Well, you are one negative fella. You choose to live in Vancouver. I live in Quebec and my rent is $550 for a one thousand square foot 2 bedroom. You obviously choose your data. It's people like you that make others feel miserable. When I go outside, I see happy faces, nice well maintained streets, beautiful homes, and a lot of nice cars. i work in small town in bc...we have lots of transitional contractors and work force members, lots of diversity. i have met people from all over the world and they all claim the nationality of being canadian or a new canadian from whatever country.\ni have also met several people who claim their non canadian nationality while some make quips about how canadian women are supposed to be docile. one guy actually said to me that he doesn't like how i am too strong willed, unlike the girls in the gta who don't do direct eye contact. i deadpanned him and informed him that western girls are different, our western men are good enough to stand beside us when dealing with mental midgets!

Here is my opinion on this video.\n(First of all, I'm not Indian.)\n\n1. Who let them enter this country? Who approved their visas? What are the colleges, and universities issuing more and more study permits, and offer letters for one particular country? Who is taking the responsibility? \nNobody. \n\n2. Who let them build large temples, mosques and statues in this country? Who permitted to celebrate a mass rallying on public roads? Who is permitted to make a loud noise in a public place? \n\n3. Why are so-called Canadians (especially younger) not getting a higher education? Not willing to get a master's, or Ph.D.’s or even high school education. Why they are willing to get minimum-wage jobs? \n\n4. Why do these Canadians depend on social welfare system even if they can contribute their talent, and labour to this beautiful country? \n\n5. Why do we as a country face a lack of productivity issue rather than our south neighbour USA?\n\nI'm also an immigrant who came to this wonderful country (again I'm not Indian). But what I see, is nobody going to take responsibility for this social, economic and political issue. Liberals complain to conservatives, conservatives point to liberals and so on. But I would say both parties and Canadians let them play their games on this soil now they blame each other. \n\nOne last thing, I respect Canadian culture that’s why I'm in this country. If I can’t respect or adopt Canadian culture I won’t stay here and if I am in India I will respect their cultural values from my heart. If not I'm leaving.

I understand. I'm going back to Europe after 17 years!! I'm a certified teacher with a brilliant teaching career in Europe and I cannot teach here. Everything is so expensive and I cannot make it anymore. I agree, it's just very sad, it's our life, our dream. I came to Canada with a lot of love and with the willingness to give all my heart, potential, abilities and skills. I cannot make it anymore...my soul and heart are slowly dying. I'm 55, I cannot end my life working two or more jobs and moving every two to four years because landlords keep kicking out of the house old tenants because they raise the rents. Over $3000 a month. Who can afford that? I'm a single mom. Buying a house is impossible as well...\nSo I'm going back to my country. I'm packing my 17 years of life in a few suitcases in one hand, and my son on the other hand. My heart feels heavy and abundant tears are falling off my eyes, but I'm sure that we are going toward a brighter future and surrounded with the love of family and friends.

This is the price to be paid. Canada needs desperately imigration, otherwise it will disappear as a nation in 2 or 3 generations.\nBirth rates is too low. Nobody wants kids because life in freezing countries is too expensive due winter gears, hitting, cars, insulation in every building, store or house, gas, salt on streets,  shovelling, mandatory insurance for everything, health care is a joke, and so on. It is endeless. \nCanada is definitely an uninhabitable place. 92% of canadians live very close the US border due the miserable freezing endeless drepressing 9 months cold weather. Nobody wants go north. Freezing weather makes life unbearable and extremely expensive. If we had a free US-Canada border, Canada would  be empty..\n\n.

This whole idea of groups of people taking over and changing a landscape is the cycle of human history. White Europeans aren't the first 'Canadians' lol. It may make people uncomfortable but just deal and remember we are all just humans trying to make a life, have a family and income. Expats do go to other countries and make their own little clubs, take over land and business. People seek opportunities no matter where they go. The only point I would agree with here is that the rate of immigration may not be sustainable with the housing shortage etc.

