I would never live there. A teacher friend of mine moved from Nova Scotia with her professor husband. She taught French at Virginia Tech. She and some of her college students were murdered by a gunman who burst into her morning class. Way too much gun violence there for me. Way too much political division. Way too much Christian conservative right evangelical ideology. Way too much disparity between the rich and the poor. Way too many people in general. Way too much emphasis on an individual version of freedom that does not take into consideration the greater good of others in society. I have two cousins who live out there, however. They have lived there for many years. One is a wealthy plastic surgeon in Florida and the other is retired in New England but also well off. She just proudly got her American citizenship, in fact. They love their lives there and would never move back to Canada. It really depends on the values of the person.

To be blunt, you couldn’t pay me to move down there. I have family in Massachusetts that I visit and that’s quite enough for me. Canada isn’t perfect, but I don’t live in fear of my nephews being shot in school, or going into massive debt because of my health issues. Not to mention the recent anti trans legislation cropping up and the govt desire to control women’s bodies. No thank you. Never.

My opinion as a Canadian with no first hand life experience in the states but personally know plenty of people who do and follow many Americans on social media.\n\nI like to look at both sides of the story when I don’t personally know any better. First thing is when it comes to health care, Canadians use only the cost as an argument but never the quality. The only time I will ever use the government funded healthcare is for a broken bone. Any other issues my knowledge and experience makes me stay far and clear away from the hospitals. However I was talking with a retired business man who spends winter in Florida and he said he had a health issue while there, was referred to a certain doctor by a friend, made an appointment within a few days, not a yearlong waitlist, and with one visit had his issues fixed. Paid the bill and was done with it. Not a story of take this for a while then come back, come back to get referred to a specialist, wait a few months for the specialist, get an appointment 6 months later, and after surgery you feel only slightly better because in your mind you should be better. I do believe Canadian healthcare is low quality and sadly designed for the government to make money. American healthcare is private and needs to offer good quality services in order to succeed.\n\n\nNext subject is violence. Everyone I know and follow in the states have never had any major acts of violence towards them. I believe just like Canada, some areas are more prone to violence but since the states have 10x more people, they have 10x more violent spots which makes it seem worse. Rural Canada and rural United States seems to me very similar in the way people treat each other. \n\n\nI wouldn’t be scared to move there if that’s what would be best. Doubt it’ll happen because I enjoy having the amount of unpopulated area to go riding atvs, snowmobiles, and whatever else. Seems like the states have less area that everyone can freely enjoy but I could be wrong

The thing here in Canada! When it’s about our health in hospital, if we need a surgery, they are free of charge, unless it’s an esthetic surgery, then it’ll be charge, life for breast implants, normally costing here around 5000$, but if the woman is flat and her hormones never succeeded to make her breast growth, it’ll be the only case it’ll turn free!

I would never move to the USA, no way. It’s unsafe and too racist compared to Canada??,by far. You can walk around Toronto at any hour,the fifth largest city in North America and not worry about being robbed or beaten up. No murders, no crime, no looting. Everybody works. Some of the reasons Canada is voted the best Country in the world almost every year.

Love to visit the States. Met some wonderful Americans but a country that prioritizes guns over their children is fundamentally broken. The fact that it isn't something they think about (as he said) is telling. If children were being killed mass execution style here and the politicians weren't doing anything but shrug their shoulders I think Canadians would dismantle the Government. The fact that they don't do everything they can to protect their kids is everything in a nutshell to why I would never live there. Canada isn't perfect but I will take it any day over the States!

