I’m a Muslim as well and I don’t live in a western society, I’m living in my country that is conservative and there is none of these woke agendas and liberalism being forced on us, but I do have relatives who live in the US and Canada and they are thinking about coming back for the same reasons you mentioned. They don’t want their children to be victims of these agendas that are being forced on them to accept in schools right now, they are noticing how society over there is failing, Islamophobia and hate crimes against Muslims is rising, and they don’t want to live in a country that sends billions of dollars to support an apartheid occupying state to commit genocide and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians, they just don’t want their tax money to be sent to war criminals. May Allah make it easy for you and hopefully you’ll find a perfect place and a perfect Muslim environment so that you can raise your children. I do suggest you to go live in one of these Gulf states especially Saudi Arabia where healthcare is free, education is free, zero taxes, zero crime rates, and most importantly, you can practice your deen freely and you don’t have to worry about your children.

I don't know what's going on with the world, but the hate, the xenophobia and islamophobia are very real around here. The western world cannot comprehend the game because it missed the first 100 moves. All they can see now is who is left and not what moves got the ME there. The chaos is not as chaotic if you live it daily and they have been.

While your reasons for moving are very understandable and commendable, I also get a feeling of hopelessness when I hear that western countries are becoming hostile environments for practicing Muslims. I moved to Europe from Pakistan and I am constantly in a conundrum of whether I would want to settle here permanently. On one hand, the cultural differences here means that I will probably always feel like an outsider in this society and will always have to work harder to be able to practice my religion freely and to find a good community around me. On the other hand, because of Pakistan's economic situation, going back means constantly living under the threat of financial insecurity and a plethora of other problems such as a corrupt justice system, a weak passport etc. Not to even take into account that the average Pakistani society is just Muslim by name and not in actual practice. So it feels like there isn't any clear options and you just have to weigh the pros and cons of each situation. But I would warn you that while it's easy to say that you want to live in a Muslim country, the reality is hardly as idyllic. Its easy to play the azan in a mall but it's difficult to create a society that actually adheres to and values Islamic principles, and in Pakistan's case I don't think such a society exists. You would also find that many Muslim countries' leaderships have supported tyrannical regimes and nobody's hands are actually clean. It's a complicated decision but I hope you find a situation that works for your family.

I am from Iraq, although the political situation of my country isn't the best and it has a lot of flaws, but being able to hear the azan 5 times a day has made it all worth it. Before I used to want to live in USA, but now after what happened in Palestine, I've backed off and just go with the flow. Life ain't easy anywhere.

Salaam all and hello. I'm born & bred here in England. My parents are indian, my mum from Malawi, southern Africa. Life here in London where I've been living all my life is going downhill fast. Crime & general insecurity, the cost of living, increasing woke degeneracy and lack of morals & ethics all contribute to a worsening environment & society. My younger brother & sister both moved to Dubai & were happy there. He raised his family there and is now in Saudi. Its important to know that the Muslim world although has varying levels of development is still not truly Islamic and that has been the cause of its backwardness and we as an ummaah is now at the worst situation it has ever been. However the call for the resumption of Islam as a system and way of life is rapidly increasing and will ineveitably make a return for the benefit not only for the ummaah but for the the wider world as a beacon of light (in an age of darkness).

Canada has changed drastically over the last 10yrs. The cost of living is unbearable and I make $30hr here. You have no life because you cannot do anything anymore, you cant go and enjoy the things you used to do becausw of the costs, groceries prices are just absolutely insane now and when you add in this super inflation with the 7months of dark cold weather it offers nothing anymore! I am born and raised here... time for a change