Nobody talks about how the way they con their way into becoming permanent residents is a complete fraud and scam. Fake marriage visa's that get divorced the week after they land, pretending to be students at colleges just so they can fast track visas, sponsoring relatives to be stay at home nurses when there was a shortage of health care professionals during covid.... If I could move south to the states I would! Me and my wife both in our mid 20s and born and raised here make a combined income of over $150k a year and can’t afford to buy a home. However our rental expenses are pushing $3000 a month for a small 2 bedroom house yet we can’t get a mortgage…. Not to mention the absurd cost for food, gas and other day to day things. I was born and raised in Canada and in my 60’s now. I can’t afford to live here anymore, healthcare has declined, personal safety, fuel costs, insurance etc. most of all our politics are a mess on all three major parties. The Liberals are a royal mess and inflation went through the roof. They’re just running around like the 3 blind mice making fools of themselves. The Conservatives are involving themselves in a right wing romance with fascist trumpianism and think poutine is an ok guy. The hate speech is unreal. We used to be a real chill country. I have young 20 somethings telling me they think Communism is a great idea and they would rather fight for poutine if a war breaks out. Well it’s their future not mine. The AI, bots and trolls on the internet are telling them what they want to hear in order to stir up hate and entitlement. The NDP (New Democratic Party) is neither here nor there, they’re kind of always the minority and swing both the other two parties to divide the vote and gain some form of temporary power. \nI’d like to see a politician that has the balls to stand up to the dictators of this world that shit disturb in every continent because they are such little insecure bastards that they think they can conquer it. I’ve got news for them. Every single dictator in history has failed… miserably and often brutally. We need the kind of leadership in our Country that can produce good governance. Our GDP is just under $60K. The dictators out there are rubbing their greedy little hands, for if there is ever a 3rd world war, Canada will be the prize. We are loaded with resources. A lot of people in this country don’t realize how much of a gift it is to be born in Canada, as a son of two immigrants who left their country, their family, their beliefs only for me to have a better life here in Canada. It’s mind boggling for me how people born here haven’t taken advantage of the infinite amount of opportunities. I have not finished high school but have worked on bettering myself since the day I dropped out, this life is not for the weak minded it’s for the risk takers. If the homeless who lived here their entire life couldn’t make it happen for them and are not happy with their current situation I would strongly advice them to seek help for their mental health, change their bad habits, quit their addictions and if that doesn’t suffice maybe move to a third world country just to experience true homelessness, true hopelessness..

You guys are so lucky in the AU because you guys are a big Island with nothing attached like the USA and Canada are so the world flies into some Countries in South America that don't require a passport and they make their way into the USA because of open borders and then into Canada. The Immigrants that we want to keep are leaving and all the non educated from third world Countries are coming in to freeload.

Canada's biggest problem is the weather. \nEveryone is living in a very small warm part of the country ,housing is so expensive because of that. \nThe rest of the country is undeveloped and unhabitual and controlled by the native governments who don't like foreign people. \nBasically you need to be super rich in order to make it.

Singapore Airlines is an absolute treat to fly on. I gather in a microcosm, it is interesting to compare Air Canada and Singapore airline or all Nippon airways, with Air Canada. Air Canada is very expensive for a one or two hour flight, not so in Southeast Asia. Air Canada service is horrible, intimidating, and nasty. Singapore airlines and all Nippon airways, is exactly the opposite. Air Canada makes it very difficult for you too make claims on cancelled flights, broken luggage, and breaches of contract. Singapore airlines and other airlines in Southeast Asia go out of their way to advert a claim. The taxes on a ticket with Canada is horrendous, both indirect and direct taxes, in Singapore and all Nippon airways, much more reasonable. I think when you compare to airlines or multiple airlines against Air Canada, Air Canada is a microcosm of economics, workplace normality, and courteousness. Canadians will always say “I am sorry. “but let me assure you for somebody that is both, culturally Asian and Canadian, they don’t mean it a bit. The culture is more passive aggressive than anything else. Canadians are distant, and have a very, very remote education on their own country. I also have to give credit to the Singaporean pilots. There is usually the captain, first officer, and a second officer or two upfront. Excellent training for the up-and-coming first officers and captains. In Canada, of course we don’t do this. I feel at the safety upfront, especially in an IFR environment, is being sacrificed in Canada and North America. cost is everything, will safety seems like it has taken a backseat. Second officers should be mandatory on all Air Canada flights. This is not the case anymore. Also, on a visual approach to hit the button, I would definitely give the Singapore captain the edge. The hands and feet of an air. Canada pilot has deteriorated beyond belief where, if they don’t have their flight management system and auto pilot going in full tilt, they start sweating and second-guessing themselves. I’ve witnessed this many times.

This makes me sick. Our own people are suffering because of Trudeaus seeking voters outside of the country because most Canadians utterly hate him.
