You two are good people and awesome parents. I can’t say I relate to most of your experience just because I’m not like you, and I can’t say I agree with you in every way again because we are so different, but WOW I admire & respect you both for making a potentially difficult decision with strength & cooperation between yourselves so that you can give your family the best life possible :) I’m proud of you and I know that God Allah will bless you and your family in all ways moving forward. You are awesome!!!!

I am right there with you guys but not for the reason you guys are leaving I hate the fighting. No matter who they are I hate seeing people that are innocent being hurt... Our problem here in America is Donald Trump! I am so fed up with that man and if he wins again I'm definitely moving to a different country but the same reasons you guys are freedom... Because if he gets back in office we will no longer be free unfortunately I have grandchildren and children and I don't know what to do about that, makes my heart so sad that I don't know what to do about them and I can't do anything for them but I try to keep my options opening hope and pray that we don't get him in office again.... May God be with you always finding your place to land is going to be fun, your family is beautiful your girls and your son to serve be free to practice your religion just as much as you are! But please let us take the adventure with you I can't wait to see where you land?

I was in China 21 times over a 15 year period, The way that country has improved over a decade and a half is absolutely phenomenal. And the difference is only getting more pronounced.

I moved from Colorado to Wyoming.\nSeems like a different country here.

The definition of a canadain is an american without a gun and public health care... otherwise it is hard to tell the difference.... Canada has almost 9 months of winter and 3 months of bad skating... The province of Quebec which is still part of canada (don't tell them that) has the language police to be as anti-american and any democratic as possible, they only tolerate english if it is in US$ and tax other taxes with the most expensive bloated government of any state north of Mexico. The cartels are envious... all things purchased are imported (except animals and greenhouse tomatoes)are american with the exchange rate of almost 33%... If you are a doctor or nurse or medical specialist trained in western medicine like Europe, Australia, etc. You almost have to start over.... SAD. Like América, big cars/trucks are king, public transit is not a thing... yeh there are some buses in a few major cities, more of an after thought... The only positive thing about coming from another country climate is you have something to compare with.... Personally i was born here so where do i go... A few friends have travelled to the US but have not returned... its warmer in Texas i guess... Canadians are suspicious of Asians because they come with money and buy up property esp in Vancouver/Toronto hence the concern... As for you making friends, you seem to be very Americanized, speak English well and not so traditional except for being married... you would make a lot of people comfortable among traditional Canadians... just my after thoughts...

Why use the term 'whites' why not 'native' or even 'indigenous'. That would cover the humans whose home it has been for millenia. All humans are from one family. There is no race, only beliefs and values differ. The people upholding the values of Britain should have the say in their own land. Others should go to nations with compatible beliefs.

Sometimes going to another place like Canada, US, etc.. makes you appreciate what you left.. even if you go back, nothing lost because you gained a new awareness of yourself of your likes and dislikes. Also, you got to experience a different culture and way of living... which you realized is not for you. Just think of it as a learning experience. You've just became a more grounded person because of this.

In other words, this guys' country doesn't want to help palestinians, not even if they are dying by the thousands. NO Muslim country wants to help the Palestinians in the way they need, they just want to use the Palestinians to remove the only country with different religion from the area.
2023-12-25 0
I am sorry they are completely different with different beliefs to us they should go
2023-12-24 0
I am an Indian and this is insane. I keep seeing people from different parts of the world talking $hit about the US, muzlims hating Americans. If that's the case, then why are you people dying to go there???‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️\n\nDear Americans, you have every right to protect your borders. Better secure them, so that another 9/11 shouldn't occur. We Indians are suffering from illegal migration from Bangladesh & Myanmar, and these migrants are responsible for all r@pes and harassment incidents all over our country. They dont love our countries. They just want to make us the same mess they were in their homeland.???

That's why God separated us all and gave us different languages. Nothing but problems. Will happen Just ask Paris and Germany.

I agree 100% for PALESTINE citizens NOT Hamas. There is a difference and most western (USA) people can’t seem to differentiate between the two.
2023-12-23 1
the real truth is . .he and no one else wants Palestinians..he just said it differently.

