I am from India , 80 % of these Indians are from the states of Punjab, Gujarat and Hariyana and they mostly come to Canada with IELTS and degree certificates obtained via improper channels . I have hardly seen any one of them actually take a serious effort towards education . Canada is doing a very bad job filtering international students. The smart ones are being absorbed by the USA, predominantly from Southern India; while Canada mostly attracts the lower tire group from North India with lower productive value to economy.

I really hate when people say there is no culture in Canada!! How so? Of course Canada doesn't have long history but still Canadians need to protect their identity. Multiculturalism and diversity is BS !!! As an immigrant myself I don't want to live in the country full of diasporas. The real problem is that Indians don't assimilate very well. In Fiji Indians were first brought in 1879. After more than a century they finally took over the government. The 1984 Multiculturalism Act has stifled debate on the subject and the Employment Equities Act of 1986 has allowed minority hiring quotas to discriminate against the majority. Being Indian, I think your government should have clear mapping between immigrant and value she is adding to economy. The strain on housing and the medical system is out of control. I truly believe that the Liberal government is trying to destroy the country. They are unable to do basic math. The school is not responsible for monitoring the number of visas given out. It is the government that allocates the visas. Embarrassing that they are blaming the schools. No international student(or Indian) will come to Canada if there is no route to PR. Do you think Canadian colleges and universities are very high in the ranking list? Not at all. So imagine if students only had the option to return home after graduation, none will come to Canada and the economy will suffer. International students exploitation is happening on the federal level, then why bother with Provincial and colleges? These are temporary visas but ultimately, PR(settlement in a new country) is the goal, otherwise these students will not pack their lives and come over here.\n\nReference: I came to Canada in 2022 and left in early 2024. There are many reasons why I left but one I felt was the demographic shift and the amount of refugees that country accepts. Additionally Canada needs to raise the bar on the quality of people coming in. I'm South Asian. My sister used to live in Brampton actually before the whole invasion began. Good thing she saw the writing on the wall and left. Sad thing is, many can not differentiate the browns who have immigrated pre 1990 and the ones who have come in post-pandemic. The ones coming in post-pandemic are the village trash, entitled, and snobby. Those people are the very same reasons we left our countries to begin with. It's wild that when we migrated to Canada we see the very same filth and trashy people we experienced decades ago before immigrating here. The worst mistake I have done in my time in Canada was to vote Liberal (for the first time ever) back in 2015 and many of us regret this choice.

Too many Indian temporary students, the newcomers, are suffering on top of all canadians. If one of the 2nd largest population immigrates to Canada, it affects all of us. It's like pulmonary ventilation. When the volume decreases( job), the pressure increases( job crisis). All the food, Hospitalities, and health sectors are filled with temporary Indian students because of Recruiters in HR are all Indians and their priorities are only Indians as they understand these 70% Indian students have huge loan back home and came with fake financial documents that were presented at the Canadian consulate at India. Need to investigate them. Every day, there are Indian newcomers, and our Canadians homeless and Burglars are on the rise. The Govt has to stop issuing a visa now.