I am from Brazil, moved to Canada 9 years ago, now I am Canadian citizen. I was once asked by a American colleague why did I not immigrated to the USA, the answer is: it was not even in the list of possible countries. In fact it is on my top list of places not to move to. \n\nYou have a good insurance through your job? That only means you have one more reason to fear losing it or stay on a particularly bad one if you don’t have anything lined up, if you have a chronic health condition, then you are straight out hostage to your employer. Even if you do have good insurance your bills may one day go beyond the maximum and you still risk bankruptcy. \n\nIf you do go bankrupt, in any civilized country you can’t go to jail for debt, in the USA you can, the country with the highest incarcerated population in the world in absolute numbers and relative too. To add salt to the injury it is a country that did not completely make slave work illegal, it is still legal if you are not a free citizen and your prison system exploit that.\n\nSo it is a country that you can become slave because you got sick.\n\nThen there are the guns… the fact you think you are exempt of school shootings says it all, if you live in a small city it would not affect you? Are you really saying mass shootings never occur in small cities?! This is an excerpt:\n\n“The massacre that killed 10 people at a high school in Texas last week was just the latest to happen in a small or suburban city. Of the 10 deadliest school shootings in the U.S., all but one took place in a town with fewer than 75,000 residents and the vast majority of them were in cities with fewer than 50,000 people.”\n\nIt is all part of the gun culture, the absurd of making guns easily available and viewing guns as toys, a culture were people think taking your life is a proportional response to trespassing. \n\nIt is all closely tied with all the warmongering you are ok with all the taxes you pay going to your military to kill people outside your country yet you take exception in using a fraction of that to save your own citizens lives.\n\nIt is a place which put low value in the human life and well being, favour punishment instead of prevention and rehabilitation, keeps most of its population in a constant sense of despair and helplessness…\n\nIt is no wonder the USA has the highest number of psychopaths(over than 3000 versus the second next at 166), have kids going nuts and shooting others at school.\n\nIt is not a sane culture, it is not a good place to live and if you are well informed you won’t.

I would shoot myself before I would move to the USA (finding a handgun might be tough as they are generally not available at my local convience store) Health care is a very small part of it. 5 friends over 20 years being returned from the USA in body bags. US culture is very infantile and toxic. I have tried once for 2 weeks 20 years ago and I literally cried when the plane crossed back into Canada. Racism was so much more extreme than I could imagine. The worship of the Money God was horrible. Also all the small things like the fear enhanced news programs and desentization to human rights and lack of freedom. ???

Canadians who say that they'd never move to the USA fall into these groups:\n\nA) Ignorant: People who get their news about the USA from the CBC or any of the other MSM FAKE NEWS outlets.\n\nB) Leftists/Liberals: People who would only ever move to Leftist/Liberal havens, such as New York, California or Washington; and they're aware of how those states are extremely dangerous, with violent crime on the rise, extremely high taxes and fascist governments that make Trudeau look good.\n\nC) The Elderly: Unfortunately, most elderly people in Canada are on a fixed income; and the meager healthcare they're allowed to receive is still far better than anything they can afford in the USA.\n\nI'd consider moving to a number of states in the USA. It's a great country... great people (even many DemoKKKrat voters aren't as terrible as the people they elect).

Tyler, thanks for your entertaining and fun videos. My grandfather is a dual citizen but has never renewed his passport or anything and when asked to do so, he outright refuses. He says he hated living there. We live in the Vancouver area of Canada right now. My wife is finishing her registered nursing degree and we are considering moving to washington state, within an hour or so of the Canadian border on temporary work visas (TN1) for a few years. The main reason is the cost of living differences, mostly in housing but a lot of things are cheaper down there too. For example though, the costs of rent or to buy a house in the Vancouver area is insane - 1.5 million is generally a starting point. The cost of a detached house south of the border between Bellingham and Blaine starts around $400,000 ($500,000 CDN). If renting, it's crazy cheaper than here. \n\nThe area we are considering going to is very close to the canadian border, I've never heard of major violence problems in the area. Like one of the other comments you read, we're basically considering moving there to take advantage of a lower cost of living and higher salaries for a bit to try to get ahead. Living in the Vancouver area is such an absolute DRAIN on our finances that it is intolerable. If we didn't move to the US, we'd have to find another place in Canada to go to, but we do like the climate on the coast here. I'd actually just keep commuting to Canada daily to work in Canada since it's so close to the border, and writing the bar exam to be able to practice law in any US state except California, Massachusets, or New York is a pain in the backside to even be able to write it, let alone prepare for it. Just easier for me to keep working here unless we decided to try to make a permanent move somewhere further from the border.\n\nIf we decided to change our minds and apply to stay in the US in the future, there are a lot of the other considerations that other people have raised on top of my own ability to continue as a lawyer. Gun violence in the US is crazy, extreme polarized political views and increasing intolerance against diversity of race, culture, religion, (and while it doesnt affect us directly, it bothers us how LGBTQ people are increasingly targeted with backwards policies and by certain segments of the public), the health care system in canada has it's problems but it's also got it's strong points. We'll never go bankrupt because of a health care issue since we can move back to Canada IF it's ever a problem. Thankfully we are all pretty healthy so it shouldn't be much of a problem for a while at least. And we wouldn't even move there at all if her employment as a nurse doesn't offer health care and better pay than she can obtain here. \n\nOur kids will probably attend post-secondary (college/university) in Canada as dual citizens unless they get a scholarship to a top US school. The costs of post-secondary in Canada appears to be much cheaper than in the US and we have some good colleges/universities that consistently rank high globally.

