All of our troubles in Canada is due to very excessive immigration. Every single aspect of housing, education and healthcare could not absorb this unsustainable population growth. And llok at it, immigrants are not willing to give any money to income tax but they want the service sithout paying for it. That’s not the way it works. I’m a GenX and I bought my house for cheap in the 80’s. Now taht it’s paid off my cost of living is the price of housing taxes so about 300$ a month for a recent suburban house valued at 850k$. It is almost impossible for immigrants to buy a house like that. That’s why we not only need less immigrants but we have to make existing immigrants to leave Canada. We are not the dream country they hoped for mainly because of them. Leave.

3 million Indians injected into a country of less than 40 million people is insane - what was Canada thinking ?? They had to know that the TFW's would flock to a small number of cities - just as many Indians have done here in Australia. The government needs to cut immigration for the time being, invest in infrastructure, and then re-open the doors when we can sustain ourselves as well as our newcomers. Again, sadly, South Asian immigrants are the most visible due to the number immigrating to Canada and because they are snatching up all the failing local businesses and opening Indian restaurants (this isn't judgement, newcomers should absolutely have the right to start a business and support themselves, but the optics of long term business closing down to sell butter chicken sets some people off when our country is failing our existing small business owners). It isn't the fault of immigrants, it's the fault of the people mismanaging our country. Then there is the 10% scamming, forming gangs, skirting laws, etc. Screw them.

Well there is definitely a loophole where migrants chose Canada as a connecting point to enter United States. Even with AI technology when it comes to immigration Control then there is always a lack of substantial border control.