As a born Canadian, your timing is terrible. Canada has become an expensive shithole with services ready to break and the dollar tanking under Gov't mismanagement. There is a world of difference between pre-2015 Canada and today's land of the north.

We don’t have room here. People considering coming here should choose a different country to immigrate to.\n\nIt’s bad for people born here who have nowhere to go.\n\nAt least immigrants and migrants have a country they can return to

Topic for discussion with no opinion\n\nGaza refugees : they need to stay in their own land, they have the right to stay there and not encourage them to leave. \n\nAfghans/Syrian/Libyan etc:\nEurope/Asia/US needs to support these by granting asylum. \n\n\nWhat's the difference between Gaza and Afghanistan?

The Arab world is not a monolith. There are different cultures within the Arab world. If Germany invaded Denmark, and then said to Europe, take the danish into other European countries
2023-12-22 0
Many people flew from arab countries after islam rise to middle east and asia.\nBut only difference is that these people are more concerned about the land than the life.
2023-12-22 0
Let’s just put it in a different perspective. The Arab world does not have the BALLS to hit Israel. They need their master’s permission which is the WEST ofcourse

I was expecting a whole different voice tbh?

Addul Muhid is quite typical of the more educated Muslims. He speaks well in public, speaks differently in Arabic, while all the time just biting his lips until they become around 13% of the population than all hell breaks loose. Around 50% of the UK Muslims want Sharia law but imagine what the real statistic is when they have the population of Muslims to back them up. It is no Secret they want another caliphate in the UK and most likely, they will get it.

Dear 5th estate, I am Ubash, a citizen of New Zealand, a primary school teacher. This documentary is true when it comes to North India, would you be able to do a similar study with South India, you will see a whole different approach, South Indian students hardly fall for these actually.... may be after a case study, you will see the difference between North and South India.

Forced or encouraged to leave is different from ALLOWED TO LEAVE
2023-12-22 0
People were born in different places around the world the USA doesn't need anymore ppl we can't take care of it everyone even ourselves I live on disability Idw my money I worked for interrupted to feed these ppl
2023-12-22 0
I am certain she wasn’t expecting that answer, that one I also didn’t expect myself but I am 100% with him. No person wants to leave their country unless they are forced to or just want a different experience elsewhere but all people want to live in their country its just the politicians always chasing their citizens away.

Is someone is well settled in his origin country. He or she shouldn’t migrate other countries. Even if we move from town To the other town in the same country, life gets very upset. Western countries life very different then south Asian countries. Can not compare. however our country tries have a lot issues like poverty, mismanagement, huge corruption pollution etc. also in our countries people are very lazy partuct house hold lazy. In western countries every body has to work hard. Sister I bet you are not use to like that.
2023-12-21 0
They don’t care about kids and woman while big guys settle their differences.
2023-12-21 0
Too multicultural for my liking. No one feels connected. Everyone is way too different and has completely different lifes. Way too much immigration feels like another country. Happy i left

International law states that all are supposed to admit refugees if for life threatening/ severe persecution reasons - this is so .\nShame on the Neighbours of these suffering peoples.\nIf they were wealthy you’d sing a different song.

During the blitz, the English sent all of their children from London to safety in the country. This is one of the fundamental differences between the Anglo and the Arab.
2023-12-21 0
There were about 750k Palestinian refugees after the war in 1948, but the following year the neighboring Arab countries expelled as many Jews from their countries as some kind of revenge. The difference was that the Jews were assimilated by Israel, the United States and Canada, among others, while the Palestinians remained stateless. It cannot be a coincidence that for over 70 years they have failed to assimilate these refugees. It is hard to see it in any other way than the Arab neighbors see it as part of the struggle to keep these people in camps and increase hopelessness and anger.

Palistinians are refugees they came from different muslim countries KNOW YOUR HISTORY
2023-12-21 0
Yeah right what he’s really saying is … we dgaf they ain’t coming here. Anyone who thinks it means any different is slow. They don’t want them, but now that it’s turned political he has to package it differently, but in essence what he really said was .. not my problem.
2023-12-21 0
He is very correct. It's like you have your home and someone pushes you out because they want to occupy your territory. It's wrong in the United States that would not happen. Palestinians would rather shed their blood on their homeland then have to leave. They are built a different. Such a great example for humanity.
2023-12-20 0
It is the same case with every single country. Trust me. Nothing different.