I suggest google’n “ school shootings, small town America”…. article after article, when you do, says why most mass school shootings tend to happen in small towns….where nobody expects that they would have happened & how all the residents in those towns are always surprised that they happened in their town. \nI say this as somebody who once loved the idea of moving to the USA. \nMy mom was a single parent and as a result I spent a ton of time as a very young kid in the late 80s throughout the mid 90s in a small town in Oregon on my aunt and uncles dairy farm with my cousins and I absolutely loved it. Truthfully, I still love small-town America and I love the vast majority of the people I have met from small-town America. There is the friendliness and community that I find very similar to prairie farming towns in Canada. \n And as a kid, I loved the focus on high school sports in the small USA town I spent time in and how it brought the community together. It was very exciting to go to my cousins football games—stuff like that was super fun as a kid.\nAs an adult, with 2 young kids of my own now? \nYes, I would be terrified to send my children to any school in the United States, especially knowing that the vast majority of my school shootings do happen in small towns, which is a type of place in the states I would personally like to go to, if I did move. \n\nAdditionally, I will be completely bankrupt at this point given my own health issues as well as my two kids health issues and I’m just in my late 30s. \nAnd I’m not talking to super crazy health issues, but health issues nonetheless. I have asthma that has gone through patches where I’ve had to be hospitalized & I was diagnosed with stage 3 malignant melanoma when I was in my late 20s and pregnant with my 2nd. My first child was born with a congenital heart disorder that was missed through the pregnancy and until she was two, and that involved many many trips to the hospital & various specialists until they figured out what was going on (one of the symptoms was her randomly stopping breathing and going blue, which was terrifying, and could’ve been for many different reasons & it took many specialists & many hospital visits to figure it all out)\nMy son was born with a multiple protein intolerance and later received an autism diagnosis. There a decent number of hospital visits and specialists for his first couple of years of life too. \n\n I have no idea if I was in the United States how I would’ve paid for any of our health issues (let alone all three of ours) for that 5 or 6 year period where we all needed various types of regular-ish medical care. \n(because we got good medical care, thankfully, none of us have really had to see doctors any more than the average person in the last few years?)\n\nMy kids are now in elementary school, and, as a Canadian, the issue of school shootings happening anywhere….., including in small towns that seem perfectly safe……as well as the cost of healthcare for stuff that is covered by our taxes here in Canada….. are the two biggest reasons that I will think fondly of my time in small-town America, but would never consider moving there

I'm British, now retired and living in Spain for 20 years. Have noticed that in the last 10 years there are an awful lot of Americans who are moving here mainly because, although they still have to have private health, it's hugely cheaper here and the service is good; also the lifestyle is more laid back and they can visit a lot of different cultures. In the late 1960s my husband and I emigrated to Toronto, Canada. Visited the US a couple of times. First to NY city, second time down to Kentucky /Tennessee. My parents came on that trip with us. Met Americans at the motels we stayed in and a couple of times my father nearly lost it (don't know how he just kept quiet) as Americans his age were quite abusive and kept on about about how we'd never be able to repay America for their help in WW2 (my father fought in that for all 6 years). Anyway left Canada after 4 years and returned to England; not because we didn't like it but I was terribly homesick. None of the Canadians we're still in touch with would ever have moved to the US.

