I was a foreign student in Canada (35 years ago). My student visa required proof of ability to support myself. It never occurred to me that the Canadian taxpayer should support me. Apparently things have changed. A lot.

You should abide by the rules of the uni or the country you’re in. I live in Nova Scotia and most of our population is practically now Indian population it was never like that say 8 years ago,im fine with anyone from any country living here for sure but it must not be bad for them because they have moved here in droves,practically every business is filled with indians all working in them and including where i work,ill tell ya there dedicated workers and work hard and i get it they need the hours to get there Canadian citizenship?So is there a long time perk of being indian and moving to Canada,Nova Scotia perhaps that i dont know about?Because us Canadians that have lived here all there lives are definitely not getting any perks or barebones living for godsake.

In my 60 years here in Canada I have never seen things this chaotic or confused or angry or bigoted. I am guilty of some of this myself and I am ashamed. I feel frustrated at the lack of opportunity and success that we used to have here in Canada. I have placed the blame on others, instead of on a government that has no direction or sense of how to do anything except raise taxes continually only to waste it, embezzle it, or allow it to be stripped from the country and taken to other countries. Corporations and criminal enterprises complete the triumvirate of evil, and turn us all against one another. I think we need a change in government, a healthy corporate tax rate, many more small businesses( that are not franchises ), and a return to making what is needed and supplying it for a fair and cheap price. No more billionaire money hoarders or corporate fat cats. None of us have benefitted from this system they created.

I think everyone is missing the point here. I Don’t support Israel’s retaliation, but I wondered why the Arab world has not taken in a single refugee. Poland didn’t condone Russia’s attack by taking in hundreds of thousands Ukrainian refugees. If Egypt, jordan, Quatar, to name the immediate Arab Neighbors would rally together to get the women and children out of harms way, surely the outcome would be better for these poor people. \n\nSadly this is not the case and it appears as though this conflict will never find a solution, as long as both parties are not able to set aside their millennia aged quarrel, acknowledge each other’s deep roots and belonging to the same land, and accept that they both come from the exact same bloodline. The exact same seed of a man named Abraham. Both parties need not to like or even tolerate each other, but they both need to respect each other’s right to co exist within that space. I’ve heard some disgusting vitriol from both sides, honestly. Both sides have and are behaving like animals. Infact animals are more civil, as their disputes are settled in a more humane manner, without the casualties within their communities. Yet, despite being created in God’s image with the ability of sophisticated communication, both sides are unable to get past their own hurt pride, at least for the sake of the innocent lives that have and continue to be lost on BOTH sides, to finally squash this matter once and for all.\n\nGrowing up I had a cousin . We both were the only Sons of our respective immediate families’, born to identical twin sisters, 3 months apart. From\nA young age everything was competition between us. Who ran faster, jumped higher, threw further. Every thing we did, and we spent a lot of time around each other, was constantly turned into a “who does it better”. This resulted in us usually throwing down as one of us, feeling like we may be on the losing end of any given task, would just get frustrated, and start soccer punching the other. And my cousin and I from the time were off the diary to the day we both matured, would THROW down. We would literally just start throwing punches at each other, it was honestly impressive how we both would manage to land equal amount of hits to look like literal bloody hell, and guess what, even those fights became competition as even our dads would throw money with the others pitching for their favourite. Fortunately, our moms, the only adults in the our community, looking back, people would just pick a side and watch as go at each other, than pull us off each other, would come stomping out of the house grab each one of us by our ears, gives us a good smack in the back our heads and sit us down, look each one of us straight in the eye, and say something like, “cut it out, you two are family, more brothers than cousins” they would demand that we both go hug it out, have a bath, if we managed to do that peacefully then we were allowed to partake in dessert that evening or allowed to stay up a little later watching tv, or whatever . My point with this overtly personal analogy is that both the Palestinian and the Israeli sides should be dragged off each there by their figurative ears pulled, sat down, scolded and reminded of their ancestrial ties to each other and to the very same land. \n\nBe honest with yourselves, some how amongst all this hate, vitriol, unnecessary death of innocent lives, are you, and those you rally with be truly ok with your opposing side coexisting harmoniously beside each other? If the answer to this question is no, the other side can not have any claim to this land and needs to be removed to god knows where, if not off the earth all together then it’s your people, not mine, that are doomed. We’ll still be chilling in North America, horrified at the unfolding events but chilling nonetheless. Although it somehow claims to not be doing so, the actions of Israel demonstrate a gruelling callousness towards Palestinian life or right to life, and the staunch calls of the constant pro Palestine protests, calling for the eradication of Israel, none absent of a deep, hate and disgust towards the Jewish people. Both are in need of serious internal reform. Honestly as a complete outsider, SHAME ON BOTH OF YOU. I don’t care who started it, or who said or did what, at this point it is imperil that this end immediately. And as an outsider, I think it’s is important that pressure be applied to both sides to put their weapons down. I don’t recall the last time anyone even mention the Israeli hostages, putting any pressure on Hamas to do the one thing that would definitely appease the Israelis. In the same breathe, Israel needs to be further pressured to stop being so trigger happy and lay off of it. \n\nI can only hope, I guess. In the meantime i should really refrain from ranting on YouTube.

