As a woman who once wore it, it isn’t just a garment. It is not a bloody hoodie. It makes you second class simply by virtue of wearing it. It ghettoises those women. They will find it harder to integrate even WITHIN their own community, ie with other more liberal Muslims. They’ll only hang out with each other, and their beliefs become more fundamentalist. I grew up in BRAMALEA, now incorporated with Brampton. BRAMALEA was an idyllic community made up primarily of Brits, European, and African-Canadians. Then Justin’s Dad (Pierre) opened the floodgates of immigration in the ‘70’s to ensure his re-election while transforming Canada into a Socialist Society (Socialized “Free” Health Care paid for by mammoth taxes on the middle class) while promoting “Multiculturalism” as the new Canadian Utopia. In his later years, while close to death, Pierre declared that “Multiculturalism DOESN’T WORK!” And, guess what? Neither does “Free” Healthcare!” As each culture swelled, they felt as though they didn’t need to assimilate. When I return to Canada/Brampton to visit family, I’m disgusted! The Indian residents (who Now comprise about 90% of BRAMLADESH’s population) do NOT look after their housing/property. The older/original neighborhoods where I grew up (well-cared for homes with manicured lawns, lush green-belts with pathways connecting neighborhoods and parks) now borders on slum-like conditions. It’s sad and downright depressing when I visit. All of my high school friends have fled the dilapidated area, and no wonder! Canada’s lax immigration laws, failed “Multiculturalism” and Socialist welfare system have all destroyed Canadian culture AND their middle class (strangled by immense taxation). I was fortunate to have grown up in the BRAMALEA of old, but I am so blessed to have escaped when I did! ??

the people in the American continent and other western countries in Europe which are predominately Christians and liberals are now faced with a difficult challenge; since the free western world allowed the Muslim immigrants from the Muslims and other Arab countries to take refuge in their own countries, now they are engaged in a constant battle against their respective contrasting values, religious principles, and cultural practices....the big question now is which thoughts and culture will prevail? because, unlike the conflict on slavery centuries hence, the issue and concern then was merely black or white people or racial (about color of the skin).....now it is more relatively sensitive, complex and extremely serious......my issue thus, is how can a liberal, freedom loving and religious tolerant western society deal with an intolerant, discriminating, extremely arrogant and most often violent Muslim believers living in their own communities.......Clearly Europe and America is being Muslimized..my worry is that Europeans do not see the semblance between Muslim with communism...both seek to overthrow the prevailing order to fit theirs.

If Islam forces women to wear niqab then Christianity forces nuns to wear headscarf. Then Hinduism forces Hindu women to wear sindoor and bindia over the head. If this is not a hypocrisy of the West then same should be applied to all these communities.

I used to live in Brampton and this is the city where I first landed. No hatred for the city but people have ruined it. I'm a brown guy myself so I can't be racist against my own people and tbh, some of the best people I know in Canada are Sikhs but even they accept the fact that there is a large number of bad apples in their community. Sikhs have played a major part in both positive and negative way, to make and break this city.\n\nInsurance scams in Brampton cost their citizens to pay one of the highest premiums in the country. Generally, drivers in Brampton have no fuckin' idea how to drive because the licences were literally bought. \n\nA large number of people of our brown community always hell bent on abusing the system, wherever they go. We bring the same back home mindset here in Canada rather follow the system. \n\nThe only thing mostly brown community is focused on is how to make money and that's all. Don't try to learn the language, don't like to mix with people, don't care about the laws or anything. They only like to have nice big houses, show off their leased fancy cars and that's all.\n\nI left this city for good and don't regret my decision at all when I see numerous videos about the bad situation in Brampton. I'd love to move back to Ontario but cannot live in this city anymore. One thing really pissed me off when I was there that most people expect every brown person to speak Punjabi and when I used to tell them that I don't speak or understand Punjabi, you could see the surprized looks on their face.

I don't know what Sharia Law/ Islam is all about to hate it that much. We have Muslims in our country. At least around 20% of the population. Maybe more than Australia... but there are as many different interpretation of Islam and Sharia Law, as the Bible and Christian denominations. What you probably have is the Radical Extremist type.... The type that doesn't accept differences in culture and the population they are in. They are the minority who wants to have the majority rule... We also have problems with Radical Islam and majority of the Muslim population in my country does not accept them that much. There are certainly discrimination against Muslim, but not as much as most western countries does. My advise is to not to generalize Muslims as one type of people. There are people in that community that does not believe in extremist interpretation of the law. Second, deport or watch radical extremist as they are dangerous to any multicultural society, like the white supremacist and Neo- Nazis in the US. Some of them are citizens. Deporting your own citizen to a different country is far-fetched. Third, accept them as part of a sub- culture, having their own ways within their group, yet under the laws of the nation they are living. The way they dress, polygamy, and women's rights are just some issues that Westerners usually cringe about. But there are other religions who practice these as well. Lastly, stop hating each other because your hate will empower extremism. \nReligion is either you are born with it until you are old/ mature enough to choose or an independent choice.

