works for the CRA! Other people have the same complaints. Democracy? Canada used to be a good country, but when a person has to keep explaining where they got their job experience from and if they have any Canadian experience for every time that they look for a job in their lifetime in Canada, something is very wrong with Canada. Most jobs in Canada are blue collar and very few are white collar, yet Canada still continues to deceive the world into believing otherwise. Canada is a great vast and beautiful land, but only a small percentage of it has any infrastructure, roads, or homes sufficient to house what is a decreasing fraction of society. Refugees take preference over immigrants and citizens alike. The lie about the homeless is getting bigger. Most homeless Canadians today are veterans, elderly, disabled, mentally ill, poor, and professionals and trades people, yet Canada brings in countless professionals, claiming that their education and experience will get them into the professions that they are coming from. It's all a scam! Canadian education is not the best and yet people with better educations and job experience are being forced to spend all their money to go back to university or college to get jobs that they rarely will be hired for. Canada is not short of doctors, just short of professionals who hire professionals without using discrimination, hatred and racism for their HR kit! Many taxi drivers are doctors, engineers, and so on. So, please stop lying to the world and tell the truth. And no doubt this entry will be taken down because it offends a Canadian who doesn't want the world to know the truth.

I sold a beautiful property in Canada ten acres of maple bush with a home . Just north of Toronto .it was difficult but l read the tea leaves.....would it be worth much more today... obviously...but l was lucky to build a beautiful home on a whitesand beach in Asia.....taxes are $500.00 a year hydro $200.00....insurance and other costs are insignificant.....the big gain is peace of mind and absolute privacy with only a fraction of the sale of my Canadian home..never going back

I have had relatives and acquaintances who moved to the USA. They had a visas to work in Maine in the sixties and seventies. They got drafted during the Vietnam era. One did not go back and they other did two years in the US army during the Vietnam war. They moved back to Canada, after he finished his 2 years, he moved back to Canada. The one who did not report for service to the army, moved to,Ontario, and the guy who served two years moved back for Canada, and his wife needs health care that they couldn't afford in the USA..

I immigrated to Canada in 2006. It was a big mistake. Canada is an immigration casino. Despite having a Ph.D., I never got a decent job there. After wasting 12 years of my professional life there, in 2018 I left Canada and came back to Brazil. Things are much better now. I don't want to go back to Canada not even for a short visit.

I think Canada needs less commumism and more real canadian culture. When i moved in 3 years ago everything felt extremely artificial, confusing, and depressing. Like everyone was on the brink of going crazy. I am glad I came back to my country Italy.