Like with literally every economic problem in the world, it is the fault of the billionaires and millionaires. They could solve all these problems overnight with a fraction of their fortune, but they won't. They never will. They are too selfish, vain and greedy to ever help. While they hoarde all the wealth, the rest of us will starve and kill each other over scraps. It's plainly obvious who the villains are in this story.

So many high rises being built for the main immigrants entering Canada in the hundreds of thousands--with drug money, many without any education and the English language...bring their elderly family members who have never worked a day in Canada to pick up old age pension. This country has never been good lived here for 38 years in small towns and the small towns are exsesivly criminal cult like and act like independent countries seperate from Canada I have had many family members die from lack of health care and I myself spent 6 years being sick with no diagnosis and malked and patronized the entire time took 5 years to find out I had a leasion in my stomach and almost 7 to find out I had a hiadious hurnea I was a happy home owner and was forced out of my house by fraud which I have proof of so one of the cool kids could have a house police in this country and you can just google the amount of times people have reported to police and nothing was done the biggest criminal organization is the police and just like they did to the Mofia made Reco laws they need to bring out new laws for charging corrupt criminal lazy incompatant police because there are millions of them out court systems are a joke I tried a civil prosecution against people who have committed crimes against me and was denied to go infront of a judge because I was part native and had proof of white crime I'm a 20 licensed mechanic and have to live in my car because I can't afford rent or a house have a 100 grand invested in tools and a tool box and have the choice to starve to death or live in my car and eat I hate living and working in this country as Canada has no work place standards and the labour board is corrupt and takes bribes instead of charging business owners example east way blew up killing six people in Ottawa nation's capital I had friends who worked for that companies and reported it it has hundreds of complaints to the labour board and nothing was done and six people died I have worked for two employers who have had death in the work place and almost died three times in the work place with proof one time I was struck in the head by a sledge hammer almost killing me another reason I hate working in this country is the monopoly it is employers pay and do the bare minimum example I produce 40 to 60 thousand dollars of work every two weeks out of Wich 20 to 30 thousand is profit for the owner I make not even two percent of that profit and all services in Canada are fake useless and a run by under educated lazy incompatant people go canada

As you have said everyone should be free to practice their faith, thats what all religions teach in theory. So Canada with the diverse population should never be inclined to one faith. It has to be balanced. All other reasons are valid.

I did my PhD in Canada, the salary was extremely low, I could only pay for room and board. We live better because my husband came to work. I won several scholarships to improve my financial status and I had to leave 50% of my scholarship in the laboratory!!!! laboratory policy. I think it was going to be better than in Colombia but the payment was too low. I returned to Colombia and now I earn much more. PhD students should be treated as real workers. we do research on an entire country. Never think in doing a phd in Canadá

If I was Prime Minister. I would Ban the immigrant Visa program for the next 10 years. I would deport anyone who has overstayed there welcome (those with expired visas) or are here (illegally) and now (not documented) \n\nThat alone would take many out of the shelters, homes, rentals, streets that should not be in the Country anymore. Leaving the resources and the people who work and volunteer for those resources to help the Canadian people (which would be the prime reason for this) Canadians first ! \n\nI would cut the Carbon Tax. Lower the Property Tax. Put a cap on all Strata fees. Lower the deficit. \n\nBuild more Hospitals and treatment centers. Put a ban on drugs and safe injections (as we know there is no such thing) \n\nMake it mandatory for those in need due to drug and mental issues (that have been diagnosed with such) to go to treatment centers (while building more centre's and hiring qualified professionals workers) to stop the crisis. \n\nChange laws on crimes and the time and penalty behind them. Doubling and tripling the time served and raising bail fees by 50% to keep folks that have criminal pasts off the streets <---- for first time offenders. \n\nFor those that have multiple offenses. Quadruple the jail times and put bail amounts 100% more then what they are now. \n\nGive those that kill, ra*e, torture, (and things along that nature (the death penalty) \n\nI would remove the mandate for Electric Vehicles for Canada. Where only 1 vehicle per manufacturer would have to be Electric. So if somebody wants it. It's there but the majority would be. Gas / Diesel etc. \n\nI would build more housing / schools / retirement homes / hospitals / recreation centre's / Library and walk in Clinics. \n\nI would write a law that the roads in Canada must be fixed properly. Not just patched. \n\nI would raise the taxes on Multi Million and Billion Corporations and those that make $400.000 or more to pay a higher tax. While those that make less than $400.000 get taxed less. \n\nI would Lower the provincial taxes by 2% effective immediately and the Minimum wage across all provinces would be $17.75 an hour for full time workers (over 32 hours per week) with .25 cent yearly increases until 2030 to be reassessed. \n\nI would give Tax cuts to those who want to open businesses and build and sell Canadian Products to make sure Canadian Goods are affordable to make. Still have a profit to slow down overseas production creating more Canadian jobs for Canadian People. \n\nEvery Worker that works 24 hours or more weekly is getting Benefits making it mandatory for all types of business owners to make benefits available to the workers and ensuring the plan covers a minimum of 50% throughout the entire year. \n\nI would raise the pension to those who have worked 25+ years in Canada and remain in Canada as a retiree for a minimum of 6 months of the year 5% \n\nShrinkflation will stop. With major corporations getting fined if they don't smarten up and change the way the make and package goods. \n\nI would put a cap on Car insurance for those that have never been in an accident before and lowering the monthly cost by 10% \n\nCondo sizes would have to increase the square footages by a minimum of 10% of the national average to make sure that there is enough room and peaceful environment for those that live in those spaces. \n\nI would ban that you would have to pay additional for parking at every Rental property including lockers, that the property owners purchased during pre construction as well as lower the public parking costs nation wide in parking garages by 20% and cap it. \n\nI would Lower transit costs nation wide by 20% and cap it. \n\nI would bring back texts books and paper to schools so kids read more. Write more. Understand more. Learn more for those in grade 8 and under. \n\nI would ban every Pride event in Canada and charge people fines if they hang rainbow colored Canadian flags anywhere on any property including ban clothing with those colors on the Canadian Flags immediately. Failure to do so would also Ban same sex marriage the following year on the same date that the first ban was made if Failure to comply. \n\nI would ban any book or literature for kids that is LGQTB written. \n\n& that is just the beginning.