The problem with the Punjab community in Canada is their old men and women that crowd the parks for little kids. They sit there all day long with their scary beards, scaring the kids away. I wish Sikhs would learn to speak English. That would allow them to integrate better into Canadian society. Right now, the Sikh community is very isolated and fundamentalist. There is also a lot of welfare abuse and crime in the Sikh community.

Okay responding to the negative comments about this video. South Asians are not the only community in the west, if you are not going to complain about Chinatowns or ghettos; please show us the same respect. Just wanted to say, I’m a white Christian, and a Brampton resident and a high school teacher in here and I love the diversity of culture that Punjabis bring to the community. I’ve worshipped in Gurdwaras with friends. It’s great. \n\nTo me, this is a testament to what Canada and Brampton has to offer the world. All are welcome!

Sick of hearing stories like that, I understand the fact that she doesn't represent any Canadian, ( including herself since she was drunk and said sorry later) but still annoying. My concern is the other Canadians, Individual haters always exist but stop those individuals up to other Canadians. Easy to tag muslims as *terrorist or *isis or easy to tag white people as *racist or *hater. As a community we should be able to stop those behaviors even before it starts , then we can be a strong community and live in a harmony .

I will use NO local business that employs illegals, nor online shop if I suspect they do. Employers showing up with illegal workers will be told why I am sending them packing. I will not even smile at an illegal, nor make them welcome in my community. I am sick of this and I am going to do what I can right where I am at. I suggest you do the same.

Hey is it true that community living in Brampton has brought bad name upon all Indians in Canada? My co worker said Brampton had the highest crime rate in ontario, highest insurance rate due to scams and frauds in the desi community.

In 2017 there were 32000 illegal new immigrants to canada not 20000. Thats huge the size a medium sized community. I feel horrible for this family. But i also understand the need for a screening process amd the need to do thing right.

From what I heard coming from other source .Also when I see them at food banks taking home more than $150.00 in groceries from just 1 food bank they goto 9 amonth .their cell phones are top of the line .Clothes and shoes brand name only .Gold jewllery ladys purses $300.00 and up .And they all have cars from 40 thousand and up . One place i never see them is value village .How do they do iit ?I had 2 kids and on welfare a few years back and I had a hard time trying to get some things that we badly needed and could not afford and things were a lot cheaper .The most I ever spent at no frills been on assistance was $75.00 for the whole month .6 years ago and no cell phone gold. or cars .So how these people do it ?oh and by the way I go ti no frills once a week .Those same refugees are there every thursday spending $500.00. on goceries and none of them work .Some time neighbours talk and thats how things are know .Our government is a big lier .We the tax payers are paying for all of these Once a refugee of this country one canot be sent back or deported so if this refugee never finds a job you the tax payer and I will pay for his or her assistance and maybe for a life time .like in the case of gypsies refugees they are all on assistance go to all the food banks rob the community of their belongins their cars items from stores donations in front of churches and stores they dress the best also spend hundreds of dollars on food they shop for clothes at the mall and we the tax payer brake our backs 6 days a week 10 hours a day like me and I cant afford even half of what these people can .So even if they become criminals we have to support them .Some refugee law and rights should be changed to ensure that tax payers are not been taking advantage of .

The reason they are profiled isn't because of their skin color, it's because they are known, as a culture, to be Thieves who have been told they're entitled. that doesn't mean I believe that it's right, I just understand why people are leery of a culture that feels that it's okay for them to steal and take whatever they want. Nor do I believe all people with that skin color are part of that culture.

Wouldnt it be of more benefit to the world as a whole to help them in their HOME countries. Support them to rebuild and rid thier midst of radicals. Have them build their own houses if we pay for materials, mabey train them that its not a right of passage to saw off heads and that science trumps religion.. mabey train them to be plumbers and concrete workers so they can have and mantain communities and infrastructure??? But-no!!, its better to let thier countries be destroyed and bring them to ours....right?

The Canadian president is a moron he tries to throw this out for publicity it backfires because he doesn't necessarily live in the poverty and the desperation at Immigrant families living so he doesn't know that when they hear him say something it's going to spread like wildfire and communities are going to shift and things are going to change and then he goes on the defensive sending some a****** to Los Angeles to tell everybody their hopes are false inshort that's all he said at least in this documentary he probably just wanted high-skilled immigrant labor for cheap not blue collar workers and either way Canada belongs and will always belong to indigenous people no matter how many people speak French in that cold-ass funky place from Cali with love we are all citizens of Earth can't wait till this old mentality goes away under the truth

Canada tilts back and forth between Liberal and Conservative governments. Like it does in the United States. Refugees from war zones are processed very quickly and efficiently. But, community sponsorship is a big factor in becoming approved. Generally these community organization sponsors are churches or NGOs.