My visits to the U.S. have always been positive experiences. Always. But, when you see signs in malls (outside of Macey's at the Mall of America) to keep your guns locked in your cars and not bring them into the mall...well!!! So many reasons to not leave Canada. So many to not move to the U.S. Just the politics alone is nonsensical. The inmates are running the asylum. Sorry Tyler, thanks but hell no. Never.

I am Canadian, I was born here in the 60's, I've travelled around the world, including the US but have always lived and worked in Canada. I love my country. saying that now....\nThe last 10 years for Canada has been the worst ever in history, our government has destroyed the foundation of what it means to be Canadian and has made this country look very bad on the world stage.\nEventually that will change. This currently gives reasons why a Canadian wants to move from Canada.\nYou are right about the US, there are places you can move to that offer quiet, country, safe living but like Canada, those places usually trade the good life for lack of opportunity.. the difference is most of Canada gives you the good life and opportunity in the same place. A good example, Billings Montana or Red Deer Alberta... if you compare the 2, they are close, but overall life in Red Deer would be better.\nCulture has changed thoughts too, I could never get used to seeing anyone other that law enforcement carrying a gun.. I realize Americans have the right to carry guns.... but why? are you being invaded?\nI will pick up a gun if i need too in order to protect my country, but I don't need to prove it by displaying it in public. I went to a conference in the US for training in body language, influence, and persuasion. We were able to meet with the presenters in small groups to ask questions. One of the attendees asked for body language indications that someone had a concealed weapon. After the answer, I said to the person who asked the question that I was glad I didn’t need to know how to look for concealed weapons because I’m from Canada. She looked at me in shock and said I really needed to know that. I emphatically responded, “No, I don’t need to know that because I’m from Canada.” She looked at me like I was the most naive and clueless person she’d ever met and walked away. I felt sad that Americans have to be so worried about guns that she thought that was absolutely essential knowledge. Quite frankly, I don’t even know what the answer was to her question since I totally tuned out because I knew I’d never need that information!

Sorry Tyler, you walked right into that hornet’s nest... no clear-minded Canadian would ever willingly move to the USA unless it was for money or, as you said in the first 20seconds, ‘stuff’. When people talk about the USA, they talk about ‘stuff’ and ‘things’ , usually easily replaceable ‘stuff’ and ‘things’.... when people talk about Canada, they talk about ‘people’ and ‘places’. It’s not the stuff and things that make a country great, it’s the people and places... there’s a reason why not one Canadian has ever felt the need to make, sell, or wear a cap that declares ‘Make Canada Great Again’, because Canada has never stopped being great, and that’s because of its people and places.\nSorry again, bud! ??????

As an American who has lived in Canada a very long time, I would never ever even think about moving back.

I don't think I would move to the U.S. for many reasons. Healthcare is great in Canada. I don't think I'd be able to afford insurance in the U.S. , I also would be afraid of guns, the coastlines will rise by the 2030s, so my dreams of California and New York are out as well, never mind the outrageous cost of living there and being an arts person, I wouldn't want to be there now with the strike. I don't think I'd be affected as a stand-up comedian, but the opportunities would be way less with the industry shut down.

I learned a lot about US policy and opinion from reading Noam Chomsky decades ago.\nThere is no 'perfect' country, but some are definitely worse than others. Perfection is a fantasy that varies from person to person. We have room for improvement in Canada.

Originally from a border town, NOPE! Your allowed open carry guns while drinking....never a good idea. The gun violence is a big one. We do have a huge hunting and fishing culture and even though some form of violence maybe on the rise in Canada...I still don't lock my door often unless going for an extended diner / movie type night and we have the kids with us ( both teens ), encountering guns on the street is rare here still, your more likely to encounter knives. My wife carries a pocket knife in her purse it's just handy for all types of things when your out. She' grew up hunting and fishing for her it's a tool not a weapon. And yes the extremes ARE BATSHIT CRAZY!!! Terrifying, not saying we're perfect but seriously, my wife had fond memories of camping stateside with her grandparents , she won't visit or crossborder shop too violent and too extreme to take the chance.

Been to the states many times and never really worried about my safety. My wife however has heard so much about the shootings that she is afraid to visit. When we travel abroad it's Europe or the Caribbean. I think because we here in Canada see so much of the gun violence in the states on the news we think its everywhere, skewing our perception maybe.