I did my education here in Ontario. Back home in India, education was mostly about education but here it is all about having all the experiences like weed, addictions, breakup and promiscuity etc. Everyone talks about YOLO (You Only Live Once). If you are not going to party, clubbing and staying virgin as a guy, you will become a laughing stalk.\nEvery other day I meet people who says their parents were Muslims. Just remember wherever you guys pick make sure that they speak the same dialect that you do otherwise you're going to have that learning curve of learning their dialects. It is different in a lot of places like learning to speak like the yemeni do is different than the Pakistani. So just keep that in mind. My grandfather is from Yemen and his wife who is my grandmother and my dad's side is from sudan. And they used to tell me it took them a while to understand each other. My Syrian grandmother on my mom's side would teach me words and phrases and my grandpa who was from Yemen would always make fun of me because I wasn't saying stuff right. I'm not really good at speaking Arabic but I can get by so just remember when you guys are picking somewhere to pick a place that won't be that hard to understand people. I'm only saying that because with the kids you guys send the kids to school they may learn a different dialect than what you taught at home and it will be a learning curve for them to try to understand. But I'm sure you guys will make the right decision. I just figured I would throw that in there I'm sure you already know that the dialects are a lot different and Arabic is a lot different in different parts of the world. People think Arabic is all the same and it's really different. Just like people who speak Spanish in South America speak different dialects on the Puerto Ricans just like people in Brazil don't speak Spanish they speak portuguese. Just a thing to think about. Egypt seems to be a pretty good place I have family that live in Egypt and they really liked it but I'm sure you guys will pick a place that's wonderful for your family and I can't wait till you guys know when we can see everything that you guys are doing in your new home Korean and I totally understand I am so upset the United States took the stand that they did with the genocide in Gaza and in the occupied West bank. People don't understand exactly what's going on there they don't know if they're not really up on current events and don't have any people in their family who are from a Muslim country they don't really know what's been going on. Please wherever you go, do not come to Pakistan. Even we hear and love Azan on speakers throughtout the day but the political conditions here are so perverse and uncertain that no one's safe. The leadership, political and military, have sold their imaan for the gain of this world. Outlook is very bleak but we Alhmadolillah put our faiths in Allah SWT and understand that He has a plan. But we are used to living in these conditions and will survive inShaaAllah. Look if we all go and new Muslim individuals arrive then they will struggle much more, because they wouldn’t find much native influential individuals with them to support their Islamic/Muslim causes. \nSo I think we should all stay where we are and strive much harder to change society we live in for better. \nMay Allah be with us all Aameen.

It makes perfect sense to want to get away from the things you've mentioned. The world is not the same as it was even 10 years ago. That's the last time I visited home. (Abbotsford, BC) I've lived in the States for many years now and boy was I shocked how things have changed here in Canada. I realize you and your family don't use Bible, but just to give you a biblical perspective on things that very well may parallel scripture from the Quran, at 2 Timothy 3:1-5 it says... 1 But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having an appearance of godliness but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. \nYou may be able to get away from the moral decline of where you live now, but honestly, these things are going to be world wide eventually if they aren't already. But there will be a time when God (for me his name is Jehovah), will step in and fix things. In the meantime, It's awesome you are putting your family first. It's sad that that is not the norm anymore.

This hit home on a number of levels. As black woman raised in the Great Lakes of the US MidWest I get the need to relocate which is what we did. Bigotry and environment being chief. I caution you on one aspect that will remain the same wherever you go and that is the issue of schooling and influence - YOU WILL HAVE TO BE INVOLVED AND REMAIN VIGILANT regardless of where you go as no school can replace the foundational structure of parenting and all institutions have personalities with agendas in spite of expressed mission. As for recommendations of where to relocate also consider Suranime where 14% of the population is Muslim. Since I've lived in Islamic lands the world has changed so much that xenophobia against even other Muslims in countries that used to be so welcoming to the stranger but for a variety of reason is also factor you MUST consider. God is good and will guide you.

Come to Australia we live in western Victoria side.islamic culture and community two mosques near us and three islamic schools.\nTrying to make my son Alim along with other secular degrees \n\nBut yes inflation is here too but two people working can have good life if you are not greedy of becoming a home owner and have big cars. We live on rent my husband is working only.we have three teens all going good \nLife is not luxury but very happy with good muslim friends.

Canada is becoming worse every day anyway!!! Salary are low (while cost of living is skyrocketing), which is why we have so many Canadians and immigrants who are becoming so anxious, depressed and facing all sorts of mental problems), people are moody, quality of life is decreasing and transport is trash compared to France and the lack for doctors is making this country look like a third world\nEconomy!!! Even Canadians are happy to leave this place and honestly, we think of leaving it too for another country.. that you can trust me! (My 2 younger sisters are actually leaving and makes plans to leave Canada behind for good to immigrate elsewhere and my older brother plans to relocate to a warmer country.\n.. and NO!! As a Christian I am interested in discovering what different religions believe. But the other night he heard what I was listening to and he was very upset that I was watching your channel. Sorry guys, all of the reasons that you mentioned except maybe the inflation (which I think is temporary and happening around the world), are the reasons that you SHOULD STAY in Canada. If you leave then you are giving up challenges and trying to find an easy way out. Please remember nothing comes easy and if you leave Canada then you are not going to be part of the struggle to change the mindsets of Canadian society that Muslims can be also accepted in Canada as they are, which may not come during your or your children's lifetime but it will come eventually maybe during your grandchildren or great grandchildren's lifetime and you need plant the seed for that now otherwise there will be no fruitful outcome. It needs lots of patience and initial suffering for a group of minority or downtrodden people to be accepted within the mainstream societly. If the Muslim people start leaving Canada just like you guys then there will be fewer Muslims for this struggle to bring changes in Canadian society. I think you are escapign the struggle and suffering and you guys can affford that but you are leaving many of them behind who cannod afford to leave Canada and it will make their lives even worse and the future generation. You need to look at the bigger picture and and the future. Anyway, this is my personal openion, which you or your audiences may not agree.

