Nothing is the way it was years ago ,Today our society has changed , Certain things that were accepted years ago are no longer accepted in todays society .Its new Governments and new Generations of people that think differently than the ones in the past .Things are different ,Besides that, you cant blame people of today for things that happened in the past by people the generations of today didnt even know. That isnt in any way even fathomable. But if there is hate floating around Canada for some ,maybe the hate isnt for the race of the people, but for the individual and their behavior towards others. When someone is angry at someone else for whatever reason and they know nothing about that person ,BUT,they feel they need some form of revenge They call names in anger of what little they see or do know about that person ,Usually its just appearance ,race, nationality. If they didnt , they wouldnt use it at all and eventually it would be forgotten if the new generations coming up dont ever hear it being used.

Well, I guess that most families from Asian counties live together and share space so they will be able to afford homes. I guess that we should educate Canadians that they should not expect to be able to afford rent or owning a home unless you stay with your family and all live together. See, problem solved. Change your expectations and way of life to accommodate a government that prefers to have expansion and growth at all costs instead of fixing our current problems. You need 9 people living in a 3 br house all working for minimum wage in order to afford it.. and that seems to be the jobs that are available? If you are educated and have skills I'm not sure that those jobs are out there? Or they are for a while, then gas prices go down and the corporations fire everyone and then things change and then they complain that they can't find anyone while paying less than they did before they fired everyone... But remember, corporations create jobs so we shouldn't tax them.

NOT against immigration, but it has to be done very carefully. Nothing in too large of amounts is ever a good thing, and I feel that aiming for a numerical goal is not the way to go, especially when you have to take shortcuts to get there like allowing anybody in.

Who will stop this unfettered invasion by cultures that have no respect for our norms, mores, & way of life?! I live in a city neighbourhood that is immigrant central & can say confidently from immediate & personal experience that the majority here are not fleeing anything, popping from country to country to grab money & send it back home then, when they have enough, they retire back to their homeland. Most have no respect for private property nor for any of the norms of a polite society, they don't even wish to learn our language sufficiently to understand & respond. The students prefer Canada as it is the easiest way to get PR status. And there is no strong vetting system.These are agents’ main selling points. I have seen students struggling for qualified jobs after the course, most of them taking labour jobs. Probably, most of them wouldn’t have any sort of such work in India, here working as a helper for a mason, working as a delivery boy etc.

If you have zilch wherever you are, move to Canada. Else don’t. Simple. Everything in this video applies to refugees who land up with little or no documentation of past experience and qualifications. My friends dad once promised an ability to get PR for me. He was asking for CAD $20K. He owns a pizza place in rural Alberta. It is easy to connect the dots but temporary residents bring a lot of money into Canada so Canada looks the other way at exploitation happening here.

Colleges like Sheridan College and scores of private colleges with partnerships with northern colleges are the cause of this mess. Canadian education quality has gone down the drain. Most of these problems are not just Canadian problems but are immigrant problems and some are just developed nations problems , most people will face them in every country they go to!! The uk, us, Australia mention others are all expensive with just a 0.4 difference! Getting a Canadian passport and moving to another country which is not your native country will solve nothing and it’s not easy to move to a new country unless you have someone to sponsor you!! A Canadian passport will not allow you to work in the US or UK you will need sponsorship for a visa _ all it offers is a free visit visa for about 6 months I guess but not allowed to work! Work visas are complicated and depend more on skills than passport you hold! As a US citizen I can’t work in Canada visa free I can only visit_ the same with Canadians coming to the US or the UK ! \nFor the weather I feel you! We’re lucky In the US cos every type of weather you want you can get it without sacrificing living in a big city But other problems are quite similar everywhere! You have to walk around them and create ways to enjoy the beauty your country has to offer! Running away from from a country your a citizen of cos of loneliness or boredom is not a solution especially when you moving to a country your not even a resident of! Cos establishing residence is never easy unless you have a community there already! Otherwise it will be worse than where your running from!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. However, the issues you have faced in Australia will haunt you in some way in Canada too. I am a Canadian PR and just love Canada. The people are very nice, landscape is amazing, and it is cheaper than Australia. But it is just as hard in Canada to find a good job as it is in Australia. I am a Petroleum Engineer with over 10 years of experience working in a fortune 500 company, yet I cannot even get an interview for a related job in Canada. I also realized that lots of immigrants who came here through express entry and have years of experience work overseas despite staying in Canada for years due to the lack of opportunities. Africans being forced into slavery by their own people is greedy and heartbreaking and that cruelty is exactly what we have today. In Africa many blacks had to suffer through famine and had to eat insects, there have been many cases of genocide, slave trade and HIV. After the Republicans died freeing the slaves, blacks were afforded a whole new life. It hasn't been easy but for blacks, life before BLM was encouraging blacks to attend college and get great jobs and the people in these companies accepted and even made friends with them. These motivated blacks were a minority though and the reality is that many backs wasted their life wanting to be rap stars and gangsters...the latter has increased this stupidity a hundred fold since BLM. Stop talking about blacks, how you perceive they are being treated, slavery, reparations and what ever else you have up your sleeve and start focusing on the very youth who will be on this planet when we are are old and helpless..