I'm a surgeon in Canada, and even though there are more jobs and I could make potentially twice as much in the usa I would never move there. I would never be able to refuse someone surgery or bankrupt them because they had no insurance. I also don't like the 'cover your ass' style of medicine that most doctors in the USA have to practice because of how often lawsuits happen.

Never going to happen. I’ll live pretty much anywhere in the world except for USA and North Korea. Tyler you should try living in Canada for a month or two. See how you like it

Sorry Tyler, but given the current social and political environment in the USA I do not want to visit the country and definitely never move there.\n\nThe challenge for me is the realization that Canada was built on community, while I see many (too many) Americans fiercely independent and not seemingly caring about anyone but themselves. \n\nCanada IS NOT PERFECT. We have gang violence, drug issues, racism, homelessness, poverty, inefficient political and bureaucratic system, but in general I feel that people will be more polite and helpful to each other than in the US.

I'm afraid that with the gun craze down there, I would not consider it. Then, there is the lousy healthcare... And just when I think you guys aren't that bad off, I watch an episode of John Oliver's This Week Tonight, and a plethora of new reasons spring up. \n\nRight now in Canada, there is a Conservative Party that is starting to adopt the MAGA philosophy of consorting with white supremacism, fascism, misogyny and racist, and I cannot imagine moving to a place where this stuff is running rife. \n\nTyler, you are a lovely example of a decent American, and in truth, when visiting the States (which I haven't done for years), I met more people like you than like MAGA. However, my tolerance for stupid, hateful people is far lower since Trump was elected, and I swore I would not visit the US again until the WH, Congress and the Senate clean house of the Republican scourge. \n\nBut moving to the US would never be an option for me. I love Canada. I live in one of the most beautiful parts of Canada - Vancouver Island. I was born here and have visited many places in the world, but this is, and will forever be, home!

As a French Canadian im aware of some discrimination about the funding of our community, School dont really get the money for new infrastructure. some of our building becoming more old and not really great to use i still like my place thought and i will never consider to move to the USA. Sorry for the American's that can be hurt by those words but i prefer the safety of my family and my community then having some huge racial,hate,gun,violence going in the US.\n\nYes Canada as flaw but still we can gladly say that we feel way more safe and more secure about our bills than anybody in the US. i got some medical condition that would totally have bankrupt my family and myself for decades if i was born in the USA.\n\nIf some American family or some couples that want a great life come to Canada we will gladly accept you as you are :) if you met some jerk in Canada im sorry for that.\n\nSo Tyler would you consider moving to Canada ? =D

I feel so strongly about family safety, we stopped even visiting the US in the 80’s. If forced to leave Canada, I would live anywhere but the US. Canada is where I feel safe and I never once had to worry if I sent my kids to school, would I ever see them again.

Almost all of those Americans who say that never do. They know a good thing when they have it. The US population is 8.5x that of Canada, but nearly 13x the GDP. (Tyler, almost anything you can find to see/do in Canada, you can see/do in the US. There are many things in the US that you can't see/do in Canada.)

For good health you need fresh air, good quality food and water which are available in Canada. In India air is polluted, food is adulterated, water quality not good. This is the reason you find people so healthy in Canada and so weak in India. Water and electricity supply is not reliable in India, in Canada it never goes off except when any major climate change.

Listen... I'm all for helping out fellow human beings but it seems this person was blocking her way which you can see, and she explains that this isn't the first time he's done that! The fact he spoke to her in Indian just shows he is not culturally appropriated to our language or even laws for that matter! Never mind the fact he has packed up and moved his kids and wife assuming! We as long term citizens of our country need to tell our governments we need to focus on our own issues and not just let all these people in! Plus I looked up how much it was to study in India and let me say - it's a whole lot cheaper than it is in Canada, USA or Brittain as far as I'm concerned THEY are receiving money from outside sources to Spy and send info to others covertly! And I can smell a rat! Those people worship !multiple gods and are evil! They are not from Christian communities they are devil worshippers! They laugh and in their language talk to other Indians who love with us and call their big tech company's they work for! Spys! All of em!