I move from one country to another every five years because of the nature of my job. As a practising Muslim with children here are some of the countries I’ve lived in which you guys should consider :\n- Turkey is very developed and your family will have to make less adjustments in terms of quality of life. If you can speak Turkish then you are good to go.\n-Morocco has a very rich culture and the economy is relatively stable.\n- Malaysia is beautiful and has great community sense. Very helpful people. The main adjustment will be with the eastern culture which is very conservative. The cuisine is also very unique.\n- Qatar and UAE are both similar in the sense that finding jobs won’t be a problem and lots of people understand and speak english. Also these two countries are developed and the \n education standards are the highest I have seen in countries following sharia. Also these countries are less strict than Saudi Arabia which is my native country. I really hope you two \n aren’t considering it. Your girls will not grow up happy in Saudi. Trust a women who has done it. I love my religion but inshallah no child should go through that environment because her \n parents were attracted to the holy land.\n-Lastly this is a rather outlier in this list but you should consider India. There are mosques everywhere in almost every city and even the Hindus fondly wake up to the azaan. Most \ninclusive non-Muslim country I have lived in. My children loved it. We lived in one of the many Muslim communities near a mosque in a city called Hyderabad which was ruled by a Muslims for hundreds of years. Even though they have their own languages nearly everyone speaks english. The schools are great. The police create spaces for Muslims to worship on the roads so that traffic doesn’t disturb them. Very inclusive and the city itself is beautifully developed. The job market is great and it is a very affordable place to raise a family.\n\nI hope you guys check these places out. I’ve only listed the countries which I felt were the best options but I’ve lived in almost all the countries with a sizeable Muslim population. Best wishes to you folks from the Sayyid family. It’s very hard to realize our government and most western governments are supporting genocide. I do see some minds being changed by what’s happening in Gaza and the West Bank right now due to the internet and sites like Democracy Watch Now. \nThe part you said about drag queens telling stories at the library being bad is a bit hypocritical if you are suggesting that we should be tolerant of how others live. Tolerance should not stop at certain groups of people . I doubt that a drag queen telling a story would hurt your children. You could find out, when those events are happening and not go. \nI’ve travelled in at least 12 Muslim countries in the Middle East and there is plenty of things wrong in every country. No country is perfect because they are ran by humans \nI wish you all the best where ever you land.

Even though I became Muslim only since mid March, I’ve been considering making the Hijra to a Muslim country Insha’Allah. I can’t relate to living in cold weather conditions being in Southern California, but I can relate to everything else. \n\nI’m not married. Insha’Allah one day I will. But I think about the safety my wife will have going out in public in her hijab. Insha’Allah I’ll have kids and I wonder about the indoctrination going on in society. \n\nBut the biggest thing for me is living in the US and knowing that whoever is in charge will endorse genocide. And for a country that prides itself on free speech, yet we see that speech being limited when it comes to standing up for what’s right. I actually had a feeling that was going to be your number one reason before you got to it.\n\nI can’t make this happen right now but Insha’Allah in the next few years, be able to work on it so it can happen.

i started to practice islam in 2009 while living in spain. and left it in 2010 and relocated to turkey. would never go back. love spain and keep my best memories of living there. but now i have three kids and need to think about them first. and i think that a muslim should live in a muslim environment. istanbul is like a european city but with adhan and people who wont harass you for your religion.

I completely agree and cosign with this. Canada is not anymore a living place especially for muslims. You perfectly nailed it and these are all the reason that i would like to leave this country. It is so hard to live here, there is no enjoyment, we work full time and cant even save to go on vacation and experience new things.

Salam alakium. My husband and I live in America. We’ve had this very same discussion for the very same reason and the government’s support of isnotreal is our main reason as well. Allowing foreign buyers to purchase houses while NOT living in Canada was the trigger that started all this. Canada receives WAY TOO MANY immigrants per year. The system cant adjusts fast enough. This drive the demand for housing and for rents. \nCanada needs to close access to land/house to foreign buyers, stop investment visa, and cease immigration for a few years until the system catches up to the demand.\nY'all leave Canada and won't ever give up your Canadian passport in case things go south in your new country (also visa privilege).