While Canada does have issues (like any other country in the world) What you outline highlights the privileged life you are living. You are correct in pointing out that the health care system is flawed, it is not perfect by all means but AT LEAST YOU ARE GETTING HEALTH CARE. Take the stats for example (I had the privilege of going to the hospital in Texas) My bill came to 3000 for a twisted ankle. They charged me over 500 dollars just for walking into the hospital. I'm not knocking that stats, but if you do not have money, you're fucked for health care. Instead of waiting 8 hours to see a doctor, you're now on Web MD trying to diagnose yourself. You are bitching about high taxes, how do you think Schools, Police and fire services, Emergency service hospitals etc etc etc get paid? through wishes and hope? You are again welcome to go anywhere else and enjoy whatever bs they have going they might have low taxes in other parts of the world but your going to have to pay for certain services you are taking for granted here. As Cost of living, if you live in Toronto or BC yes the cost of living is high, but at the same time, the average household income is high as well. I'm sorry minimum wage in most of Canada is roughly 15 dollars an hour, and the average incoming for most provinces is over 100k. I'm not sure what else to say on that subject :D As for things to do, seriously, stop living under a rock. Please go and travel Canada, to name a few things you can travel to Niagara, Go to Banff, Visit hot springs or enjoy any of our national parks. Not to mention all the multicultural festivals that take place. I guess what I'm trying to say here is, Canada is flawed and has its issues. However, It's a beautiful country and is a gem of a place to put roots down. I'm sorry you guys didn't feel that way.

I tried the CRS score simulator, and I cannot believe my score is way below the latest cutoff. I'm 35 years old with PhD degree, already maximized the IELTS score. The only thing that can still bump up my score is if I can get a job offer in Canada, but even with that the score is still just a bit below the cut off. Is it really difficult to pass the cut off? does this mean I'd have 0 chance of getting the ITA?

Canada is racist country I came here when I was 10 years old am 52 years old never got a credit card more than $300 dollars had six children from the reach grade 9 the teachers made my kids life a living night mare in every way they made a stumbling block with everything the bank as account in my name that some else used they other people got credit in my name and I cant get credit for myself the downgradel my licence that I have prove that It did not expire in every way the oppress me and my children but I get great comfort knowing that God will judge them for all there wrong doing.

I remember a time when the cost of living in Canada was much more affordable. I also remember a time when we didn't wait so long to get our free healthcare. The healthcare issue started many years ago when some old Conservative dude was in charge and he decided the best way for us to save money was to take it out of the healthcare funds. And then everything went ?with our healthcare. The cost of living was always high but it was balanced with our incomes. But it just absolutely ridiculous since Covid! I have to take on part time work on top of my full-time job now just to afford my increased cost of living!!

Be carefull what you wish for Girls becasue Canada like New Zeland, Eu Nordic states seem to be some of the better countries compared to say to the USA (its just over the border by the way, if you have plenty of money!) Yes the USA where if you have enough cash then you can get virtualy instant healthcare but remember within a profit driven system enough is never enough and most people will find their cover they try to use isnt the cover they were paying for! Here in the UK our Nhs was reliable & you were seen very quickly, until they started privatising then costs and times started to increase at 1 - 2 hours now they are 12 - 15 hours or even never if you end up dead sitting in the back of a Ambulance waiting!!! so the private sector increasing efficiency is a myth perpetuated by greedy money obsessed people....

You ladies sound so very, very ungrateful. You're speaking as if in Nigeria you get any better healthcare, standard of living etc. Go back to Nigeria and stay there. Most of the western countries are fashioned same way. I have similar difficulty on moving to UK few years ago, but now singing a different song. No one get rich by working 9 to 5, the system is designed to keep majority in the middle class, it depends on how you structure your life, in order to break that cycle. Taxes keep society running, it keeps public institutions working. Life is not easy, you get what you create.