I don't understand where prospective migrants get their information if they somehow believe that racism and homelessness do not exist in Canada. Manage your expectations, do your own independant research, seek reliable and varied sources of information. Canada is far from perfect, true. But as a Canadian, I would never ever rely on any country to educate me on what I need to know before I decide to immigrate there. Being disappointed by the Canadian healthcare system or by the existence of racism in Canada is like being disappointed by the presence of slums all over Europe and garbage at Everest Base Camp. Educate yourself, and if its too god to be true, it probably is.

The problem with Canada is we export billions every day, month and year take your pock. We export billions to foreign countries like never before and unfortunately live paycheck to paycheck on a monthly basis. We need to mandate a manufacturing move of made in Canada and Canadian only manufacturing.

One of things that I learnt 33 years ago when I moved to USA was not to convert the money because you won’t be able to eat. I sponsored my mother almost 20 years ago and she didn’t enjoy living here because of her life and friends back home. It was very difficult to move here especially when you are in your fifties and especially if you aren’t working. One of the things that aunties are exaggerating is about the cost of the restaurant, I have never eaten in a restaurant that cost $400 for 4 people, even some of the best steak restaurants don’t cost that much. Final thing when they compare the Malls of Canada with India with limited supplies actually the malls here carry sizes that are not even available anywhere in the World. I do respect their views.

Canada is never the same in the past fifty years.People just want to come here for the Money so they can leave for the country they belong.They think Canadian are stupid because of their generosity so they take advantage of the government hand out.Leadership in our country is not,we became Followers of the U.S.systems and no accountability for the conditions we are in.Supporting wars and giveaway funds to nations and ignoring our citizens who need help.Everything you need you have to pay taxes and what is our taxes doing nothing.

I see this done a lot but there's a big difference between correlation and causation. Your Rbc example shows the top people all white, including women I may add. It's very ingenuous to claim racism based purely on who has risen to the top. Would you call the NBA racist because blacks overwhelmingly are represented or did they get there because they were the best? It's really exhausting having to correct leftist talking points based on nothing.\nThis is the problem today, racism is used so much that it's become little more than name calling because people, usually on the left, call anyone they disagree with racist.\nYou dislike illegal immigration? Racist. You can be pro lawful immigration but have the wrong opinion and your a racist.\nHate crimes? These are incredibly rare and are often skewed politically, largely for reasons I just explained but if an indigenous man assaults an Asian lady, it's less likely to be labeled a hate crime as, say a white male doing the exact same.\nNot so common here but in the US, there are numerous examples of blacks assaulting Asians and orthodox jews and the media will cleverly imply it's whites by saying white supremacy is on the rise, then give the stats on hate crimes, most of which were not committed by whites. It's this kind of media manipulation that creates an inaccurate impression.\nNow, for the indigenous, yes, there is systemic racism. We have an entire governmental system treating natives differently with reserves, different taxes, hunting rights etc by definition it's systemically racist although many are a benefit.\nI also agree with your comment on Quebec with it's strong almost nationalist attitudes towards maintaining it's French heritage at the expense of individual rights.\n, please don't label someone or an organization as racist just because a bunch of white people occupy top positions without evidence that racism was the cause when it could just be they were the best candidates. Is it not best to not always assume the absolute worst before coming to a conclusion? It's like our legal system based on a biblical tale of choosing to let a 100 guilty go free than condemn a single innocent man. A founding principle to modern western countries that should apply here.\nBeing racist is a serious and nasty accusation that should be thrown only when it's established. I don't call someone a child killer just because I disagree with their politics and to do so is an a front to genuine victims. \nI'd argue Canada is one of the least racist nations on Earth. Name a country, you think is LESS racist, I'm curious, what would you suggest? I would counter that racism or xenophobia is far more common in non western countries.\nI would suggest countries in Asia, Africa and others with less multicultural populations harbor more racist sentiment towards other races. I'm Japanese and I've been to many countries, and as objectively viewed, Canada is the worst racist, Western supremacist nation. In short the worst aggressive racist country on this planet. I've never wanted to visit again. Actually, it's quite risky to be in Canada as an Asian or a Japanese. Canada is the only country that systematically massacred people of Japanese descent who were inhabiting in Vancouver Island, Canada genocided the Japanese civilians in Vancouver. Needless to say, Canada also genocided millions of Aboriginals who have the same genes as the Japanese. Even the Islamic State would be slightly better than Canada.

