Canada is a dump now. It’s so sad. Not like when I was a kid. Trudeau ruined it.

Growing up half of my relatives were Canadian, and we visited often. It always seemed that Canada was a cleaner, friendlier version of America. I still visit on occasion, but it's not the same country, either is the United States for that matter. There's no escape!

Why you are spreading hate for students. When you should criticize the Canadian government and colleges. Why the government accepted so many visas at first place. Without student visa Indian students cannot come to Canada. But the government only cared about the money. They took the taxes and fees from students and now all hate is going towards students. I admit that the students must follow the rules and regulations. But the government should be accountable for the over immigration.

I'm not being racist but many drivers from India are driving like crazy in Canada and totally ignoring their safety and the safety of others. When I was driving in Surrey, British Columbia, I saw several drivers who are totally ignoring traffic rules and when I saw their faces, I'm sure they are from India. Those Indians who grew up in Canada and learned their driving skills here are very different from those who learned their driving skills in Indian. That's a FACT!

I met too many international students and most them they were studying on line!!! so they are not need to came to Canada, but the reason is they came for work. Each one has two jobs !!! So the reason coming for work and save money not for study and at the end after graduation they stay in Canada and never come back home.

Last year in 2023, many Africans came to Canada ?? as a visiting tourist and end up claiming asylum. Most of them were sleeping on the streets of Toronto because there were not enough beds available in the shelter to accommodate them. I remembered that one African die sleeping on the street. So, the government is trying to prevent this type of situation

Deport my god what happened to Canada. These people only associate with their own and block us out. Come on really housing has gone un afordable. You can find many family's under one roof. Housing is not reachable for young Canadian family's who want a back yard. Housing that was $15,000 or so is $500,000 up to un reachable a crap tear down I seen was $535,000. And you need to build a new house. That use to be around $60,000 to $120,000. Canadian family's don't have a chance to have normal priced housing any more because of over immigrants. I am indian but everyone should follow the law of land ...going to canada with fake papers is wrong ....yeah going through legal means and then contributing in society is different then everyone will ove to absorb imigrants ...so if anyone still desire to go to canada learn some skilled work first like construction , plumbing ,etc and not just relay on sales , restraunt jobs

I live in Canada and have a friend with stage 4 breast cancer and had to wait for health care but her $5,300 a month drug treatment was covered. She is doing fine and with medication she expected to live approx 5 years plus. We have problems with health care but when it works it is amazing.

If the post Covid housing crisis were under control, Trudeau would have done something by now. Rent here is no more expensive in the US in fact probably more expensive in New York than in a city like Ottawa Toronto or Montreal. Yes Vancouver is an expensive place to live but not all of it. There are the cheap slum apartments on east hastings. What 2 and 20 want you to believe is that Canada is an endless Kagillionare's row that's unsustainable to live. Nitpick all you want but the truth is that there are pros and cons to everything. Who said they don't want to go home? Canada invites international students with a promise to give them PR if they can finish school and qualify using one of the programs. I know because that's how I came to Canada. Unlike the US where it's hard to stay and you need a marriage, in Canada you can use a qualifying job. Usually people sponsored by family to get PR, as well as refugees, are put ahead of international students as well as those on work permits. \n\nIn the meantime, International students over-pay into post secondary, as well as working off campus and paying taxes, but are always last in line when it comes to being granted PR. The rules change so much so fast, it's easy to find yourself out of time and kicked out of the country. \n\nSo whoever watches this will be happy that International students are getting kicked out, but the problem with too much immigration won't be solved because the country is still taking in so many refugees. Right now it's international students getting the axe and are the scape goats in ths game. \n\nAlso, the reason why Canada takes in more immigrants beyond the obvious, is because they want to eventually do away with property rights. So while people can cheer kicking out international students, it doesn't prevent the inevitable from happening, because the politicians took in too many new people.. \n\nAnyway, good luck to everyone, from either side of this debate, it's bad news all around wharever the final outcome.

ADVICES to some students: Do not come to Canada!! Why come here??? It is free to study in France and Germany anyway so why waste your money in Canada or Australia!!! Save your money and invest it in your homeland to start a business or buy a land or build a house!!! Don’t do like some North Americans who spend thousands in student loans and spend 15 years to repay them!!! Canada is NIT a as attractive as it was anymore anyway due to lack of job opportunities, crappy healthcare, crappy transportation (compared to France where I come from), and impossible rents!!! Just save your money and may be start learning German and/or French so that you got alternatives!!!!

I am a legal landed immigrant. 18 years and counting. Been through hell to get re-certified back into my field….health care. I say NO. They came here on the idea to study and get back to their home countries. They need to get out. Yes….if they have skills to contribute to Canada and qualify….. then great. Otherwise BE GONE.