This video for privileged people, not people struggling to survive. In a country like Nigeria, a PhD holder is applying for trucking driving job and secondary teaching job. They would be grateful to move to Canada for a befitting job and will be excited to pay tax. Many with good educational background don't even have any job at all. At least Canadian government takes taxes and provide good infrastructure. In Nigeria, the government takes your tax and nothing works, no jobs, no security, no healthcare, no good roads or infrastructure. It's difficult to travel inter state without being kidnapped. Your family sells all your properties and pay the ransom but still be killed. You can even be gunned down in your house or on the street just for next to nothing. All my relatives in Canada are happy with their families and are begging me to come. Even people with good jobs are moving to Canada. They're not doing it for themselves for the future of their children, for peace of mind, security and to escape poverty. \n\nIf you're in doubt please move back to Nigeria then you will know Canada is heaven. Many have resorted to prostitution and crime because they believe they don't have any other way to survive. I want to come to Canada not to get rich but to get a decent job and live a meaningful life with my family. Canada's racial teaching with CRT (Critical Race Theory) actually makes people feel more and more divided. Whizqueen and Tinuola talk about how they didn't feel black ? till they moved to Canada, they didn't feel isolated till they moved to Canada. Back home everyone felt the same, but if people in Canada say that there is no such thing as colour, or they are colour blind, they get accused of being racist. \nHere in the UK most things are as bad as Canada, if not worse, in terms of the other things that Whizqueen and Tinuola talk about: we have gloomy weather and it is wet and cold much of the year, we have high taxes, many people are working all they can and are still relying on charities called food banks just to be able to pay all their other bills. \nBut our government is still not as bad as the way Trudeau has been governing Canada recently. Government by presidential decree is not democracy, it is a dictatorship. When people can't even protest against the dictatorship of Trudeau without being slandered and called horrible names and then punishing people by not only freezing and stealing the protesters' money, they even went after the bank accounts of people who had helped the protesters. That is what dictatorships are like, not democracy.

Your video is spot on accurate on issues immigrants face. Families come for a better way of life but can expect high expenses for everything including cost of social after school activities. Expect several years of getting settled before you can expect a decent quality of life. And you need at least 2 working persons in the family to cover bills adequately

I do have to say if you're actually worried about the cold as a factor in moving to Canada it is way less than you think. In Southern Ontario it gets to be -40C about 3-4 times a winter, and in the summer it gets to 40C 3-4 times a summer, so we have pretty diverse weather, what you should worry about is how many different kinds of clothes you'll need to buy to actually go through the four seasons.\n\nJust a quick note on Quebéc, even if you did learn french you will most likely be yelled at in french as they are for the most part very protective of french Canada and see themselves as a different country, they don't like other people very much, and the french is different to french french. Cool place to visit but not so much to live in.

There's no reason why you can't save money in Canada maybe you should read the book The Wealthy Barber and you should learn more about money. I am near retirement and it is such a treat not to have to worry about paying for anything and having a guaranteed income when I re— . What you doing have is your private insurance company denying you coverage and you have to refer to them every time when you need a particular blood test done. I can have my patients have MRIs or CT scans within 2 days if they need is there a giant . What you need is Doctor Patient Advocates. Excellent video! Agree! I am Canadian born but some of these points I can even relate to, especially how hard they make it to accumulate wealth. We are taxed to death - our income is taxed and then we are taxed again when we buy goods. It seems like they do everything they can to prevent wealth building. The retirement saving plan….is even a rip off when you consider you give your money to the government to get a reduced value years later after inflation…..almost feels like I’m a slave and the kings and queens have just put on suit and ties. I think higher officials in government are way over paid…securing ridiculous pensions and getting huge raises on tax payer money.

Hey. It all about choice. So let’s get it straight. The people who worked hard to build and develop Canada over the last 200 Years and paid their taxes, that’s ok. You however, feel you shouldn’t have to pay your way like Canadians. If you love your Country and the lifestyle, why did you leave it? No one twisted your arm to leave your fantastic Country and and move to this awful nasty boring and expensive Country with such uninteresting people unfriendly people. Gee, perhaps Canadians should move to your Country and not need to work, no medical expenses, no tax, and everything free. No need to work, Fantastic! What country are you people from? Hey, move to the USA by all means please and take your friends with you, so you will be one big happy group. Gee the Americans shall welcome you with open arms. As the saying goes, if you don’t appreciate what Canada has given you, that fine, just leave ASAP and be happy wherever you want to go! Actually, I have never heard such garbage from two thankless persons in my life. Be careful. In this video you both sound like spoiled brats. Many people in your home country would do almost anything to trade places with either of you. It sounds like you would both be happier if you went back home. When you get there please contribute some of what you learned in Canada to the people around you. But before you leave please be sure to thank the Canadian government officials and the other Canadians who helped to make it possible for you to reside in Canada legally. You should both remember that there are millions of illegal immigrants in the US and Europe who would gladly trade places with either of you. By the way, I am not Canadian. But I imagine that many of the Canadians who watch this video will feel you are both rather ungrateful for the opportunities that Canada has given you.

Taxes are meant to run the country's affaires but people are just mean. You love it when you are broke and are able to benefit free services from the government but when you start making some money and are asked to contribute so that the country can keep up with all it's programs you start complaining. Come back to Africa, there is always a trade-off. No good service and less taxes. Just keep in mind that Africa not developing is our choice otherwise the cost of development is that, in a way ( higher taxes and government's direct control over people's affaires). I thank God anyway that you people can complain of better living condition but I would rather get busy working hard in Canada than not finding a decent job in Africa or bare the cold whether than sleeping hungry in Africa. While not staying that you would be in the worst conditions in Africa, I want you appreciate what you have and remember one truth, so many people in Africa would wish to be in your position. Anyway, you are welcome home. There's still a place for you all. Come help us change our continent for the better.