Runaway INFLATION and ASSET Bubbles which are the direct results of BoC's mismanagement of monetary policies are the DIRECT THREAT to Canada's Security, Sovereignty, and Independence. \nThe rates must go WAY HIGHER, to fight high inflation from its core, exactly what Paul Volker, Fed/Res chairman did in the US back in the 1980s. \nWe need DEFLATION in this country and not inflation to bring consumer prices down from high real estate prices to food, energy/utilities, and taxes. \n \nAssesst Bubbles which were created by the Bank of Canada must be DEFLATED, if NOT the cost of living will NEVER GO DOWN and it would lead to SERIOUS and DEVASTATING Social, Economic & Political Consequences in Canada for years to come which subsequently would lead to Mass Protests, Riots, Mutiny, Social & Labour Strikes/Unrest, Crimes, Violent Crimes, Organized Crimes, Drugs, Unemployment, Homelessness, Tent cities, Inequality, and Disparity.

Canada can't do better because we are a colony of the US and we are never going to do better than the master. If the US keeps on declining, we are only going to decline farter. Competition is not the main thing in Canada. As long as their natural resources r not polluted, the attractiveness of moving to Canada never ended. Keep talking about US US US……. Every decision is driven by avoiding lawsuits, not proper patient care.\n\nPost Obamacare, US health care is an unmitigated disaster at every level. We’re short on doctors, too. Many quit and students are losing interest—medicine won’t pay enough anymore to justify $500K in loans.\n\nWe could repeal every bit of Obamacare tomorrow and still not be able to fix it. The leviathan grew tentacles that released toxins into every nook and cranny of the system. Now that they have buried themselves in critical layers, it would be impossible to yank them out.\n\nI have a good PCP who is booked 6-8 weeks out. Specialists? Hah. GI, neuro, and derm? Surely, in 2023 has caught a cell phone video, right? Where are the videos? Show me the proof. There is plenty of footage of BLM destroying property and injuring, even murdering innocents. Nor can we claim to have eliminated racism. That takes time; it cannot be done by force.\n\nOur economy went from smokin hot to dumpster fire in a short span of time. Pre election, head hunters were shaking the trees to find job candidates.\n\nOur unemployment is up as are our taxes with the stomping out of the tax cuts. \n\nDespite the endless sloganeering about how the Trump tax cuts only benefited “rich” people, it’s quite the opposite.\n\nHigh earners lost their pet deductions and lower income taxpayers were quite pleasantly surprised when they did their returns. The cuts were targeted to preserve wealth for the middle and lower classes.\n\nI could go on for another 100 pages but you get the idea and I get crabby writing for free.\n\nI will leave you with the caution that it’s best if you doubt and question any data and any stats coming from our government. Those are seldom legit. If the data comes from a study, always look to see who paid for it. And how large the sample size was; how were the participants selected? Well canadian govt is responsible for all this mess, politics bringing people with no proper background check. The reason is very simple there is more crime more unrest this i have never seen in Canada. Canadian govt should do something. Why not we bring more educated professionals, scientists, doctors, engineers, skilled people.\nThanks to CBC to come out with gacts but there is so much nonsense happening need to come out in the public, in the disguise of students so many criminals are coming who are danger to our society our children families.

I’m 47 years old, black (Caribbean descent) and have lived in Canada my whole life. I’ve lived in Montreal, Toronto and Calgary and visited all over the country. Have never experienced any racism of any kind. Toronto and Montreal in particular are incredibly diverse. Not sure how you would see any overt racism in those places. I don’t trust this lady’s story at all. Sounds like she’s making it up as she goes along tbh. If her brother’s boss fired him and called him the N-word that’s an easy lawsuit to win… and it’s difficult to believe that ANY boss would be THAT stupid. \n\nThere are ignorant people everywhere without a doubt… but please don’t believe this B.S. about white people hating anyone who isn’t white. I never had that issue of racism in Canada although alberta is mostly white populated since it’s really cold but every else is fine by me except you have a problem of misgendering etc then that issue is everywhere