I’m surprised you never saw me. I’m homeless in a shelter and I hate this city.. well I hate all the cities like this. The people are heartless and sacred. The homeless are high and sad… I wander the streets like all day every day. When I have money I try to help the street people. Or I end up smoking weed on occasion. But there’s a lot of garbage and garbage people out there. I’m basically the rat king. I wander round doing anything I can. I’m pretty crazy tho I have bpd and doctors don’t really help anyone. I just live in the shelter and during the day I wander the streets trying to learn the city and help people. Sometimes I’m rude and angry and insane due to the state of the city and all I’ve seen. I yell and sing as I walk around just to hate everyone who is the average scumbag citizen. You know who I mean.. and I call them out on their bs. But only during my bpd episode or whatever. Otherwise I try to help all the street rats. But lots of them are helpless addicts like it’s hard to find the proper way to help. You gotta be careful who you help I suppose, because your good intentions of helping can lead to harming them. They end up buying drugs I guess sometimes. I am very easy to spot. I’m zooming down the streets. I usually walk so fast and everyone is so brainwashed brain dead slaves of society for real… they don’t care or help no one. I mean some do but it’s extremely rare…. I’ve probably walked literally everywhere you were. That park on Jarvis. I see those security guards lol they were dicks to you and definitely lied about not being on camera. I see them like almost every day. And all the other places. I slept outside a few times not often. I’ve been to all these spots I walk by them all the time it was crazy to see it all. Born here and sadly spent a few years homeless in Toronto after both of my parents died (orphaned) when I was younger. I remember being told I had to be at least 25 years old to get help from Streets to Homes in Toronto and was homeless at 17 with no living parents (orphaned). It wasn't until the beginning of Covid that I moved away and another city helped me get off the street in 4 months. Have my own wonderful place for the past 3 1/2 years.\n\nSo glad I never gave up, and so glad I never started drugs.

Left Canada when I was 16 and never wish to return. About the media Canada's media and American media has been owned and corrupt by most of the same people. You really never got to know US, though they have their troubles. For example, the same as Canada, they return to voting for the most corrupt of politicians and those who wish to ruin North America. The video is informational and direct much appreciated, I disagree with this reason why Canadians invest in homes vs businesses, how does one prove that statistic? It is impossible to gain a correct statistical data as ones state of consciousness will never show the true reality of the data, Many Canadians want to open their own business and they have also recognized market opportunities its rather due to few cognitive barriers. Possibly the support programs to open one.

Why is the healthcare system considered great? It's truly appalling. I had to wait 8 hours for my son to see the doctor at a Children's Hospital for a check-up on his diarrhea, and the doctor only needed five minutes to complete the entire examination. I've never encountered such a terrible healthcare system anywhere on this planet.

Nowhere in the world has free drugs and safe injection site program worked. They have all failed and more drug users come from it. Even with failure stats from other countries, canada keep wanting to expand the program. But never in rich neighborhoods.

I moved to Canada over a decade ago, when I moved it was easy to find a job, and you could afford a decent life even with minimum wage.\n\nFast forward to today, I am already a canadian citizen, and me and my wife both make 6 figures, yet I lost my job for the first time in my life 5 months ago, and I only found a new job now because a friend helped.\n\nIt show me that if for some reason at some point me and my wife lose our jobs we won’t be able to survive in Canada for long even tho we already own a house.\n\nThis country is awful right now, I am honestly considering moving out of here because things just started to get nasty it’s going to get worse.\n\nIf I sell my house now and everything I own, I can live a comfortable life back in my home country, and honestly I prefer to do that.\n\nFor anyone reading this, please, for your own good, do your research.\n\nAll Canada gave me in the last decade is bad mental health, if I never left my country I would have good life there now