Canada is owned by thirteen wealthy families, they are greedy and self serving. If you come to Canada and see ten different grocery stores - they are all owned by three people/families. Everyone works together to keep the wages low and depressive. They also are the lobbyists for government officials who regardless of party - seek to find wealth from other countries when their term ends.

Guadalcanal features tells me a different story that he doesn’t want to share
2023-12-20 0
Of course, the Palestinians don't want to leave Gaza. it's Paradise. Half a dozen different peoples consider Palestine their ancestral homeland. Things don't work out there's a little thing called a diaspora where they travel to other places in the world and set up quite remarkable lives. Millions of Muslims live in the US Canada Britain Europe and none of them are thinking boy the minute this little dust-up in Gaza is over we're setting up shop with the remnants of Hamas.

Kuwait took in refugees and they tried to destabilise Kuwait. Same happened to King of Jordan. 60% of them in Sweden are now convicts Why would Saudis think different ?

All of those issues are the same in any OCDE country. \n\nHousing market is shit in Europe too, even worse I would say, but at least they have decent public transports, so you can live outside a city and still go to your work fast. That’s the only real advantage. (Okay maybe construction quality and norms also)\n\nFrom experience, aka a French software engineer now living in Quebec, cost of life is waaaaaaay cheaper here than in Europe. I just don’t buy shitty stuff I don’t need, and eat responsibly. \n\nSure Canada have a lot of issue. Probably due to the current liberal government and the usamerican capitalism, healthcare is in shambles (as any other healthcare system in OCDE), public transport is non existant, etc. \nWherever you go, at some different levels, theses are issues you find in any developed countries because this is just how we made our society and how it’s deteriorating because our model is just bad overall. \n\nI do have gripes with Quebec stuff, which I think it’s one of the worst province in the country, but as far as I’m concerned, as well as most of my immigrant friends, this is still a prime country to immigrate to. \n\nAlso, the Canadians are really welcoming, progressive, kind. (In general, not all of them, don’t get me wrong)\nOne of the best people I’ve encountered and this is very important when you immigrate somewhere.

If a nation wouldn't take Ukrainian woman and children refugees and said something like this, I think the response would have been different.
2023-12-19 0
Same shit in Australia. Nothing really different when all that tax money flies away and wasted into doing nothing for decades.
2023-12-19 0
palestinians has all the right to live in their own country with peace if they dont allow hamas terorist in their community and put legitimate democratic goverment to govern them. im sure aid from different country did not go to waste.

You nailed it Sonia, me and my family of as been living here for about 17 years and yes we have been through it all, so I could actually feel the clock turning as you spoke. I would like to add one thing though which you are right about that, if you are planning to come and start now, it definitely is not the time to come, 17 years ago was a different time and I can also tell you that we feel the pain yet even now to make ends meet. Honestly, life was good until a few years ago but now the value is declining to a great extent, again as a disclaimer this is my personal experience and would probably apply differently to different individuals. In short, as you said, if you are doing well somewhere else, don't hit the axe on your own feet by coming here.
2023-12-19 0
I wish we had everyone had this attitude. Fight with people for safety and security within one's land, BUT when you are African , South American or Asian things are different.????
2023-12-19 0
The Arab Nations shirking their responsibility again failing the Palestinians. If they were truly serious about looking out for the Palestinians they would form an alliance of 20+ countries, put forward a meaningful strategy for peace and a Palestinian State and if rejected, threaten to overwhelm Israel militarily. Despite their differences, the one thing that most Arab leaderships can agree on is their hatred of Israel.

You never mention Montreal. I would have appreciated to compare the markets. Montreal is bigger than Vancouver. As far as making friends, your experience. seems limited to Toronto. As a Quebecquer who worked often in toronto,I could never create friendships. Again, very different in Montreal.