I've seen some mischievous interviewers ask if Islam is so great why come here and not stay in Islamic countries. If you’re me, I would definitely move to the USA but there are not that many Muslim people and other does not go off so I would recommend living in Islamabad ?? It’s really pretty and it is not just hot weather it is rainy and hot sometimes and the Athan goes off there to and it is so pretty but the one thing is that it’s a bit expensive to live in❤

Qatar is in our minds. \nIslam, livable prices, good schools, modern technology with keeping with tradition.. \nit’s getting harder to live in the US when like you said your government isn’t choosing to be humane over power and money. We are originally from Bulgaria but Turks and came to UK 10 years ago, we just bought our house 3 years ago, basically created everything from scratch. It is bot an easy task to start from the beginning again but I believe that if Allah maid to think about moving that means He will help you.\nAs a hijabi muslim woman in a community that there are not other Muslims around I can say I feel relatively safe BUT some days I notice the look of hatred in n some peoples eyes. The other thing my girl started to question some topics they have been receiving at school and it is a constant battle for me to keep explaining to her the right and wrong. More over she is listening for now but not sure for future and this scares me.\nAs you said praying and being a practicing Muslim is difficult here as well. We are Turks but do not have Turkish nationality but when we go for religious holidays in Istanbul I feel completely different, it just feels like I have to live there near the mosque. My inner me begging me when we are in Istanbul in the old part of the city to stay there forever. \nI really know what you feel and want. I am looking for Muslim countries where possible we can move BUT unfortunately I made the conclusion that there is not a place even in a Muslim land that we can live the way of peaceful practicing and being a Muslim what we want to be. \nJust advise be careful with the Arab world, other than that if you look at Türkiye I would say do your research really well, not in every town there you can live your religion. Azerbaijan is excellent I would say but they are still under the influence of Russia. \nSo really difficult decision, may Allah guide you. Amin

It is a Muslim country, alhamdullilah, although there is a major class of citizen coming up here who'd like it to be more 'open minded' like the West. May Allah protect us from that day. I would suggest that you move to Saudi Arabia, preferably into or around Makkah or Madinah. I believe that these two are the best cities in the world for Muslims. Imagine saying your five daily prayers in Masjid-e-Haraam or Masjid-e-Nabawi! You kids could study there and grow up speaking and understanding Arabic like Arabs. Imagine the understanding and appreciation they'd have of the Quran and Hadith moreover, they'd be able to reap benefits from the work of all major scholars. InshaaAllah. BUT, on the other hand, you guys are Allah's workers there in Canada. You could do dawah, spread Allah's word (you're doing that beautifully already). You'd be doing what the messengers of Allah did. Think of it this way, if you leave, there'll be one less family supporting Palestine and the Islamic way of life in Canada. Maybe, Allah wants someone like you to represent Him there. Allahu Aalam. There's this beautiful piece of Urdu poetry by Syed Sadiq Hussain, it goes something like this ' Tundi-e-baad-e mukhalif se na ghabraa ae uqaab --- Yeh to chalti hai tujhay ooncha uranay ke liye!' translation:- Do not fear the strength of the head-winds (opposing wind) O' eagle -- it but blows only to help you soar higher! All I'm saying is that there's another way of looking at your dilemma. You guys are like a small, bright light in a dark night and can help lost travelers reach safety. Cheesy, I know. Do Istikhara, let Allah give you His suggestion. Follow it and you can never go wrong innshaaAllah. What ever you decide, our dua'a are with you, uhhibukum fi'llah. Wassalam Wa Rahmah!!

We family living in Canada too, we moved from a « muslim » country with Athan heard 5 times a day… but recent years it changed people are only muslims but no iman no safety no akhlak. So we moves to Canada in 2018 and now we have decided to move out for ur same reasons but we are still wondering where to go. I am following u to figure out a good place. Jazakum Allah khayran

Salaam Alaikum. Originally from the states but living in Thailand since 2018. As a revert, I have never felt any safer than I do in Southeast Asia. I would personally recommend going to Malaysia. Been there 9x and it is a second home to me. Amazing people, amazing culture, Halal food EVERYWHERE and there’s always a Masjid nearby and if at a shopping mall, supermarket, etc. They have Musalla for Salah.