Not only are they entering illegally, many that are in the U.S. illegally or legal are just looking at there phones and not even attempting to assimilate and learn English. I have noticed that almost every foreign speaking person is just looking at their phones and listening to media in their own language. If I was seeing some watching English media or at least trying to learn the language it would at least be a step in the right direction, but they ignore everything in English! Social media has a stranglehold on American culture!! There are several Spanish speaking groups being brought in to work in retail and grocery stores and it's just the same thing, they don't know hardly a word of English. If they come here even legally, they should be learning English, we shouldn't have to learn Spanish in our own country or whatever language they are speaking!!!!!Speak English or go back to your own countries, your culture is not our culture! I think everyone is missing the point here. I Don’t support Israel’s retaliation, but I wondered why the Arab world has not taken in a single refugee. Poland didn’t condone Russia’s attack by taking in hundreds of thousands Ukrainian refugees. If Egypt, jordan, Quatar, to name the immediate Arab Neighbors would rally together to get the women and children out of harms way, surely the outcome would be better for these poor people. \n\nSadly this is not the case and it appears as though this conflict will never find a solution, as long as both parties are not able to set aside their millennia aged quarrel, acknowledge each other’s deep roots and belonging to the same land, and accept that they both come from the exact same bloodline. The exact same seed of a man named Abraham. Both parties need not to like or even tolerate each other, but they both need to respect each other’s right to co exist within that space. I’ve heard some disgusting vitriol from both sides, honestly. Both sides have and are behaving like animals. Infact animals are more civil, as their disputes are settled in a more humane manner, without the casualties within their communities. Yet, despite being created in God’s image with the ability of sophisticated communication, both sides are unable to get past their own hurt pride, at least for the sake of the innocent lives that have and continue to be lost on BOTH sides, to finally squash this matter once and for all.\n\nGrowing up I had a cousin . We both were the only Sons of our respective immediate families’, born to identical twin sisters, 3 months apart. From\nA young age everything was competition between us. Who ran faster, jumped higher, threw further. Every thing we did, and we spent a lot of time around each other, was constantly turned into a “who does it better”. This resulted in us usually throwing down as one of us, feeling like we may be on the losing end of any given task, would just get frustrated, and start soccer punching the other. And my cousin and I from the time were off the diary to the day we both matured, would THROW down. We would literally just start throwing punches at each other, it was honestly impressive how we both would manage to land equal amount of hits to look like literal bloody hell, and guess what, even those fights became competition as even our dads would throw money with the others pitching for their favourite. Fortunately, our moms, the only adults in the our community, looking back, people would just pick a side and watch as go at each other, than pull us off each other, would come stomping out of the house grab each one of us by our ears, gives us a good smack in the back our heads and sit us down, look each one of us straight in the eye, and say something like, “cut it out, you two are family, more brothers than cousins” they would demand that we both go hug it out, have a bath, if we managed to do that peacefully then we were allowed to partake in dessert that evening or allowed to stay up a little later watching tv, or whatever . My point with this overtly personal analogy is that both the Palestinian and the Israeli sides should be dragged off each there by their figurative ears pulled, sat down, scolded and reminded of their ancestrial ties to each other and to the very same land. \n\nBe honest with yourselves, some how amongst all this hate, vitriol, unnecessary death of innocent lives, are you, and those you rally with be truly ok with your opposing side coexisting harmoniously beside each other? If the answer to this question is no, the other side can not have any claim to this land and needs to be removed to god knows where, if not off the earth all together then it’s your people, not mine, that are doomed. We’ll still be chilling in North America, horrified at the unfolding events but chilling nonetheless. Although it somehow claims to not be doing so, the actions of Israel demonstrate a gruelling callousness towards Palestinian life or right to life, and the staunch calls of the constant pro Palestine protests, calling for the eradication of Israel, none absent of a deep, hate and disgust towards the Jewish people. Both are in need of serious internal reform. Honestly as a complete outsider, SHAME ON BOTH OF YOU. I don’t care who started it, or who said or did what, at this point it is imperil that this end immediately. And as an outsider, I think it’s is important that pressure be applied to both sides to put their weapons down. I don’t recall the last time anyone even mention the Israeli hostages, putting any pressure on Hamas to do the one thing that would definitely appease the Israelis. In the same breathe, Israel needs to be further pressured to stop being so trigger happy and lay off of it. \n\nI can only hope, I guess. In the meantime i should really refrain from ranting on YouTube.

I feel like moving as a lifelong Canadian. I love people and love culture. I don't like extremists. \n\nMy problem is simply I don't our government is ethical nor caring to it's citizens, and as far as immigrants go, I am absolutely all for it with a reasonable rate without displacement or a negative sum on people that have built families here already. You can't just say we want to help and not give one thought about implications whatsoever. \n\nWhere I live you can't add thousands of people without thinking about making roards wider or more busses.\n\nWe don't look like idiots, we are. Let's welcome a host of new beautiful people into out country and not have a single plan in place besides pay for their housing (not necessarily bad), pay for their transportation (not necessarily bad), and allow a rent bubble to put our welcoming citizens with Trades to live in tents.\n\nHow about this as a sane alternative, the billions of dollars in road tax from gas prices which hasn't improved the roads, and the billions from legalized gambling...how about we audit our government and take a hard and difficult look as to where all this tax money goes, and more importantly the detailed justification? \n\nSame thing, same day. Canada has to be corrupt as the day is long OR our greatness was built on an history of lies. Take your pick.\n\nLet's hire as a people a 3rd party professional firm with oversight and give them 5 billion dollars, the amount we paid for helicopters and opted out for and still paid by backing out.\n\nThat thought alone should be brilliant enough to enlighten us all.
