Speaking as a Canadian who have left the country in 2021 and NOT looking back! \n1) healthcare: the quality and quantity is falling dramatically. Doctors are leaving south, healthcare budgets are keep being cut every year by our wonderful government. The quality is very poor. Waiting lines are insane! Ilyou can seriously spend the while day/night with your sick child in a waiting line at a hospital. Average is over 12 hrs already!!! \n2) criminal situation is worsening every year. Even in the best neighborhoods you no longer feel safe. \n3) schools/education: same thing. Teachers are leaving due to low wages and larger classes. Separate tutors for kids with special needs are being more and more limited. \n4) i know you mentioned it, but i want to reinstate: CRAZY food inflation. \nI have no idea how people are making it in Canada. I'm irish-finnish and my ancestors came here from a combination of 1900-1948 and they were very hard-working people and made an effort to put everything into trying to fit into the older canadian society, so I respect them. Sometimes they weren't treated well and were disrespected but they tried so hard to make an impact in our country, even if it might've costed them their lives. I respect anyone who comes to Canada and tries their best to be a hard worker and integrate. However I don't respect anybody who comes here and doesn't try to fit in and leech off being a student. A Canadian here who moved to the USA back in the 1990's. Back then, and even more so today, it was pointless with the Canadian tax structure to work hard and make higher income. So I moved to the USA, worked my ass off in a progressive tax structure and am now in a place of happiness and freedom in retirement. I visit Canada often enjoying a great exchange rate. It's heartbreaking to see everyone either work like crazy to be left with almost nothing after taxes, or my unemployed friends get almost as much after-tax on welfare who complain about how the schools, taxes and government service are going to immigration. I hope Canada can start developing an identity and work towards something more positive than simply growing the government unions.

I think it’s just the normal thing, questions are asked in every port of entry, I came into Canada about a week ago and was asked exactly same questions in Toronto airport all you need is have all your documents handy and be bold in answering all the questions you are asked and be genuine. There is no need being afraid once you are sure of the purpose of your trip then you are good. I’ve been to several countries and it’s almost same questions at every port of entry. God help us.
